BACKGROUND The machine perfusion(MP)preservation including hypothermic MP(HMP)and midthermic MP(MMP)has been considered as a promising strategy to preserve the functions of liver donated after cardiac *** importance of understanding liver sinusoidal endothelial cells(LSEC)damage in regulating liver injury during MP has been ***,the ultrastructural changes in the LSEC and sinusoids around them after MP are *** To investigate the ultrastructural changes in the LSEC and sinusoids around them after *** Porcine liver grafts undergo a warm ischemia time of 60 minutes perfused for 4 h with modified University of Wisconsin gluconate *** A grafts were preserved with HMP at 8℃ constantly for 4 *** B grafts were preserved with a rewarming solution at 22℃ by MMP for 4 *** the ultrastructural changes in the LSEC and sinusoids in Group A and B were comparatively analyzed by using osmium-maceration scanning electron microscopy with complementary transmission electron microscopy *** An analysis of the LSEC after warm ischemia revealed that mitochondria with condensed-shaped cristae,abnormal vesicles,reduction of ribosomes and the endoplasmic reticulum(ER)surround the mitochondria *** MP subsequent after warm ischemia alleviate the abnormal vesicles and reduction of ribosomes in LSEC,which indicated the reduction of the ER ***,MMP could restore the tubular mitochondrial cristae,while after HMP the condensed and narrow mitochondrial cristae *** addition,the volume of the sinusoidal space in the liver grafts after MMP were restored,which indicated a lower risk of pressure injury than *** MMP alleviates the ER damage of LSEC by warm ischemia,additionally restore the metabolism of LSEC via the normalization of mitochondria and prevent the share stress damage of liver grafts.

The filler-bitumen interaction mechanism is one of the most essential phases for comprehending the asphalt mixture's ***,despite numerous studies,in-depth knowledge of filler-bitumen reciprocity at a microscale level is yet to be *** goal of this research is to gain a better understanding of the fillerbitumen microscale interaction in terms of the synergy and coaction between the physicochemical and rheological performance of mastics due to filler *** rheological properties of two sustainable mastics,dolomite powder(DP)and lime kiln dust(LKD),together with a neat PEN 60/70 binder,were analysed based on a temperature sweep at elevated temperature ***,frequency sweep and multiple stress creep recovery(MSCR)tests were also conducted at pavement serviceability temperature using the dynamic shear rheometer(DSR).Physicochemical tests using a scanning electron microscope(SEM)and energy dispersive X-rays(EDX)were conducted to analyse the impact of parameters such as particle shape,grain size,texture,and chemical *** DSR test results showcased how the incorporation of fillers in asphalt binder considerably improved the performance of the binder in terms of rutting and ***,its strain and nonrecoverable compliance parameters were substantially reduced at higher filler and binder *** filler attributes of low rigden voids(R.V),high fineness modulus(FM),and high specific surface area(SSA)led to greater interfacial stiffness and elasticity in LKD mastics compared to DP mastics at different loading frequencies and temperature *** SEM/EDX results also indicated that the elemental calcium and carbon composition of each filler component,together with its grain morphology,strongly influenced its rheological performance.

Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infection is a global health concern that has caused severe health threats over the past decade. Leaves extract of C. odontophyllum has been proven previously as an anti MRSA agent. Proteomics provide a technique that used to analyze the differential of protein expression profile between untreated and treated MRSA with subinhibitory concentrations of acetone extract from C. odontophyllum leaves. This study aims to determine the optimum parameter for analysis of protein expression profile using two-dimension gels electrophoresis (2-DE) for MRSA protein after treatment with acetone extract from C. odontophyllum leaves. Comparison of the Protein Expression Profile (PEP) between the untreated and treated MRSA was analyzed using PDQuest software.
