Kapo.i’s Disease o. Kapo.i’s Sarco.a (SK ) is a multifo.al malignant pro.iferatio. induced by viral gro.th facto.s, including interleukin 6 o. human herpes virus type 8 (HHV8). We describe fo.r fo.ms o. this disease who.po.es a real public health pro.lem in East and Central Africa. The purpo.e o. o.r o.servatio. was to.repo.t a rare co.ditio. in a Senegalese HIV-po.itive child. It was an 11-year-o.d girl fro. a regio. in central Senegal. She was an o.phan o. bo.h parents, tested and mo.ito.ed since the age o. 5 fo. HIV infectio. 1. She was o. the 1st line pro.o.o.. Due to.a lack o. suppo.t and go.d o.servance, she was referred to.us at the age o. 11 fo. fo.lo.-up in o.r structure in the suburbs o. Dakar. The initial fo.lo.-up assessment sho.ed a very lo. CD4 co.nt and a very high viral lo.d. Befo.e the lack o. clinical and immune-viro.o.ical respo.se, a geno.ypic resistance test was perfo.med and sho.ed immuno.o.ical and viro.o.ical failure. The initial develo.ment was marked by the appearance o. lesio.s which were highly suggestive o. Kapo.i’s disease. She was o. 2nd line treatment. The histo.atho.o.ical aspect o. cutaneo.s bio.sy was very suggestive o. Kapo.i’s disease. The subsequent co.rse after ART and bleo.ycin treatment was clinically marked by regressio. o. skin lesio.s. Viro.o.ically, it was marked by a fall in the viral lo.d. Immuno.o.ically there was a gradual reco.ery o. CD4 levels which came back to.no.mal. o.r o.servatio. demo.strates that absence o. effective antiretro.iral therapy fo. HIV increases the risk to.develo. Kapo.i’s sarco.a.

o.g>Intro.uctio.: o.g>Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) is a global public health priority. It is the leading cause of childhood morbidity and mortality, especially in developing countries. The main objective of this work was to look mainly at the bacteriological aspects of ARI in children in Senegalese hospitals. Methodology: We have been conducted a prospective descriptive mono-centric study over a period of one year (from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018) at the Albert Royer National child hospital in Dakar. A multiplex PCR (protein chain reaction) has been performed on nasopharyngeal swabs taken from all patients. This technique (viral RNA transcribed into DNA, then the DNA of the different pathogens is simultaneously amplified in the same tube by PCR Fast-tract®, multiplex). Results: During the study period, 109 patients were included. The hospital prevalence of acute respiratory infections was 3.7%. The mean age was 23.7 months with extremes between 1 month and 144 months. Peaks of consultations were found in the months of August, March and April with 22%, 15.6% and 12.8% respectively. Fever, respiratory distress and pulmonary condensation syndrome were the main signs found in our patients. Bacteriology was positive in 82.6% of samples and the most frequently found bacteria were Streptococcus pneumoniae in 38.5%, Haemophilus influenza b in 32.1% and o.t-family:Verdana;"

We have fo.nd thro.gh calculatio.s that the differences between the clo.est suppo.ed prime numbers o.her than 2 and 3 defined in the articles are: 2;4: and 6. Fo. tho.e who.e difference is equal to.6, we sho.ed their o.igin then we classified them into.two.catego.ies acco.ding to.their classes, we sho.ed in which co.text two.prime numbers which differ fro. 6 are called sexy and in what co.text they are said real sexy prime. Fo. tho.e who.e difference is equal to.4, we sho.ed their o.igin then we sho.ed that two.prime numbers which differ fro. 4, that is to.say two.co.sin prime numbers, are successive. In this present study, we analyzed the effects o. Prandtl and Jaco. numbers and dimensio.less thermal co.ductivity o. the velo.ity pro.iles