We analyze the blood flow through a tapered artery, assuming the blood to be a second order fluid model. The resulting nonlinear implicit system of partial differential equations is solved by the perturbation method. The expressions for shear stress, velocity, flow rate, wall shear stress and longitudinal impedance are obtained. The physical behavior of different parameters is also discussed, as are trapping phenomena.

The present study inspects the non-aligned stagnation point nano fluid over a convective surface in the presence of partial slip. Two types of base fluids namely water and kerosene are selected with Cu nanoparticles. The governing physical problem is presented and transformed into a system of coupled nonlinear differential equations using suitable similarity transformations. These equations are then solved numerically using midpoint integration scheme along with richardson extrapolation via Maple. Impact of relevant physical parameters on the dimensionless velocity and temperature profiles are portrayed through graphs. Physical quantities such as local skin frictions co-efficient and Nusselt numbers are *** is detected from numerical computations that kerosene-based nano fluids have better heat trans.er capability compared with water-based nanofluids. Moreover it is found that water-based nanofluids offer less resistance in terms of skin friction than kerosene-based fluid. In order to authenticate our present study, the calculated results are compared with the prevailing literature and a considerable agreement is perceived for the limiting case.

In the present investigation we have studied the peristaltic flow of a nanofluid in an endoscope. The flow is investigated in a wave frame of reference moving with velocity of the wave c. Analytical solutions have been calculated using Homotopy perturbation method （HPM） for temperature and nanoparticle equation while exact solutions have been calculated for velocity and pressure gradient. Numerical integration have been used to obtain the graphical results for pressure rise and frictional forces. The effects of various emerging parameters are investigated for five different peristaltic waves. streamlines have been plotted at the end of the article.

Non-Newtonian fluid model for blood flow through a tapered artery with a stenosis and variable viscosity by modeling blood as Jeffrey fluid has been studied in this paper. The Jeffrey fluid has two parameters, the relaxation time A1 and retardation time A2. The governing equations are simplified using the case of mild stenosis. Perturbation method is used to solve the resulting equations. The effects of non-Newtonian nature of blood on velocity profile, temperature profile, wall shear stress, shearing stress at the stenotsis throat and impedance of the artery are discussed. The results for Newtonian fluid are obtained as special case from this model.

In the present article, peristaltic transport of copper nano fluid in a curved channel with complaint walls is studied. shape effects of nanosize particles are discussed. The mathematical formulation encompasses momentum and heat conservation equations with appropriate boundary conditions for compliant wails. sophisticated correlations are employed for thermal conductivity of the nanoparticles. The nonlinear boundary value problem is normalized with appropriate variables and closed-form solutions are derived for stream function, pressure gradient and temperature profile. A detailed study is performed for the influence of various nanoparticle geometries （bricks, cylinders and platelets）. With greater curvature value, pressure gradient is enhanced for various nanoparticle geometries. Temperature is dramatically modified with nanoparticle geometry and greater thermal conductivity is achieved with brick shaped nanoparticles in the fluid.

In the present paper, we have studied the blood flow through tapered artery with a stenosis. The non-Newtonian nature of blood in small arteries is analyzed mathematically by considering the blood as Phan-Thien-Tanner fluid. The representation for the blood flow is through an axially non-symmetrical but radially symmetric stenosis. symmetry of the distribution of the wall shearing stress and resistive impedance and their growth with the developing stenosis is another important feature of our analysis. Exact solutions have been evaluated for velocity, resistance impedance, wall shear stress and shearing stress at the stenosis throat. The graphical results of different type of tapered arteries （i.e. converging tapering, diverging tapering, non-tapered artery） have been examined for different narameters of interest.

The peristaltic flow of a Johnson-segalman fluid in a planar channel is investigated in an induced magnetic field with the slip condition. The symmetric nature of the flow in a channel is utilized. The velocity slip condition in terms of shear stresses is considered. The mathematical formulation is presented, and the equations are solved under long wavelength and low reynolds number approximations. The perturbation solutions are established for the pressure, the axial velocity, the micro-rotation component, the stream function, the magnetic-force function, the axial induced magnetic field, and the current distribution across the channel. The solution expressions for small Weissenberg numbers are derived. The flow quantities of interest are sketched and analyzed.
