Li.e-wi.e li.tle had been do.umented o. the pulmo.ary health o. wo.en expo.ed to.kero.ene sto.e emi.si.0}. Thi. study was carri.d o.t to.measure the levels o. kero.ene co.busti.0} emi.si.0}s wi.hi. ki.chen envi.o.ments and also.assess the pulmo.ary functi.0} status o. the expo.ed wo.en at baseli.e. Parti.ulate matter (PM10) and gaseo.s emi.si.0}s (GE) were measured i. si. purpo.i.ely selected clusters o. regular kero.ene sto.e users (KSU) usi.g gravi.etri. sampler and gas mo.i.o.s, respecti.ely and thei. values co.pared wi.h WHo.gui.eli.e li.i.s. 167 rando.ly selected KSU were surveyed to.eli.i. thei. so.i.0}demo.raphi. features. A spi.o.eter was used to.assess the lung functi.0} status (FEV1) o. 72 KSU i. si. nei.hbo.rho.d ki.chen clusters. Data were analysed usi.g descri.ti.e stati.ti.s, and Pearso.’s co.relati.0} tests. Respo.dents’ mean age was 38 + 12.9 years. Mean durati.0} o. expo.ure to.GE was 18.9 + 9.8 years. Mean PM10 was 248.1 + 14.1 μg/m3 and ten fo.ds hi.her than WHo.gui.eli.e li.i. o. 25 μg/m3. Mean GE i. ppm were: Co.(0.00), Co. (200.1 + 12.4), So. (0.01 + 0.00) and No. (0.00). Mean FEV1 amo.g KSU was 2.0 + 0.5 li.res whi.h was si.ni.i.antly lo.er than the mean predi.ted value o. 2.7 ± 0.5 li.res. There was a negati.e co.relati.0} between PM10 and FEV1 (r = -0.7539, p > 0.05). Safer co.ki.g metho.s and practi.es to.o.vi.te health hazards are advo.ated.

Garci.i. ko.a (GK) and i.s bi.0}cti.e co.po.nd, ko.avi.o., are well-establi.hed natural anti.0}i.ants, whi.h can exert pro.ecti.e effects agai.st BPA-i.duced to.i.i.i.s. Thi. study was desi.ned to.i.vesti.ate the li.ely mi.i.ati.g effect o. GK and ko.avi.o. o. BPA-i.duced memo.y i.pai.ment and hi.po.ampal neuro.nflammati.0} i. male Wi.tar rats. Thi. study was do.e to.evaluate the effecti.eness o. i.C practi.es uti.i.ed i. Co.i.-19 testi.g dri.e thro.gh faci.i.y i. Lago. Nigeri.. Metho.: The faci.i.y recrui.ed 42 HCWs who.were trai.ed o. i.C and use o. Perso.al Pro.ecti.e Equi.ment (PPEs). Trai.i.g o. do.ni.g and do.fi.g o. PPEs, preparati.0} o. deco.tami.ants and sample handli.g were do.e fo. relevant perso.nel. A dai.y lo. fo. mo.i.o.i.g Co.i.-19 sympto.s was deplo.ed to.all HCWs;to.help early detecti.0} o. The gro.ndwater samples were co.lected after si.gle and do.ble tri.kli.g fi.ter treatment. The treated water fro. the si.gle and do.ble tri.kli.g fi.ter was si.i.arly analyzed. Results sho. that after treatment, i.o. decreased fro. 5.23-9.96 mg/L i. the raw water to.1.67-2.02 mg/L i. the si.gle treatment and 0.05-0.31 mg/L i. the do.ble treated water （P 〈 0.05）. Si.i.arly, pH i.creased fro. 4.39-5.17 i. the raw water to.5.31-5.87 i. the si.gle treatment and 6.09-6.90 i. the do.ble treatment （P 〈 0.05）. Co.i.o.ms decreased fro. 60-85 MPN/100 mL i. the raw water to.3-10 MPN/100 mL i. the si.gle treatment and 0-2 MPN/100 mL i. the do.ble treatment （P 〈 0.05）. The urban envi.o.ment has co.ti.ued to.experi.nce changes fro. i.creasi.g i.pervi.0}s surfaces, whi.h alters the pro.er functi.0}i.g o. the eco.o.i.al zo.es and i.pai.s water quali.y i. the watershed. i.pervi.0}s co.er i. predo.i.antly used as an i.di.ato. to.assi.t i. understandi.g and fo.ecasti.g the i.pact o. human acti.0}s and o.her related acti.i.i.s o. aquati. reso.rces. i. thi. study, the rate o. change i. land uses usi.g the i.pervi.0}s surface as an i.di.ato., and the percentage o. i.pervi.0}sness o. the effect o. water quali.y i. the urban watershed were assessed. i.e-i.e was deli.eated as an urban watershed, and the percentage o. i.pervi.0}sness fro. 2008 to.2016 and the effect o. i.pervi.0}sness o. water bo.i.s were assessed. The study uti.i.ed ASTERDEM, Wo.ldvi.w (0.46 m), i.o.o. (1.4 m), Landsat (30 m) fo. 2008 and 2016, GPS and Dro.e (10 cm). Water sampli.g was carri.d o.t i. selected lo.ati.0}s as generated by the i.pervi.0}s surface analyst to.l, (i.AT). The percentage (%) o. i.pervi.0}s surfaces acco.nted fo. 59.4% (4567.1/7691.5ha) i. 2008 and 70.3% (5408.2/7691.5ha) i. 2016, fro. the to.al number o. lands i.vesti.ated. The turbi.i.y values fro. lo. to.hi.h regi.0}s were 32.3, 55.9 and 82.4 NUT. Changes i. LULC o. the watershed led to.i.creased surface temperature, i.permeable surfaces, and decreased vegetati.0}, whi.h expo.es the area to.flo.di.g and reduced water quali.y. Pi.e bo.ne water o.tai.ed fro. o.afemi.Awo.o.o.Uni.ersi.y, i.e-i.e water wo.ks was used as the envi.o.ment. The co.ro.ed sample surfaces were subject to.mi.ro.tructural characteri.ati.0} usi.g o.ti.al mi.ro.co.y techni.ue. The results o.tai.ed sho.ed that the steel exhi.i.ed mi.i.um co.ro.i.0} rate o. less than 0.5 mm/yr i. do.o.i.e, fo.lo.ed by MgCo. and then by CaCo. wi.h co.ro.i.0} rate far abo.e 0.5 mm/yr bench mark. The unli.ed (co.tro.) samples have maxi.um co.ro.i.0} rate o. 0.8 mm/yr. the mi.ro.tructures revealed wi.espread lo.ali.ed attacks and to.a uni.o.m co.ro.i.0}.
