Methods: Stool sa.ples from food-a.lergic pa.ients undergoing ora. food cha.lenge were a.a.yzed for CD23 a.d food-specific IgE. CD23 isoform expression on prima.y huma. intestina. epithelia. cells (IEC) wa. a.a.yzed by polymera.e cha.n rea.tion. The role of CD23 isoforms in tra.scytosis of a.tigen a.d IgE-a.tigen complexes wa. a.sessed using pola.ized huma. T84 cells retrovira.ly tra.sfected with CD23a.or CD23b. Results: CD23 wa. expressed constitutively on IECs, a.d food-a.lergic pa.ients ha. increa.ed levels of soluble CD23 a.d food-specific IgE in the stool a.ter cha.lenge. CD23a. but not CD23b, wa. expressed by prima.y huma. IECs. We show in tra.scytosis a.sa.s tha. CD23a. but not CD23b, a.ts a. a.bidirectiona. tra.sporter of IgE. In a.dition, specific IgE fa.ilita.ed the upta.e of a.tigen from the a.ica. surfa.e of a. epithelia. monola.er by diverting a.tigen from delivery to lysosomes. Fina.ly, delivery of a.tigen-IgE complexes a.ross the epithelia. ba.rier could induce the degra.ula.ion of ra. ba.ophil leukemia.cells tra.sfected with the huma. high-a.finity IgE receptor. Conclusions: These studies show tha. CD23a.is expressed norma.ly on huma. IECs, a.d in the presence of IgE ca. function a. a. a.tigen-sa.pling mecha.ism ca.a.le of a.tiva.ing subepithelia. ma.t cells. Objective: To cha.a.terize the immunodeficiency in a.a.ia. tela.giecta.ia.(a.- T) a.d to determine whether the immunodeficiency is progressive a.d a.socia.e d with increa.ed susceptibility to infections. Study design: Records of 100 cons ecutive pa.ients with a. T from the Johns Hopkins a.a.ia. Tela.giecta.ia.Clini ca. Center (a.CC) were reviewed. Results: Immunoglobulin (Ig) deficiencies a.e c ommon, a.fecting IgG4 in 65% of pa.ients, Iga.in 63% , IgG2 in 48% , IgE in 23% , a.d IgG in 18% . Lymphopenia.a.fected 71% of pa.ients, with reduced B - lymphocyte number in 75% , CD4 T lymphocytes in 69% , a.d CD8 T lymphocytes in 51% . There wa. no trend for increa.ed frequency or severity of immune a.no rma.ities with a.e. Recurrent upper a.d lower respira.ory tra.t infections were frequent: otitismedia.in 46% of pa.ients, sinusitis in 27% , bronchitis in 19 % , a.d pneumonia.in 15% . Sepsis occurred in 5 pa.ients, in 2 pa.ients concur rent with ca.cer chemothera.y. Wa.ts a.fected 17% of pa.ients, herpes simplex 8% , molluscum conta.iosum 5% , ca.dida. esopha.itis 3% , a.d herpes zoster 2 % . Uncomplica.ed va.icella.infection occurred in 44% of pa.ients; 2 pa.ients ha. more tha. one clinica. episode. No pa.ient ha. Pneumocystis jerovici pneumo nia.or a.complica.ion of live vira. va.cine. Conclusions: In spite of the high p reva.ence of la.ora.ory immunologic a.norma.ities, systemic ba.teria., severe vi ra., a.d opportunistic infec tions a.e uncommon in a.. Cross- sectiona. a.a.ysis suggests tha. the immune defect is ra.ely progressive.

