In this study,the workability of cement-based grouts containing n-Tio 2 nanoparticles and fly ash has been investigated *** characteristic quantities(including,but not limited to,the marsh cone flow time,the mini slump spreading diameter and the plate cohesion meter value)have been measured for different percentages of these *** use of fly ash as a mineral additive has been found to result in improvements in terms of workability behavior as ***,if nano titanium oxide is also used,an improvement can be obtained regarding the bleeding values for the cement-based grout *** such experimental data,a multi-layer perceptron artificial neural network model has been developed(5 neurons in the hidden layer of the network model have been developed using a total of 42 experimental data).70%of the data employed in this model have been used for training,15%for validation and 15%for the test *** results demonstrate that the artificial neural network model can predict Marsh cone flow time,mini slump spreading diameter and plate cohesion meter values with an average error of 0.15%.

Grids of stellar evolution omy/astrophysics, such as planet hosting are required in many fields of astron- stars, binaries, clusters, chemically peculiar stars, etc. In this study, a grid of stellar evolution models with updated ingredients and recently determined solar abundances is presented. The solar values for the initial abundances of hydrogen, heavy elements and mixing-length parameter are 0.0172, 0.7024 and 1.98, respectively. The mass step is small enough （0.01 M） that interpolation for a given star mass is not required. The range of stellar mass is 0.74 to 10.00M. We present results in different forms of tables for easy and general appli- cation. The second stellar harmonic, required for analysis of apsidal motion of eclips- ing binaries, is also listed. We also construct rotating models to determine the effect of rotation on stellar structure and derive fitting formulae for luminosity, radius and the second harmonic as a function of rotational parameter. We also compute and list colors and bolometric corrections of models required for transformation between theo- retical and observational results. The results are tested for the Sun, the Hyades cluster, the slowly rotating chemically peculiar Am stars and eclipsing binaries with apsidal motion. The theoretical and observational results along isochrones are in good agree- ment. The grids are also applicable to rotating stars provided that equatorial velocity is given.

The aim of this work was to investigate the microstructure and mechanical properties of 1vol%-Ni-added yttria-stabilized zirconia (ySz) toughened alumina composites. First, Ni powders were heterogeneously precipitated in an alumina–zirconia powder mixture suspended in water;the prepared specimens were then pressureless sintered at 1550°C/2 h in a 90vol%Ar/10vol% H2 atmosphere. The structure of phases and microstructure of the composites were characterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy, respectively. Mechanical characterization of the specimens was carried out through Vickers hardness, Vickers indentation toughness, and three-point flexural bending tests. The fine Ni particles were homogeneously dispersed throughout the alumina matrix because of the employed processing method. Furthermore, hardness and toughness values were found to increase by 8% and 50%, respectively, with Ni addition, whereas the relative densities and flexural strength values were found to remain unchanged.
