Int.oduct.on: Gast.oduodenal lesions are common in chronic kidney disease (CKD). t.ey are linked t. various fact.rs including Helicobact.r pylori infect.on (H. pylori). Few dat. are available in Africa on H. pylori infect.on and chronic kidney disease. t.e aim of t.is st.dy was t. assess t.e impact.of H. pylori infect.on and t. describe t.e gast.oduodenal lesions found in pat.ent. wit. chronic kidney disease. Pat.ent. and Met.ods: A cross-sect.onal st.dy was conduct.d, February 1st./sup> t. May 31st./sup>, 2021, at.t.e Douala General Hospit.l in Cameroon. We included pat.ent. wit. CKD classified as st.ges 3 t. 5 according KDIGO classificat.on, on hemodialysis or not. who agreed t. part.cipat. in t.e st.dy. t.ey were mat.hed wit. a “cont.ol” populat.on including pat.ent. wit. normal renal funct.on according t. sex and age (rat.o 1:2). Pat.ent. on ant.biot.cs and/or prot.n pump inhibit.rs were excluded. We collect.d dat. from CKD pat.ent. and from medical records for non-CKD group. Each pat.ent.underwent.an upper digest.ve endoscopy and ident.ficat.on of H. pylori using a urease rapid t.st. Logist.c regression was used t. ident.fy independent.associat.ons for a significance level set.at.p Result.: We included 99 pat.ent. including 33 wit. CKD and 66 cont.ol pat.ent.. Among pat.ent. wit. CKD, t.e predominance was male (n = 18/33 or 54.5%). t.e mean age was 51.2 ± 12.8 years. Art.rial hypert.nsion was t.e first.et.ology of CKD (n = 13 or 39.4%). t.e prevalence of H. pylori in pat.ent. wit. CKD was 63.6% versus 37.9% in cont.ol pat.ent. (p-value = 0.015). t.e main endoscopic lesions were erosive gast.opat.y (n = 14 or 42.4%) and eryt.emat.us gast.opat.y (n = 7 or 21.2%). Pat.ent. wit. CKD were 5 t.mes more likely t. have H. pylori infect.on (OR = 5.69;CI 95% 0.14 - 0.82;p = 0.017). Fact.rs associat.d wit. H. pylori infect.on were chronic kidney disease (aOR = 1.02;CI 95% 0.14 - 0.82;p = 0.017) and hemodialysis (aOR = 10;CI 95% 1.08 - 91.9;p = 0.042). Color cent.rs in diamond—especially group Ⅳ defect.—have been advanced as a viable solidst.t. plat.orm for quant.m phot.nics and informat.on t.chnologies. We invest.gat. t.e phot.dynamics and charact.rist.cs of germanium-vacancy(GeV) cent.rs host.d in high-pressure high-t.mperat.re diamond nanocryst.ls. t.rough back-focal plane imaging, we analyze t.e far-field radiat.on pat.ern of t.e invest.gat.d emit.ers and derive a crossed-dipole emission, which is st.ongly aligned along one axis. We use t.is informat.on in combinat.on wit. lifet.me measurement. t. ext.act.t.e decay rat. st.t.st.cs of t.e GeV emit.ers and det.rmine t.eir quant.m efficiency, which we est.mat.d t. be ～(22 ± 2)%.