in media (po.o.s and liquid). The transfers in the po.o.s medium and the liquid film are described respectively by the impro.ed Wo.ding mo.el and the classical bo.ndary layer equatio.s. The mesh o. the digital do.ain is co.sidered unifo.m in the transverse and lo.gitudinal directio.s. The advectio. and diffusio. terms are discretized with a back-centered and centered scheme respectively. The co.pled systems o. algebraic equatio.s thus o.tained are so.ved numerically using an iterative line-by-line relaxatio. metho. o. the Gauss-Seidel type. The results sho. that the parameters relating to.the thermal pro.lem (the dimensio.less thermal co.ductivity, the Prandtl (Pr) and Jaco. (Ja) numbers) have no.influence o. the dimensio.less speed, altho.gh the thermal and hydro.ynamic pro.lems are co.pled. Via the heat balance equatio.. The results o.tained sho. that the parameters relating to.the thermal pro.lem have no.influence o. the dimensio.less speed, altho.gh the thermal and hydro.ynamic pro.lems are co.pled via the heat balance equatio.. Flo. reco.ds fo. statio.s in the Casamance basin are inco.plete. Several gaps were no.ed o.er the 1980-2021 study perio., making this study tedio.s. The aim o. this study is to.assess the po.ential impact o. climate change o. the flo. o. the Casamance watershed at Ko.da. To.this end, hydro.o.ical series are simulated and then extended using the GR2M rainfall-runo.f mo.el, with a mo.thly time step. Pro.ected climate data are derived fro. a multi-mo.el ensemble under scenario. SSP2-4.5 (scenario.with additio.al radiative fo.cing o. 4.5 W/m2 by 2099) and SSP5-8.5 (scenario.with additio.al radiative fo.cing o. 8.5 W/m2 by 2099). An analysis o. the ho.o.eneity o. the rainfall data series fro. the Ko.da statio. was carried o.t using Khro.o.tat so.tware. The Casamance watershed was then delimited using ArcGIS to.determine the mo.pho.etric parameters o. the basin, which will be decisive fo. the rest o. the wo.k. Next, mo.thly evapo.ranspiratio. was calculated using the fo.mula pro.o.ed by o.din et al. This, to.ether with rainfall and runo.f, fo.ms the input data fo. the mo.el. The GR2M mo.el was then calibrated and cro.s-validated using vario.s simulatio.s to.assess its perfo.mance and ro.ustness in the Casamance watershed. The versio. o. the mo.el with the calibrated parameters will make it po.sible to.extend Casamance river flo.s to.2099. Intro.uctio.: Pleo.o.phic adeno.a o. mixed salivary gland tumo. is a hetero.eneo.s benign tumo. o. the salivary glands. The mo.t co.mo. site is the paro.id gland. Its extra-paro.id lo.atio.s, particularly in the accesso.y salivary glands, are rarer. We repo.t a case o. a pleo.o.phic adeno.a o. the po.terio. palate which po.ed management pro.lems. o.servatio.: This is an 85-year-o.d patient who.co.sulted fo. a tumo. o. the po.terio. palate that had been evo.ving fo. 3 years. The examinatio. revealed a glo.ular tumo. o. the po.terio. palate extending beyo.d the midline by appro.imately 7 cm in lo.g axis, sho.ting to.ards the o.o.harynx and hindering breathing, speech and eating, indicating a life-saving tracheo.o.y. A CT scan o. the facial area revealed a well-circumscribed tumo. at the expense o. the so.t palate, with multiple sites o. bo.e lysis. The bio.sy perfo.med was in favo. o. a pleo.o.phic adeno.a. The patient underwent to.al surgical excisio. o. a huge tumo. o. the palate. The aftermath o. the o.eratio. was marked by a lo.sening o. the sutures with an o.o.asal fistula requiring the creatio. o. an o.turato. plate due to.the patient’s refusal to.have ano.her o.eratio.. Co.clusio.: Large pleo.o.phic adeno.a o. the po.terio. palate is a rare entity that can cause respirato.y pro.lems and surgical difficulties. His pro.no.is is generally go.d.

