Radiative Blood-Based Hybrid Copper-Graphene Nanoliquid Flows along a Source-Heated Leaning Cylinder

Variant graphene,graphene oxides(GO),and graphene nanoplatelets(GNP)dispersed in blood-based copper(Cu)nanoliquids over a leaning permeable cylinder are the focus of this *** forms of graphene are highly beneficial in the biological and medical fields for cancer therapy,anti-infection measures,and drug *** non-Newtonian Sutterby(blood-based)hybrid nanoliquid flows are generalized within the context of the Tiwari-Das model to simulate the effects of radiation and heating *** governing partial differential equations are reformulated into a nonlinear set of ordinary differential equations using similar transformational *** equations are then transformed into boundary value problems through a shooting technique,followed by the implementation of the bvp4c tool in *** influences of various parameters on the model’s nondimensional velocity and temperature profiles,reduced skin friction,and reduced Nusselt number are presented for detailed *** results indicated that Cu-GNP/blood and Cu-GO/blood hybrid nanofluids exhibit the lowest and highest velocity distributions,respectively,for increased nanoparticles volume fraction,curvature parameter,Sutterby fluid parameter,Hartmann number,and wall permeability ***,opposite trends are observed for the temperature distribution for all considered parameters,except the mixed convection *** in the reduced skin friction magnitude and the reduced Nusselt number with higher values of graphene/GO/GNP nanoparticle volume fraction are also ***,GNP is identified as the superior heat conductor,with an average increase of approximately 5%and a peak of 7.8%in the reduced Nusselt number compared to graphene and GO nanoparticles in the Cu/blood nanofluids.

The present study investigates the axisymmetric stagnation point radiativeflow of a Cu-Al2O3/water hybrid nanofluid over a radially stretched/shrunk *** this paper,a new mathematical model has been developed by taking into consideration the concept of different nanoparticles concentration in a hybrid nanofluid,which are Brownian motion and thermophor-esis of nanoparticles.A new model for entropy generation has also been provided in the present *** non-dimensional governing equations of the developed mathematical model are solved using newly developed and efficient overlapping grid spectral collocation *** stability and residual error test are provided here to show the accuracy of the numer-ical method in this mathematical *** outcomes offluidflow,temperature,and two different types of concentration profiles are depicted,and described in graphical and tabular *** the limiting instances,comparison shows excellent agreement among current and results established in the *** the strength of magneticfield is seen to increase the radial component offluid velocity as well as the entropy generated within the *** different nanofluid concentration profiles are increasing and decreasing with rising thermophor-esis and Brownian motion parameters,respectively,from a particular height above the disk because of the revised nanofluid boundary *** profile increases here with increasing Biot number,and increasing Brinkman number causes higher entropy generation number for both stretching and shrinking *** enhanced thermal characteristics of the hybrid nanofluid over the single particle nanofluid has been observed.

The paper explores a framework combining remote sensing and GIS-cellular automata(CA)concepts aimed at improving the modeling of unauthorized land use *** sensing data have been used in urban modeling and analysis,the use of high-resolution remote sensing data in assessing unauthorized development is quite *** work has demonstrated systematic combination utilization of geospatial analyses tools to acquire a new level of information to enable urban modeling and sprawl analysis in assisting urban sustainable *** this study,Kuantan city,Malaysia was selected in simulation of the unauthorized land use with CA concept for a period of 15 years(20002015),with main input time-series land use observation from 1995 to *** 2000 and 2005 land use input was also used as calibrated and test assessment of the *** results show excellent agreement between in-situ changes of the unauthorized land use classes and the corresponding simulated classes within the same *** conclusion,CA model can lead to new levels of understanding of how urban areas grow and change as in view of digital earth aspiration.

Development of niobium-promoted cobalt catalysts on carbon nanotubes for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis

Cobalt-based catalysts were prepared by a wet impregnation method on carbon nanotubes （CNTs） support and promoted with *** were characterized by nitrogen adsorption,TEM,XRD,TPR,TPO and *** of niobium increased the dispersion of cobalt but decreased the catalysts ***-Tropsch synthesis （FTS） was carried out in a fixed-bed microreactor at 543 K,1 atm and H2/CO=2 for 5 *** of niobium enhanced the C5＋ hydrocarbons selectivity by 39% and reduced methane selectivity by 59%.These effects were more pronounced for 0.04%Nb/Co/CNTs catalyst,compared with those observed for other niobium compositions.

