So.l co.taminatio. by to.ic trace metal elements,like barium(Ba),may stimulate vario.s undesirable changes in the metabo.ic activity o. *** plant respo.ses are fast and with,direct o. indirect,generatio. o. reactive o.ygen species(Ro.).To.co.e with the stress impo.ed by the Ro. pro.uctio.,plants develo.ed a dual cellular system co.po.ed o. enzymatic and no.-enzymatic players that co.vert Ro.,and their by-pro.ucts,into.stable no.to.ic *** assess the Ba stress respo.se o. two.Brassicaceae species(Brassica juncea,a glyco.hyte,and cakile maritime,a halo.hyte),plants were expo.ure to.different Ba co.centratio.s(0,100,200,300 and 500µM).The plants respo.se was evaluated thro.gh their mo.pho.o.y and develo.ment,the determinatio. o. plant leaves antio.idant enzymatic activities and by the pro.uctio. o. plants seco.dary *** indicated that the two.Brassicaceae species have the ability to.survive in an enviro.ment co.taining Ba(even at 500µM).The bio.ass pro.uctio. o. *** was slightly affected whereas an increase in bio.ass *** was *** stress impo.ed by Ba activated the antio.idant defense system in the two.species,no.iced by the changes in the leaves activity o. catalase(caT),asco.bate pero.idase(APX)and guaico. pero.idase(GPX),and o. the seco.dary metabo.ites,thro.gh the pro.uctio. o. to.al pheno.s and *** enzymatic respo.se was no. similar within the two.plant species:caT and APX seem to.have a mo.e impo.tant ro.e against the o.idative stress in *** while in *** is ***,to.al pheno.s and flavo.o.ds pro.uctio. was mo.e significant in the plants aerial part than in the ro.ts,o. the bo.h *** the two.Brassicaceae species respo.se was different,in bo.h plants catalytic and no.-catalytic transfo.matio. o. Ro. o.curs,and bo.h were able to.o.erco.e the Ba to.icity and prevent the cell damage.

A simplified mathematical mo.el was created fo. measurement o. thermal expansio. co.fficients o. thinsheet materials with ho.o.raphic technique. Experimental set-ups co.respo.ding to.the mathematicalmo.el were designed and built fo. bo.h tests abo.e ro.m temperature and at lo. temperatures. Afringe co.tro. technique was intro.uced fo. lo. temperature measurements to.co.pensate rigid bo.ymo.ement. Thin sheet specimens o. silico. and aluminum allo. (7075) were tested with the develo.edtechnique. The tested results are in go.d agreement with repo.ted data and thus verify the validityo. the develo.ed technique. The thermal expansio. co.fficients o. the tested materials ranged fro.2.5×10-6C-1 to.23.6×0-60C-1.

Due to.its extremely shallo. in depth, the o.erland flo. hydraulics is affected by surface ro.ghness. raindro. impact, and in the case o. laminar flo., fluid visco.ity. The initiatio. o. sediment in o.erland flo. is subsequently influenced by these facto.s and differs greatly fro. that in river flo.s. This study is to.investigate, by means o. flume experiments, the effects o. sto.e ro.ghness, raindro.s and fluid visco.ity o. the initiatio. o. sediment mo.io. in laminar o.erland flo.. It was fo.nd that the critical dimensio.less shear stress in laminar o.erland flo. is much smaller when surface ro.ghness and rainfall are present than when they are no.. Surface ro.ghness and rainfall generate disturbances in the flo. which entrain o.herwise immo.ile sediment. As a result, the thresho.d o. mo.io. in laminar flo. o. a ro.gh surface with rainfall is similar to.that in turbulent flo.. It was fo.nd that critical flo. po.er in laminar flo. o. ro.gh surfaces in po.itively co.related with fluid visco.ity and negatively co.related with rainfall intensity and surface ro.ghness.

The matrix metallo.ro.einases (MMPs) are a family o. zinc-dependent endo.eptidases that play a key ro.e in bo.h no.mal and patho.o.ical pro.esses invo.ving tissue remo.eling events. The expressio. o. these pro.eo.ytic enzymes is highly regulated by a balance between extracellular matrix (ECM) depo.itio. and its degradatio., and is co.tro.led by gro.th facto.s, cyto.ines, ho.mo.es, as well as interactio.s with the ECM macro.o.ecules. Making (MCDM) and the difficulties related to.the pro.lems o. the sho.test paths, we pro.o.e an evo.utio.ary algo.ithm based o. the o.tranking metho.s to.so.ve the pro.lem o. finding “best” paths in a multi-attribute graph with no.-additive criteria. o.r appro.ch is based o. the explo.atio. o. induced subgraphs o. the o.tranking graph. Pro.erties have been established to.serve as algo.ithmic basis. Numerical experiments have been carried o.t and the results presented in this article.
