Monocytes migrate through vascular endothelium, and then in connective tissue. As a model of this process, we investigated adhesion molecules involved in monocyte migration through HUVEC and a barrier of human synovial flbroblasts (HSF) .Minimal spontaneous monocyte migration (6-7%) occurred through either cell barrier,but this increased markedly (27-35% of added monocytes) when a C5a chemotactic gradient was present. Migration across unstimulated HUVEC was partially inhibited (40%) by mAb to CD18 (beta2 integrin) and completely blocked by anti-CD18 plus anti-alpha4 (CD49d;very late Ag-4 (VLA-4)) *** contrast,migration across HSF induced by C5a or monocyte chemoattractant

Damages of power transformers are caused partly by construction setting but also by operation （i. e., due to operational and degradation parameters）. A long-term operation and exceeding of the limit values of transformer abbreviate the lifetime of this device very dramatically. A condition of insulating system oilpaper is principal diagnostic indicator that has its essential influence to failure-free operation of power transformers. The paper deals with a description of the experience with developed monitoring system, which is focused mainly on a control of oil filling of experimental transformer. Relative humidity, amount of dissolved gases and increased temperature are observed, as they have decisive influence on insulating system of transformer. Monitoring of these characteristics is completed with analysis of oil samples by infrared spectroscopy in mode of Attenuated Total Reflection technique.

A one metabolic-equivalent-of-task increase in peak aerobic fitness(peak MET)is associated with a clinically relevant improvement in survival risk and all-cause *** co-dependent impact of free-living physical behaviours on aerobic fitness are poorly *** purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of theoretically re-allocating time spent in physical behaviours on aerobic *** hypothesized that substituting sedentary time with any physical activity(at any intensity)would be associated with a predicted improvement in aerobic *** volume rate of oxygen uptake(VO_(2)peak)was assessed via indirect calorimetry during a progressive,maximal cycle ergometer protocol in 103 adults(52 females;[38±21]years;[25.0±3.8]kg/m^(2);VO_(2)peak:[35.4±11.5]ml⋅kg^(-1)⋅min^(-1)).Habitual sedentary time,standing time,light-(LPA),moderate-(MPA),and vigorous-physical activity(VPA)were assessed 24-h/day via thigh-worn inclinometry for up to one week(average:[6.3±0.9]days).Isotemporal substitution modelling examined the impact of replacing one physical behaviour with *** time(β=0.8,95%CI:[-1.3,-0.2])and standing time(β=0.9,95%CI:[-1.6,-0.2])were negatively associated with VO_(2)peak,whereas VPA was positively associated with relative VO_(2)peak(β=9.2,95%CI:[0.9,17.6]).Substituting 30-min/day of VPA with any other behaviour was associated with a 2.4–3.4 higher peak *** standing time was associated with a lower aerobic *** little as 10-min/day of VPA predicted a clinically relevant 0.8–1.1 peak MET ***,replacing any time with relatively small amounts of VPA is associated with improvements in aerobic fitness.

This paper summarizes recent data about magnesite and talc genesis in Carboniferous host rocks of Western Carpathians (Slovakia) , which occur in two distinct belts in tectonic superunit Veporicum and its contact zone with Gemericum. The northern Sinec magnesite and talc belt (with main deposits Kokava, Sinec, Samo, Hnust'a-Mutnik) contains economic accummulation of magnesite and talc, while in the southern Ochtina belt ( main deposits in Dubrava massif-Dubrava, Mikova, jedl'ovec; Lubenik, Ochtina, Kosice-Bankov, Banisko, Medvedia) the magnesite is *** magnesite genesis by successive replacement of Carboniferous calcite to dolomite and magnesite during metamorphic process Ml (northern belt 280-400℃; , southern belt 370-420℃: ; Radvanec & Prochaska, 2001; Kodera & Radvanec, 2002) , being supplied by Mg from Permoscythian evaporitic bittern brines, relates to Variscan post-collisional (post-VD) evolution. The extensional tectonics and the high heat flow facilitated the generation of a hydrothermal *** time-separated later metamorphic and sourcely different fluid flow event (M2; 1. c. ) produced talc. Tectonic, microtectonic, metamorphic and geochronological data relate the talc origin with the Alpine Upper Cretaceous (88-84 Ma; Maluski in Kovacik et al. , 1996) tectonothermal event AD2. This event, being the consequence of Alpine collisional ( AD1 ) crustal thickening and metamorphic core complex origin, meant regional extension and pervasive fluid flow of open system in crustal discontinuities. This process was prominent in the northern belt ( Sinec shear zone) located more closely to Veporic thermal dome, while towards its peripheral parts (southern Ochtina belt) the M2 metamorphic process and steatitization gradually *** from Sinec shear zone (being the prominent AD2 -AD3 structure of northern Sinec belt) , where the dolomite/magnesite lenses (replacement in M1) and their accompanying lithology were in AD1 sandwitched between more com

