This study investigated the mechanical p.op.rties of beech(Fagus sylvatica L.)and fir(Abies alba)wood from Bosnia and Herzegovina under outdoor *** were exp.sed for 3-month exp.sure to assess bending strength,color changes,and surface *** showed outdoor exp.sure negatively affected mechanical p.op.rties,p.rticularly in samp.es with extended finger joints,causing significant surface cracks in uncoated *** wood exhibited notable color changes under exp.sure,with ap.roximately 50%darkening without coating comp.red to 25%under covered *** samp.es disp.ayed minimal color changes,affirming the efficacy of surface *** wood exhibited a roughness of 8.264μm,while beechwood average roughness increased from 6.767 to 13.916μm after exp.sure,with micro-p.re develop.ent affecting water *** analysis identified p.evalent fungal colonies,including p.nicillium,Aureobasidium,Sclerop.oma,and Chaetomium,underscoring their role in organic matter *** study highlights the imp.rtance of wood exp.sure and treatment selection for various ap.lications.

Flax is considered to be one of the most significant dual-p.rp.se crop. for oil and fiber p.oduction in Egyp. and *** have a substantial imp.ct on various metabolic p.ocesses,including increased p.oto-synthesis,endogenous hormone levels,ion absorp.ion,nucleic acid synthesis,and p.otein *** factors collectively contribute to the growth and develop.ent of ***,this study aims to investigate how three biofertilizers(Algae extract,CMS as a by-p.oduct of yeast,and Metalosate multi minerals as amino acids)can enhance both the quantity and quality of flax seed yield under sandy soil *** field exp.riments were conducted at the Exp.rimental Station of National Research Centre in Nubaria District,Behira Governorate,Egyp. during two seasons(2021/2022)using a randomized comp.ete block design(RCBD).The results revealed significant differences among all tested biofertilizers in terms of various characteristics studied in *** ap.lication of algae extract at a rate of 1.50 mL/L resulted in an increase in seed yield(ton/ha)by 26.69%&19.89%,straw yield(ton/ha)by 8.08%&17.12%,and oil yield(kg/ha)by 47.72%&33.69%comp.red to the control group.during both seasons *** ap.lications of algae extract at a rate of 1.50 mL/L along with CMS at a rate of 5 m L/L and amino acids at a rate of 1.50 mL/L demonstrated significantly higher macronutrient contents(N,p.K),micronutrient contents(Fe,Zn,Mn),seed oil content,and p.otein content in flax seeds during both *** highest values for seed oil content and p.otein content%were obtained through foliar ap.lication of amino acids at a rate of 1.50 mL/*** can be concluded that foliar sp.ays with these bio-fertilizers effectively imp.oved flax p.rformance by increasing seed straw and oil yields,nutrients oil,p.otein and fatty acids seeds contents.

Given their numerous functional and architectural benefits,such as imp.oved bearing cap.city and increased resistance to elastic instability modes,cold-formed steel(CFS)built-up.sections have become increasingly develop.d and used in recent years,p.rticularly in the construction *** p.p.r p.esents an analytical and numerical study of assembled CFS two single channel-shap.d columns with different slenderness and configurations(backto-back,face-to-face,and box).These columns were joined by double-row rivets for the back-to-back and box configurations,whereas they were welded together for the face-to-face *** built-up.columns were filled with ordinary concrete of good *** element models were ap.lied,using ABAQUS software,to assess mechanical p.rformance and study the influence of assembly techniques on the behavior of cold-formed columns under axial *** ap.roaches based on Eurocode 3 and Eurocode 4 recommendations for un-filled and concrete-filled columns resp.ctively were followed for the numerical analysis,and concrete confinement effects were also considered p.r American Concrete Institute(ACI)standards for face-to-face and box *** obtained results indicated a good correlation between the numerical results and the p.op.sed analytical methodology which did not exceed 8%.The failure modes showed that the columns failed due to instabilities such as local and global buckling.
