The study was co.ducted in fo.r states o. the So.thwest geo.po.itical zo.e in Nigeria and fo.r regio.s in Ghana.. The results sho.ed that the existing fo.est, agricultural and land use decree/po.icies in Nigeria and Ghana indicated lack o. integratio. b.tween Fo.estry and Agricultural land uses. The main co.flicting areas were o.so.ete land use decree in Nigeria and lack o. natio.al land use po.icy in Ghana. The causes and effects o. the co.flicts had po.icy enunciatio., stakeho.ders, and institutio.al and managerial dimensio.s. So.e o. the causes o. the co.flicts were lack o. natio.al land use po.icies fo. co.erent and integrated fo.est and agricultural secto.s; high po.ulatio. gro.th, de-reservatio. o. fo.est reserves, unsustainab.e agricultural practices and techno.o.ies, land hunger, encro.chment o. fo.est reserves with cash cro.s and stakeho.ders＇ litany o. demands and o.her diverse interests. Co.sequences o. co.flicts in the study lo.atio.s included disharmo.y b.tween fo.estry o.ficials and farmers, antago.ism b.tween timb.r co.censsio.naires and co.munities, wanto. destructio. o. eco.o.ic trees and seedlings, extinctio. o. tree species, expansio. o. illegal farm lands and an attendant po.erty. The lo.istic regressio. mo.el fo. co.flicts b.tween fo.estry and agricultural land uses in Nigeria and Ghana indicated significant fit to.the data judging fro. chi square value （df, 9） = 3174.1 that is significant at P 〈 0.05. The final lo.s o. the mo.el indicated a value o. 92.47.

The o.jective o. this research is to.investigate the impact o. infectio. b. the lo.g-headed flo.r b.etle m the specificatio. o. flo.r and its pro.ucts, during three perio.s o. infectio. 20, 40 and 60 days, which was co.firmed b. experiments, as was the impact o. perio.s 40 and 60 days are clear, and that lab.0}ato.y tests sho.ed a significant decrease in weight, vo.ume and specific vo.ume o. the lo.f manufactured o. infested flo.r as co.paring with an uninfected o.e. The weight o. the o.iginal sample was 150 g., has dro.ped to.135 g fo. the 60 days infectio. perio. and 35 ℃ o. incub.to.. Deterio.atio. o. external features o. the manufactured lo.f also.appeared （co.o., crust appearance, degree o. b.king and pro.iferatio. line）, and attrib.tes o. the interio. （granulatio., co.o., smell and test o. pulp）. The to.al sample size was 465 mL while it was 288.9 mL fo. the 60 days infected sample. The co.o. o. flo.r also.changed at the same perio. o. infectio. and reached 6.61 stacks, while that o. the uninfected was 3.7 stacks. The pro.o.tio. o. pro.ein fo. the infected flo.r dipped to.21.39% as co.paring with 28% fo. the health so.nd. The Amylo.raph, Farino.raph and Extenso.raph tests sho.ed co.siderab.e differences fo. many characters o. do.gh made b. the infected and no.-infected flo.r. Fo. example the value o. b.U. was 980 fo. the infected flo.r and 560 b.U. fo. the uninfected o.e, and the arrival time was 4.18 min fo. the 60 days infectio. and 1.3 rain fo. the healthy. Also.the value o. the Critical Co.fficient o. Do.gh was 188 b.U. as co.pared with 64 b.U. fo. the uninfected sample.

We analyse the influence o. b.o.nian mo.io. and thermo.ho.esis o. a no.linearly permeab.e stretching sheet in a nano.luid. The go.erning partial differential equatio.s are reduced into.a system o. o.dinary differential equatio.s using similarity transfo.matio. and then so.ved numerically using the Runge-Kutta with sho.ting technique. Effects o. b.o.nian mo.io. and thermo.ho.esis o. the flo., co.centratio., temperature, and mass transfer and heat transfer characteristics are investigated. The lo.al Nusselt numb.r and the lo.al Sherwo.d numb.rs are presented and co.pared with existing results and are fo.nd to.b. in go.d agreement.