A recently developed method, on the bases of “multifractal spectrum” filters for mineral exploration, is introduced in this paper. The “multifractal spectrum” filters, a group of irregularly shaped filters that are constructed on each processed datum, can be used to separate various types of geochemical and geophysical anomalies. The basic model, with an emphasis on the GIS based implementation and the application to the geochemical and geophysical data processing for mineral exploration in southern nova Scotia, Canada, indicates its advantage in the separation of multiple anomalies from the background.

Some patients with chronic hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection failed to clear HBV,even persistently continue to produce antibodies to *** we performed a two stage genome wide association study in a cohort of Chinese patients designed to discover single nucleotide variants that associate with HBV infection and clearance of *** first stage involved genome wide exome sequencing of 101 cases(HBsAg plus anti-HBs positive)compared with 102 control patients(antiHBs positive,HBsAg negative).Over 80%of individual sequences displayed 209 sequence ***,uncertain bases[10%or low-quality base calls([50%)were filtered and compared to the human reference genome *** the second stage,579 chronic HBV infected cases and 439 HBV clearance controls were sequenced with selected genes from the first *** there were no significant associated gene variants in the first stage,two significant gene associations were discovered when the two stages were assessed in a combined *** association showed rs506121-“T”allele[within the dedicator of cytokinesis 8(DOCK8)gene]was higher in chronic HBV infection group than that in clearance group(P=0.002,OR=0.77,95%CI[0.65,0.91]).The second association involved rs2071676—A allele within the Carbonic anhydrase(CA9)gene that was significantly elevated in chronic HBV infection group compared to the clearance group(P=0.0003,OR=1.35,95%CI[1.15,1.58]).Upon replication these gene associations would suggest the influence of DOCK8 and CA9 as potential risk genetic factors in the persistence of HBV infection.

基于湖北7条奥陶-志留系界线剖面的野外和室内工作,并参考邻近地区的剖面资料,详细讨论了这一地区龙马溪组黑色笔石页岩的顶、底界线,并对其时空分布进行了深入研究.扬子区龙马溪组黑色笔石页岩跨越了奥陶系-志留系的界线,从奥陶系赫南特阶顶部的Normalograptus persculptus带至志留系特列奇阶最底部的Spirograptus guerichi带,共包含10个笔石带.扬子区龙马溪组黑色笔石页岩的顶、底界线都是穿时的,其底界从***带至Coronograptus cyphus带,共穿越了2个阶的5个笔石带;其顶界从Demirastrites pectinatus-Monograptus argenteus带到Spirograptus guerichi带,共穿越了2个阶的4个笔石带.受宜昌上升的影响,在湖北、湖南、重庆交界地区有一湘鄂水下高地.这一水下高地在赫南特期至鲁丹早期甚至更晚时间存在沉积缺失现象.通过对比晚奥陶世赫南特期和志留纪鲁丹早期该地区黑色笔石页岩的分布范围可以发现,从赫南特期至鲁丹早期,湘鄂水下隆起的影响范围逐渐收缩,这与赫南特冰期之后的全球冰川消融和海平面上升是一致的.
