End-user computing empowers non-developers to manage data and applications, enhancing collaboration and efficiency. Spreadsheets, a prime example of end-user programming environments widely used in business for data analysis. However, Excel functionalities have limits compared to dedicated programming languages. This paper addresses this gap by proposing a prototype for integrating Python’s capabilities into Excel through on-premises desktop to build custom spreadsheet functions with Python. This approach overcomes potential latency issues associated with cloud-based solutions. This prototype utilizes Excel-DNA and IronPython. Excel-DNA allows creating custom Python functions that seamlessly integrate with Excel’s calculation engine. IronPython enables the execution of these Python (CSFs) directly within Excel. C# and VSTO add-ins form the core components, facilitating communication between Python and Excel. This approach empowers users with a potentially open-ended set of Python (CSFs) for tasks like mathematical calculations, statistical analysis, and even predictive modeling, all within the familiar Excel interface. This prototype demonstrates smooth integration, allowing users to call Python (CSFs) just like standard Excel functions. This research contributes to enhancing spreadsheet capabilities for end-user programmers by leveraging Python’s power within Excel. Future research could explore expanding data analysis capabilities by expanding the (CSFs) functions for complex calculations, statistical analysis, data manipulation, and even external library integration. The possibility of integrating machine learning models through the (CSFs) functions within the familiar Excel environment.

microsoft Excel is essential for the End-User Approach (EUA), offering versatility in data organization, analysis, and visualization, as well as widespread accessibility. It fosters collaboration and informed decision-making across diverse domains. Conversely, Python is indispensable for professional programming due to its versatility, readability, extensive libraries, and robust community support. It enables efficient development, advanced data analysis, data mining, and automation, catering to diverse industries and applications. However, one primary issue when using microsoft Excel with Python libraries is compatibility and interoperability. While Excel is a widely used tool for data storage and analysis, it may not seamlessly integrate with Python libraries, leading to challenges in reading and writing data, especially in complex or large datasets. Additionally, manipulating Excel files with Python may not always preserve formatting or formulas accurately, potentially affecting data integrity. moreover, dependency on Excel’s graphical user interface (GUI) for automation can limit scalability and reproducibility compared to Python’s scripting capabilities. This paper covers the integration solution of empowering non-programmers to leverage Python’s capabilities within the familiar Excel environment. This enables users to perform advanced data analysis and automation tasks without requiring extensive programming knowledge. Based on Soliciting feedback from non-programmers who have tested the integration solution, the case study shows how the solution evaluates the ease of implementation, performance, and compatibility of Python with Excel versions.

BACKGROUND Current concepts of beauty are increasingly subjective,influenced by the viewpoints of *** aim of the study was to evaluate divergences in the perception of dental appearance and smile esthetics among patients,laypersons and dental *** study goals were to evaluate the influence of age,sex,education and dental specialty on the participants’judgment and to identify the values of different esthetic *** sample included 50 patients who responded to a dental appearance questionnaire(DAQ).Two frontal photographs were taken,one during a smile and one with retracted *** and dentists were asked to evaluate both photographs using a Linear Scale from(0-10),where 0 represent(absolutely unaesthetic)and 10 represent(absolutely aesthetic).One-way analysis of variance(ANOVA)and t-test analysis were measured for each *** patients in the sample expressed satisfaction with most aspects of their smiles and dental *** laypersons(including 488 participants),47 pictures“with lips”out of 50 had higher mean aesthetic scores compared to pictures“without lips”.Among the dentist sample,90 dentists’perception towards the esthetic smile and dental appearance for photos“with lips”and“without lips”were the same for 23 out of 50 *** of smile aesthetics differed between patients,laypersons and *** factors can contribute to shape the perception of smile *** To compare the perception of dental aesthetic among patients,laypersons,and professional dentists,to evaluate the impact of age,sex,educational background,and income on the judgments made by laypersons,to assess the variations in experience,specialty,age,and sex on professional dentists’judgment,and to evaluate the role of lips,skin shade and tooth shade in different participants’*** Patients sample included 50 patients who responded to *** frontal photographs were taken:one during a smile and one with retracted lip

The aim of this research project is to assess indirect water consumption,that represents the water consumed in the upstream part of the production life *** are provided for agriculture related companies,as agriculture represents 70%of water consumption on *** consumption varies greatly according to the countries where supply chain is *** estimation is attempted for 27 European listed companies in sectors relying on agriculture in its supply chain.A data is estimated for 22 companies,showing that indirect water consumption is much more important than direct *** questions raised through the estimation of indirect water consumption in various subsectors show the interest in this data,which represents the equivalent of Carbon Scope 3 for water issues.

现在,中国是世界上发展最快的市场之一,当然,这种巨大的增长潜力吸引了许多外国公司在中国做生意。这种跨国合作对发展中的市场非常有益,但同时也显现出自己的问题,如知识产权被盗用。因为产权保护方面的漏洞,跨国企业常常遇到产权问题,法律术语为:知识产权被侵犯。由于知识产权被侵犯,中国企业成为外资企业的一大顾虑,尤其是商标保护方面。本文的主要目的是介绍公司知识产权保护方法,主要是商标保护。因为中国拥有世界上四分之一的消费者,所以外国品牌的持有者必须小心地掌握如何在该国做生意并取得成功。本文的出发点在于假设在中国没有安全的商标秘密措施。本文拟从中国法律体系的角度分析这种现象的成因,通过回顾中国的知识产权保护法,作者认为中国这方面的法律和西方的法律相当一致,之所以知识产权被盗用主要是因为商标持有者知法犯法,以及相关合同的不严谨。同时,通过近几年发生在中国侵权行为的例子,作者集中讨论商标保护的重要性。通过分析这些例子,作者介绍了在华外资企业常见的几种商标保护方面的问题。同时,文章对司法保护商标的差异和文化差异进行了阐述。每个国家都有其特定的文化,中国的历史悠久,国人有自己的思维定势,商业也受其影响。外国人应该看整体形象,不忽视中国文化。本论文从合同的签订和激励员工这两方面为商标侵权提供解决方案。商标所有者在中国保护商标所面临的困难是多样的,这要求持有者改进保护措施,需要政府、司法系统和商标所有者之间的牢固合作。作者采用经济分析的方式,同时结合法律和经济学知识提出了一些解决方案。研究表明,尽管中国政府尽最大的努力通过改革法律法规和发展中国的商标保护工作,但很大部分侵权行为可以说是:知识产权人缺乏预防性保护,他们自己如果会理解中国的经济,文化和法律制度,那么这些侵权行为呢可能会比较少见。

Recently,multicore systems use Dynamic Voltage/Frequency Scaling(DV/FS)technology to allow the cores to operate with various voltage and/or frequencies than other cores to save power and enhance the *** this paper,an effective and reliable hybridmodel to reduce the energy and makespan in multicore systems is *** proposed hybrid model enhances and integrates the greedy approach with dynamic programming to achieve optimal Voltage/Frequency(Vmin/F)***,the allocation process is applied based on the *** hybrid model consists of three *** first stage gets the optimum safe voltage while the second stage sets the level of energy efficiency,and finally,the third is the allocation *** results on various benchmarks show that the proposed model can generate optimal solutions to save energy while minimizing the makespan *** with other competitive algorithms show that the proposed model provides on average 48%improvements in energy-saving and achieves an 18%reduction in computation time while ensuring a high degree of system reliability.
