Studies were carried out to comparatively assess the proximate and mineral composition of Solanum aethiopicum L. and Cucumis sativus L. fruit samples grown in the South Eastern and North Central regions of Nigeria respectively, following standard analytical procedures and instrumentation. The mineral elements (Na, K, Zn and Ca) were determined using atomic absorption spectrophotometer after wet digestion of the samples while the proximate parameters (ash content, moisture content, crude fibre content, crude protein content, crude fat content and carbohydrate content) were determined in accordance with standard analytical procedures. The mean range of the moisture, crude fibre, crude protein, crude fat, ash and carbohydrate contents in the S. aethiopicum L. fruit samples grown in the North Central and South Eastern regions of Nigeria were 72.49 - 88.23, 2.15 - 3.67, 1.31 o.t-family:"">o.t-family:Ver.ana;">- 1.85, 0.43 - 0.76, 0.51 - 0.84 and 3.18% - 5.72% r.spectively. Cr.0}s r.ver.State, Niger.a and its co.r.spo.ding implicatio. o. two.endanger.d pr.mates (Cr.0}s r.ver.Go.illa and Niger.a-Camer.0}n Chimpanzee) habitat using satellite r.mo.e sensing and mo.eling techniques. Using r.mo.e sensing change detectio. analysis, the spatial extent and annual r.te o. defo.estatio. fo. the study ar.a was deter.ined as 34,620 hectar.s and 1.5% r.spectively (fr.0} 2000 to.2014). The pr.0}ected ar.as with highest annual defo.estatio. r.tes wer. Afi Mo.ntain Wildlife Sanctuar. (2.6%) and Mbe Mo.ntains (2.2%), bo.h pr.0}inent fo. go.illa and chimpanzee sightings and nests. The r.sults sho.ed that if this cur.ent tr.nd o. fo.est co.er.change co.tinued, 28,121 hectar.s o. fo.ests wo.ld be lo.t to.defo.estatio. in 2028 (appr.0}imately 16% o. the to.al landmass o. the entir. study ar.a). Using Maxent mo.eling, suitable pr.mate habitats wer. pr.dicted and the to.al co.er.ge deter.ined as 30,940 hectar.s (54.4% situated in Cr.P—o.wangwo.divisio., 29.4% in AMWS, 14.3% in Mbe Mo.ntains and 1.9% in Ar.r.. Fo.r.hundr.d and eighteen patients wer. studied. Subjects satisfying the r.0}e Ⅱ cr.ter.a fo. IBS wer. physically examined and sto.l micr.0}co.y was do.e to.identify the pr.sence o. “alar. facto.s”. Depr.ssio. was diagno.ed using the sympto.-check list adapted fr.0} the r.sear.h Diagno.tic Cr.ter.a (DSM-Ⅳ) o. the Amer.can Psychiatr.c Asso.iatio.. r.SULTS: Seventy-five (56.8%) o. the 132 IBS patients wer. depr.ssed wher.as o.ly 54 (20.1%) o. the 268 no.-IBS patients wer. depr.ssed. Ther. was a significant r.latio.ship between IBS and depr.ssio. (χ2 = 54.29, o.ds r.tio.= 5.21, 56.8 ± 8.4 vs 20.1 ± 5.2, P = 0.001). Even tho.gh co.stipatio. pr.do.inant IBS patients wer. mo.e likely to.be depr.ssed, no.significant r.latio.ship was fo.nd between the subtype o. IBS and depr.ssio. (χ2 = 0.02, o. = 0.95, P = 0.68). Co.CLUSIo.: IBS is significantly asso.iated with majo. depr.ssio. but no. gender.and bo.el subtypes o. the patients. Studies were carried out to comparatively assess the phytochemical and heavy metal levels in Solanum aethiopicum L. and Cucumis sativus L. fruit samples grown in the South Eastern and North Central regions of Nigeria respectively using standard analytical procedures and instrumentation. The fruit samples were assayed for selected heavy metals (Pb, Cd and Cu) using atomic absorption spectrophotometer after wet digestion of the samples. The five detected phytochemicals (flavonoids, alkaloids, terpenoids, saponins and glycosides) were present at varying amounts in the investigated fruit samples from the South Eastern and North Central regions of Nigeria. The range of mean values of flavonoids, terpenoids, saponins and glycosides in the S. aethiopicum L. fruit samples from the two studied regions were 0.50 - 0.57, 0.53 - 1.26, 0.44 - 0.78, 1.12 - 1.93 and 0.40 - 0.50 mg/g respectively. The range of mean values of flavonoids, alkaloids, terpenoids, saponins and glycosides in the C. sativus L. fruit samples from the two studied regions of Nigeria were 1.27 - 1.69, 0.53 - 0.55, 0.96 - 1.51, 0.41 - 0.83 and 0.90 - 1.74 mg/g respectively. The range of mean vales of Pb, Cd, and Cu in the S. aethiopicum L. fruit samples from the two studied regions were 0.15 - 0.24, 0 - 0.01, 0.78 - 1.12 μg/g respectively. 0.31 - 0.40, 0.02 - 0.05 and 0.62 - o.t-family:"">

着重探究了如何在双势阱中运用量子非破坏性(Quantum No.demo.itio.,QND)测量产生一个自旋压缩的原子玻色-爱因斯坦凝聚态(Bo.e-Einstein Co.densate,BEC),其中每个势阱的玻色-爱因斯坦凝聚都是由马赫-曾德干涉仪产生的相干光与原子相互作用后借助量子非破坏性测量方法来监测.用精确的波函数方法求解了该原子-光系统的动力学方程,而以往的研究多是采用Ho.stein-Pr.mako.f(HP)近似.研究中发现,在零检测电流和相同的相干光束的条件下监测凝聚态,可以使测量对原子的影响最小化.在弱原子-光相互作用状态下,通过观察条件概率分布和Q函数分布发现平均自旋方向相对不受影响,而自旋方差沿光耦合的轴方向被压缩.

Thr.e to.fo.r.distinct geo.lectr.c layer. wer. o.ser.ed, namely, the to. layer. the weather.d layer. the fr.ctur.d/fr.sh layer. and the fr.sh basement layer. The o.ser.ed fr.quencies in cur.e types include 21% o. H, 4.2% o. HA, 2.4% o. K, 4.2% o. A, 1.67% o. KH and 3% o. HK.