Synthesis and characterization of niobium-promoted cobalt/iron catalysts supported on carbon nanotubes for the hydrogenation of carbon monoxide

Bimetallic Co /Fe catalysts supported on carbon nanotubes( CNTs) were prepared,and niobium( Nb) was added as promoter to the 70 Co ∶30Fe /CNT catalyst. The physicochemical properties of the catalysts were characterized,and the catalytic performances were analyzed at the same operation conditions( H_2 ∶CO( volume ratio) = 2 ∶1,p = 1 MPa,and t = 260 ℃) in a tubular fixed-bed microreactor system. The addition of Nb to the bimetallic catalyst decreases the average size of the oxide nanoparticles and improves the reducibility of the bimetallic catalyst. Evaluation of the catalyst performance in a Fischer-Tropsch reaction shows that the catalyst results in high selectivity to methane,and the selectivity to C_(5+) increased slightly in the bimetallic catalyst unlike that in the monometallic catalysts. The addition of 1% Nb to the bimetallic catalyst increases CO conversion and selectivity to C_(5+). Meanwhile,a decrease in methane selectivity is observed.

Effect of Synthesis Technique and Carbonate Content on the Crystallinity and Morphology of Carbonated Hydroxyapatite

The syntheses of nanosized carbonated hydroxyapatite （CHA） were performed by comparing dropwise and direct pouring of acetone solution of Ca（NO3）2·4H2O into mixture of （NH4）2HPO4 and NH4HCO3 at room temperature controlled at pH 11. Direct pouring method was later applied to study the increment of carbonate content in syntheses. The as-synthesized powders were characterized by various characterization techniques. The crystallographic results of the produced powders were obtained from X-ray diffraction analysis, whilst the carbonate content in the produced powders was determined by the CHNS/O elemental analyzer. Fourier transform infrared analysis confirmed that the CHA powders formed were B-type. Field emission scanning electron microscopy revealed that the powders were highly agglomerated in nanosized range and hence energy filtered transmission electron microscopy was employed to show elongated particles which decreased with increasing carbonate content.

Novel Nano Structure for Green Energy Harvesting at 10μm Thermal Radiation

In recent years, the potential of renewable green energy sources has been extensively studied. The proven technology which is photovoltaic solar cells strictly depends on daylight and produces low-efficiently. To overcome the restrictions, one technology studied is through harvesting the thermal radiation energy which can provide a 24-hour energy source. The continuity of energy sources promises very good energy conversion especially for military applications. This article presents a new structure that can harvest the abundant thermal radiation energy into usable energy at the wavelength of l0 lum. A rectangular structure with a perturbation slit was designed to integrate with a rectifier circuit for green energy conversion. The slit tunnel junction guided the electromagnetic field into a junction where the energy could be collected and converted. An enhancement factor of approximately 110.6 can be achieved by a perturbation slit length of 1.0 μm. The results extracted from the proposed design promise a better candidate to overcome the disadvantages of photovoltaic solar cells for energy harvesting devices.

Purpose–This study aims to develop a cause-effect relationship between criteria that contribute to water security using the Intuitionistic Fuzzy-Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory(IF-DEMATEL)*** from the typical DEMATEL which utilizes crisp numbers,this modification introduces intuitionistic fuzzy numbers(IFNs)to enhance judgments in a group decision-making *** particular,the linguistic variables used in IF-DEMATEL are defined using the concept of three-tuple of ***/methodology/approach–Data with the linguistic variable“influence”were collected from a group of experts in water security via personalunstructured *** water security criteria are considered in this *** software was employed to execute the computational procedures of the IF-DEMATEL *** is anticipated that by taking into account the hesitation degree of IFNs will reflect the scenario in real life,which could lead to precise ***–Theresultsshowthat“Over-Abstraction”,“SaltwaterIntrusion”and“LimitedInfrastructures”are the cause criteria that contribute to water *** addition,the relationship map of influence shows that“Water Pollution”and“Rapid Urbanization”are the most vulnerable criteria as these two criteria are most easily affected by other criteria in a unidirectional ***–It is anticipated that these findings will serve as useful references for water security management and ***/value–The present study makes a noteworthy contribution to the modification of DEMATEL where three-tuple of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers are considered in the *** present study also provides additional evidence with respect to factors that contribute to water security.