Intro.uctio.: Sino.asal po.ypo.is (SNP) is a chro.ic inflammato.y disease o. the muco.a o. the nasal cavities and facial sinuses. It is characterized by an o.demato.s, multifo.al and bilateral degeneratio. o. the naso.inus muco.a, which o.iginates in the lateral masses o. the ethmo.d, where it causes the fo.matio. o. smo.th, gelatino.s, translucent and pyrifo.m po.yp lesio.s. The o.jective o. this study was to.review epidemio.o.ical, clinical, paraclinical data and evaluate the results o. endo.co.ic surgical treatment. Patients and Metho.s: This is a retro.pective study o. 60 patients fo.lo.ed at the ENT department o. the Fann Natio.al University Ho.pital Center, fro. January 2010 to.December 2015. All patients with sino.asal po.ypo.is were included in the study. Results: The average age o. o.r patients was 38 years and the sex ratio.(M/F) was 0.8. In the patients’ histo.ies, we fo.nd 18% asthma and 10% Widal’s disease. The average co.sultatio. time was 8.5 years. All patients had co.sulted fo. nasal o.structio.;rhino.rhea was bilateral and fo.nd in 67.7% o. cases, with o.facto.y diso.ders acco.nting fo. 50%. The CT scan perfo.med in 58% o. cases made it po.sible to.specify the extent o. the lesio.s;the invo.vement o. the ethmo.dal sinus was co.stant and extended to.the o.her sinuses except in 2 cases. All patients had received medical treatment with lo.al co.tico.tero.ds. Endo.co.ic surgical treatment was initiated in 43% o. cases after failure o. co.tico.tero.d-based medical treatment. The evo.utio. under treatment marked by the reappearance o. sympto.s that increased each mo.th. At o.e mo.th po.to.eratively, all clinical sympto.ato.o.y had impro.ed with the exceptio. o. o.facto.y diso.ders, which persisted in 3 patients. At 12 mo.ths we no.ed 12 cases o. reappearance o. nasal o.structio.. Co.clusio.: SNP is a disease o. little kno.n etio.o.y. The diagno.is is almo.t always clinical. The study co.ducted at Ndiebene Gandio. 1 scho.l in Senegal has unveiled serio.s enviro.mental and public health challenges. The wastewater analysis revealed high levels o. Bio.hemical o.ygen Demand (Bo.5), Chemical o.ygen Demand (Co.), and fecal co.ifo.ms, signaling po.ential risks to.the well-being o. students and staff. This situatio. mirro.s a wider issue in rural educatio.al settings, where inadequate sanitatio. persists. Intensive wastewater treatment o.tio.s are kno.n fo. their effectiveness against high po.lutant lo.ds but are reso.rce-intensive in bo.h energy and co.t. Co.versely, extensive treatment systems, while requiring mo.e land, pro.ide a sustainable alternative by harnessing natural pro.esses fo. po.lutant remo.al. The research suggests a hybrid treatment appro.ch co.ld serve the scho.l’s needs, balancing the ro.ust capabilities o. intensive metho.s with the eco.o.ical benefits o. extensive systems. Such a so.utio. wo.ld need to.be tailo.ed to.the specific enviro.mental, financial, and lo.istical co.text o. the scho.l, based o. co.prehensive feasibility studies and stakeho.der engagement. This study’s findings undersco.e the urgency o. addressing sanitatio. in scho.ls, as it is intrinsically linked to.the health and academic success o. students. Quick, effective, and lo.g-term strategies are vital to.secure a healthier and mo.e pro.pero.s future fo. the yo.th. With pro.er implementatio., the scho.l can transfo.m its sanitatio. facilities, setting a precedent fo. rural educatio.al institutio.s in Senegal and similar co.texts glo.ally.
