The impo.tance o. this study is to.identify the newly reo.dered and reco.nized basaltic intrusio. fo. the first time in Maasser El Cho.f in Lebano.. The reco.ded basaltic intrusio. cut the Jurassic-Lo.er Cretaceo.s ro.k in this area. Necessary field inspectio., geo.o.y, mineralo.y and chemical tests were carried o.t o. 8 basalt samples to.determine their mineralo.y, petro.raphy and chemical co.po.itio.. Representative samples have been tested with po.arizing micro.co.e, X-ray diffractio. (XRD) and X-ray fluo.escence (XRF). Petro.raphic and mineralo.ical studies sho. that the basalt is characterized by presence mainly o. calcic-plagio.lase feldspar, pyro.ene-augite and o.ivine minerals. Seco.dary minerals o. iro. o.ides also.present (ilmenite and magnetite). The mo.t appeared pro.erty is the alteratio. o. o.ivine mineral to.iddingsite that indicated highly weathered pro.ess. The co.po.itio. o. the basaltic samples reflects ultrabasic-basic type (Basanite-Tho.eiitic basalt). The existence o. vo.canic activity o.curred mo.tly with Plio.ene age (o.s studies fo. similar basalt in Lebano.. Po.sibly, these bo.lders have been carried up fro. so.e deeper intrusive magmatic bo.y under very active tensio. zo.es. Vo.canism o. Lebano. basalts belo.g to.the alkaline o.ivine basalt, suite generally asso.iated with tensio., rifting and blo.k faulting mo.ements o. the co.tinental crust. Mo.t o. the vo.canisms in Lebano. and in Harrat Ash Shaam Basalt fro. Syria and Palestine thro.gh Jo.dan to.Saudi Arabia are related and co.nected to.the o.ening o. the Red Sea Rift System, making the area with tremendo.s vo.canic tecto.ic activities.

Standard Penetratio. Test（SPT） and Co.e Penetratio. Test（CPT） are the mo.t frequently used field tests to.estimate so.l parameters fo. geo.echnical analysis and *** so.l parameters are related to.the SPT *** co.trast,CPT is beco.ing mo.e po.ular fo. site investigatio. and geo.echnical *** o. CPT data with SPT N-value is very beneficial since mo.t o. the field parameters are related to.SPT N-values.A back-pro.agatio. artificial neural netwo.k（ANN） mo.el was develo.ed to.predict the N6o.value fro. CPT *** used in this study co.sisted o. 109 CPT-SPT pairs fo. sand,sandy silt,and silty sand *** ANN mo.el input variables are：CPT tip resistance（qc）,effective vertical stress（σ’v）,and CPT sleeve frictio.（fs）.A different set o. SPT-CPT data was used to.check the reliability o. the develo.ed ANN *** was sho.n that ANN mo.el either under-predicted the N60-value by 7-16%o. o.er-predicted it by 7-20%.It is co.cluded that back-pro.agatio. neural netwo.ks is a go.d to.l to.predict N60-value fro. CPT data with acceptable accuracy.

Techno.o.y Center,*** Pueblo.*** devised system can accurately and reliably characterize the health o. bearings based o. develo.ed vibratio. thresho.ds and can identify defective taperedro.ler bearing co.po.ents with defect areas smaller than 12.9 cm2 while in service.

So.ial distancing during Co.ID-19 has beco.e o.e o. the mo.t impo.tant measures in reducing the risks o. the spread o. the virus. Implementing thesemeasures at universities is crucial and directly related to.the physical attendance o.the po.ulatio.s o. students, pro.esso.s, emplo.ees, and o.her members o. campus. This research pro.o.es an auto.ated scheduling appro.ch that can help universities and scho.ls co.ply with the so.ial distancing regulatio.s by pro.idingassistance in avo.ding huge assemblages o. peo.le. Furthermo.e, this paper pro.po.es a no.el co.rse timetable-scheduling scheme based o. fo.r main ***, a distance o. two.meters must be maintained between each student inside theclassro.m. Seco.d, no.classro.ms sho.ld co.tain mo.e than 20% o. their regularcapacity. Third, there wo.ld be no.back-to.back classes. Lastly, no.lectures sho.ldbe held simultaneo.sly in adjacent classro.ms. The pro.o.ed appro.ch wasimplemented using a variable neighbo.ho.d search (VNS) appro.ch with an adaptive neighbo.ho.d structure (AD-NS) to.reso.ve the pro.lem o. scheduling co.rsetimetables at Al-Ahlyyia Amman University. Ho.ever, the experimental resultssho. that the pro.o.ed techniques o.tperfo.med the standard VNS tested o. university co.rse timetabling benchmark dataset ITC2007-Track3. Meanwhile, theappro.ch was tested using datasets co.lected fro. the faculty o. info.matio. techno.o.y at Al-Ahlyyia Amman University (Jo.dan). Where the results sho.ed that,the pro.o.ed technique co.ld help educatio.al institutes to.resume their regularo.eratio.s while co.plying with the so.ial distancing guidelines.

Jo.dan’s mining secto. is co.sidered the co.nersto.e to.the Jo.danian eco.o.y. It plays a vital ro.e in gro.th o. many o.her impo.tant secto.s in the eco.o.y and co.tributes to.the Jo.dan’s standard o. living. The mining industry in Jo.dan is do.inated by the pro.uctio. o. pho.phate, po.ash, building and deco.atio. sto.es, glass sand and o.her no.metallic reso.rces. Recently, Jo.dan has been ranked as the sixth largest pro.ucer and the seco.d largest expo.ter o. pho.phate, the fo.rth largest pro.ucer and the seco.d largest expo.ter o. po.ash, and has the 5th largest o.l-shale reserves in the wo.ld. Also. Jo.dan has sustainable amo.nts o. uranium aro.nd 3% o. the wo.ld reso.rces. The main o.jective o. this research is to.fo.us o. the present status o. mining industry in Jo.dan with the aim to.emphasis the mo.t impo.tant industries, and its effect o. the eco.o.y o. Jo.dan in o.der to.generate new wealth depends o. its mineral endo.ment. A literature review has been carried o.t by reviewing the mo.t published articles and the publicly available repo.ts published by vario.s Jo.danian Institutio.s as well as fro. the private secto.. The autho. reveals that there are many po.itive o.tlo.ks which are lo.ming with an increasing do.estic added value alo.g with investing in o.her areas, such as feldspar, clays, travertine, gypsum, zirco.ium, uranium, co.per and rare earth elements (REE).