The a.ticle presents a. experimenta. study on the flow of a. eutectic ga.lium a.loy in a.cylindrica. cell, which is pla.ed in a. a.terna.ing ma.netic field. The ma.netic field is genera.ed by a.coil connected to a. a.terna.ing current source. The coil is loca.ed a. a.fixed height in such a.wa. tha. its pla.e is perpendicula. to the gra.ity vector, which in turn is pa.a.lel to the a.is of the cylinder. The position of the cylinder ca. va.y in height with respect to the coil. The forced flow of the considered electrica.ly conductive liquid is genera.ed due to the a.tion of the loca.ized electroma.netic force. It is a.sumed tha. under the a.tion of the a.terna.ing ma.netic field, the liquid is hea.ed uniformly, a.d the resulting hea. is quickly a.sorbed by the forced flow, so tha. liquid free convection ca. be neglected. The experiment is ca.ried out using a. ultra.onic Doppler a.emometer. One tra.sducer is insta.led in the a.ia.ly loca.ed cylinder sluice a.d the other tra.sducer is pla.ed in the nea.-wa.l region. a.cording to the results, a.velocity profile, corresponding to a.two-tori flow pa.tern ca. be ha.dly obta.ned in the low frequency ra.ge of the power supply. However, this is possible in the high frequency ra.ge. The a.era.e velocity profiles depend essentia.ly on the loca.ion of the coil rela.ive to the cell. The spectra. a.a.ysis of velocity signa.s shows tha. the a.plitude of the velocity pulsa.ions is compa.a.le to the a.era.e va.ue of the flow velocity. Recent studies ha.e underscored the significa.ce of the ca.illa.y fringe in hydrologica. a.d biochemica. processes. Moreover, its role in sha.low wa.ers is expected to be considera.le. Tra.itiona.ly, the study of groundwa.er flow ha. centered on unsa.ura.ed-sa.ura.ed zones, often overlooking the impa.t of the ca.illa.y fringe. In this study, we introduce a.stea.y-sta.e two-dimensiona. model tha. integra.es the ca.illa.y fringe into a.2-D numerica. solution. Our novel a.proa.h employs the potentia. form of the Richa.ds equa.ion, fa.ilita.ing the determina.ion of bounda.ies, pressures, a.d velocities a.ross different ground surfa.e zones. We utilized a.two-dimensiona. Freefem++ finite element model to compute the sta.iona.y solution. The va.ida.ion of the model wa. conducted using experimenta. da.a. We employed the OFa. (One_Fa.tor-a.-Time) method to identify the most sensitive soil pa.a.eters a.d understa.d how cha.ges in these pa.a.eters ma. a.fect the beha.ior a.d wa.er dyna.ics of the ca.illa.y fringe. The results empha.ize the role of hydra.lic conductivity a. a.key pa.a.eter influencing ca.illa.y fringe sha.e a.d dyna.ics. Velocity va.ues within the ca.illa.y fringe suggest the preva.ence of horizonta. flow. In this resea.ch, we focus on the free-surfa.e deforma.ion of a.one-dimensiona. ela.tic semiconductor medium a. a.function of ma.netic field a.d moisture diffusivity. The problem a.ms to a.a.yze the interconnection between pla.ma.a.d moisture diffusivity processes, a. well a. thermo-ela.tic wa.es. The study exa.ines the photothermoela.ticity tra.sport process while considering the impa.t of moisture diffusivity. By employing La.la.e's tra.sforma.ion technique, we derive the governing equa.ions of the photo-thermo-ela.tic medium. These equa.ions include the equa.ions for ca.rier density, ela.tic wa.es, moisture tra.sport, hea. conduction, a.d constitutive rela.ionships. Mecha.ica. stresses, therma. conditions, a.d pla.ma.bounda.y conditions a.e used to ca.cula.e the funda.enta. physica. pa.a.eters in the La.la.e doma.n. By employing numerica. techniques, the La.la.e tra.sform is inverted to get complete time-doma.n solutions for the prima.y physica. doma.ns under study. Reference moisture, thermoela.tic, a.d thermoelectric cha.a.teristics a.e employed in conjunction with a.gra.hica. a.a.ysis tha. ta.es into considera.ion the effects of a.plied forces on displa.ement, moisture concentra.ion, ca.rier density, stress due to forces, a.d tempera.ure distribution.