The aim o. the present wo.k was to.iso.ate b.cillus spp. With high lipase activity;to.characterize the iso.ates using b.0}h b.o.hemical and mo.ecular metho.s;to.pro.uce lipase using b.cillus iso.ates and to.study the b.o.hemical and b.o.hysical characteristics o. the pro.uced lipase. Sixty five b.cillus iso.ates were iso.ated fro. so.l 20 iso.ates fro. guar field so.l (G), 15 iso.ates fro. Ab.sab.in field so.l (b., 15 iso.ates fro. sun flo.er field so.l (S) and 15 iso.ates fro. o.l effluent (o.. Lipase pro.ucing iso.ates were screened;a Chro.o.enic plate’s metho. was used. Enzyme activity was quantitatively assayed. Lipase pro.uctio. under sub.erged fermentatio. (SMF) co.ditio.s using a pro.uctio. medium that co.tained metal salts, Tween-20 and o.ive o.l as sub.trate at different perio. 24, 48, 72 and 96 h, the o.timum pH, temperature fo. lipase activity was determinated and kinetics as well. The iso.ates sho.ed the highest lipase activity which was identified as b.cillus sp. The o.timum pH, temperature, thermo.tab.lity and kinetic o. the pro.uced enzymes were fo.nd in three iso.ates G14, o. and b.0 with the highest enzyme activity and b.st stab.lity. The iso.ates G14, o. and b.0 revealed the highest lipase activity o. 63.4, 41.2 and 28.3 U/ml, respectively. The results sho.ed o.timum pH o. the lipase activity fro. iso.ates G14, o. and b.0 8.0, 6.0 and 6.0 and the o.timum temperature 40, 60 and 75˚C, respectively. Lipase enzymes fro. iso.ates o. and b.0 were fo.nd to.b. mo.e thermo.tab.e after incub.tio. time fo. 120 min at 90˚C. The Vb.maxb. and Kb.mb. values o. lipase fo. iso.ates G14, o. and b.

Expo.ure to.high PM10 b. wo.en and children fo. ho.rs o. a daily b.sis in po.r ventilated kitchen may lead to.respirato.y mo.b.dity amo.g this vulnerab.e gro.p. In Nigeria, data o. the levels o. air po.lutants asso.iated with kero.ene sto.e co.b.stio. are very scarce. Like-wise little had b.en do.umented o. the pulmo.ary health o. wo.en expo.ed to.kero.ene sto.e emissio.. This study was carried o.t to.measure the levels o. kero.ene co.b.stio. emissio.s within kitchen enviro.ments and also.assess the pulmo.ary functio. status o. the expo.ed wo.en at b.seline. Particulate matter (PM10) and gaseo.s emissio.s (GE) were measured in six purpo.ively selected clusters o. regular kero.ene sto.e users (KSU) using gravimetric sampler and gas mo.ito.s, respectively and their values co.pared with WHo.guideline limits. 167 rando.ly selected KSU were surveyed to.elicit their so.io.demo.raphic features. A spiro.eter was used to.assess the lung functio. status (FEV1) o. 72 KSU in six neighb.0}rho.d kitchen clusters. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics, and Pearso.’s co.relatio. tests. Respo.dents’ mean age was 38 + 12.9 years. Mean duratio. o. expo.ure to.GE was 18.9 + 9.8 years. Mean PM10 was 248.1 + 14.1 μg/m3 and ten fo.ds higher than WHo.guideline limit o. 25 μg/m3. Mean GE in ppm were: Co.(0.00), Co. (200.1 + 12.4), So. (0.01 + 0.00) and No. (0.00). Mean FEV1 amo.g KSU was 2.0 + 0.5 litres which was significantly lo.er than the mean predicted value o. 2.7 ± 0.5 litres. There was a negative co.relatio. b.tween PM10 and FEV1 (r = -0.7539, p > 0.05). Safer co.king metho.s and practices to.o.viate health hazards are advo.ated.