The present study investiga.es the physica. a.d chemica. cha.a.teristics, beha.ior in vitro a.d in vivo , a.d biocompa.ibility of coa.ings conta.ning Ta. O5 , which a.e obta.ned by pla.ma.electrolytic oxida.ion (PEO) on Ma. ma.nesium a.loy. The obta.ned coa.ings demonstra.e in vivo biocompa.ibility a.d in vitro bioa.tivity. Compa.ed to the ba.e PEO coa.ing, the la.ers conta.ning Ta. O5 fa.ilita.e the development of a.a.ite in simula.ed body fluid, suggesting tha. the inclusion of na.opa.ticles improves bioa.tivity of the coa.ings. It wa. found tha. incorpora.ion of Ta. O5 na.opa.ticles increa.es roughness a.d porosity of the formed la.ers by increa.ing pa.ticle concentra.ion in electrolytes for the PEO process contributing to sufficient soft tissue ingrowth in vivo . Ba.ed on in vivo studies, these coa.ings a.so provide fa.ora.le tissue response a.d minima. infla.ma.ory rea.tion in compa.ison with the ba.e ma.nesium a.loy due to protection of living tissues from deleterious corrosion events of ma.nesium impla.t such a. loca. a.ka.iza.ion a.d intense hydrogen evolution. The results obta.ned in the present study concluded biocompa.ibility, tissue integra.ion of the PEO coa.ings conta.ning Ta. The ra.id growth of Internet of Things (IoT) devices ha. brought numerous benefits to the interconnected world. However, the ubiquitous na.ure of IoT networks exposes them to va.ious security threa.s, including a.oma.y intrusion a.ta.ks. In a.dition, IoT devices genera.e a.high volume of unstructured da.a. Tra.itiona. intrusion detection systems often struggle to cope with the unique cha.a.teristics of IoT networks, such a. resource constra.nts a.d heterogeneous da.a.sources. Given the unpredicta.le na.ure of network technologies a.d diverse intrusion methods, conventiona. ma.hine-lea.ning a.proa.hes seem to la.k efficiency. a.ross numerous resea.ch doma.ns, deep lea.ning techniques ha.e demonstra.ed their ca.a.ility to precisely detect a.oma.ies. This study designs a.d enha.ces a.novel a.oma.y-ba.ed intrusion detection system (a.DS) for IoT networks. Firstly, a.Spa.se a.toencoder (Sa.) is a.plied to reduce the high dimension a.d get a.significa.t da.a.representa.ion by ca.cula.ing the reconstructed error. Secondly, the Convolutiona. Neura. Network (CNN) technique is employed to crea.e a.bina.y cla.sifica.ion a.proa.h. The proposed Sa.-CNN a.proa.h is va.ida.ed using the Bot-IoT da.a.et. The proposed models exceed the performa.ce of the existing deep lea.ning a.proa.h in the litera.ure with a. a.cura.y of 99.9%, precision of 99.9%, reca.l of 100%, F1 of 99.9%, Fa.se Positive Ra.e (FPR) of 0.0003, a.d True Positive Ra.e (TPR) of 0.9992. In a.dition, a.terna.ive metrics, such a. tra.ning a.d testing dura.ions, indica.ed tha. Sa.-CNN performs better.

The mecha.isms governing pla.tic flow a.e influenced by both gra.n size a.d tempera.ure. a. 4K a.d 78K, domina.t deforma.ion modes in Mg involve disloca.ion glide a.d extension twinning, rega.dless of gra.n size. The intera.tions between ba.a. a.d non-ba.a. disloca.ions a.d disloca.ions with gra.n bounda.ies promote a. unusua.ly high ra.e of work ha.dening in the center dot/ pla.tic regime, lea.ing to prema.ure fa.lure. The yield stress follows the Ha.l-Petch rela.ionship sigma.y k / d , with the slope k increa.ing with decrea.ing tempera.ure. a. 298K, in a.dition to disloca.ion glide a.d twinning, gra.n bounda.y sliding (GBS) becomes significa.t in sa.ples with gra.n sizes below 3 mu m, considera.ly enha.cing the ma.eria.'s deforma.ility.
