In many ways,cancer cells are different from healthy cells.A lot of tactical nano-based drug delivery systems are based on the difference between cancer and healthy ***,nanotechnology-based delivery systems are the most promising tool to deliver DNA-based products to cancer *** review aims to highlight the latest development in the lipids and polymeric nanocarrier for siRNA delivery to the cancer *** also provides the necessary information about siRNA development and its mechanism of ***,this review gives us a clear picture of lipid and polymer-based drug delivery systems,which in the future could form the base to translate the basic siRNA biology into siRNA-based cancer therapies.

采用一种新的方法,将Y2O3稳定的ZrO2前驱体溶液雾化注入直流等离子体中直接制备热障涂层.扫描电镜、透射电镜、X射线衍射分析、激光闪烁法分别观察分析了涂层的显微组织、纳米晶粒、相结构和热导率,排水法、冷热冲击法分别检测了涂层密度和热循环性能.实验结果显示:等离子体喷涂液体制备出来的热障涂层不具有层状组织,晶粒尺寸小于100nm,组成相为四方相,硬度为350左右,热导率在1.2～1.5 W/m·K范围,涂层中存在16%左右的孔隙率,具有比常规微米结构热障涂层更优越的热循环性能.分析结果表明:液体注入热等离子体中的雾化沉积既区别于物理化学气相沉积,又区别于粉末注入热等离子体中的熔化沉积,属于表面工程技术下的交叉领域.

Structural Inversion and Behavioural Changes as a Function of Composition in Sr-La-Al-B-Si Based Glasses

A series of glass sealants for solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) with compositions SrO (x wt %) La2O3 (15 wt %) Al2O3 (15 wt %) B2O3 (40-x wt %) SiO2 (30 wt %) [x = 10, 15, 20, 25 & 30] [SLABS] have been investigated by quantitative Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). Structural findings from FTIR reveal that with increasing substitu-tion of B2O3 by SrO, even though the B2O3/SiO2 ratio decreases, however the Si-O- non-bridging bond content in the matrix is increasing and glass structure is getting more inverted. UV-Vis Diffused Reflectance Spectroscopy (UV-Vis-DRS) of the glass series shows that electrical band gap of glasses decreases in the series from 3.07eV to 2.97eV with increasing substitution from x = 10 to x = 30. Conductivities of the glass samples were measured by AC impedance spectroscopy and found to be increasing from 2.74 × 10-5 Scm-1 to 1.09 × 10-4 Scm-1 with increasing substitution from x =10 to x = 30.

A New and Enantioselective Chromatographic method for Linagliptin on Amylose Coated Chiral Stationary Phase

A new and enantioselective liquid chromatographic method was developed for estimation of S-Linagliptin in Linagliptin (LINA) drug substances. The desired enantiomeric separation was achieved on Chiralpak AD-H (250*4.6 mm*5 μm) column with the mobile phase composition of ethanol, methanol and diethylamine in a ratio of 90:10:0.1 (v/v/v) with flow rate of 0.5 mL·min-1 and column oven temperature 30°C and the eluted compounds were monitored at 225 nm. In the proposed chiral method, USP resolutions between both the enantiomers were more than 5.0. Limit of detection and Limit of quantitation of S-LINA was found to be 0.03 μg·mL-1 and 0.10 μg·mL-1 respectively. Linearity study was conducted from LOQ to 150% and correlation coefficient found to be 0.9997. Accuracy was within the range of 98.6% to 101.5%. To prove selectivity power of the method specificity study was conducted by subjecting drug substance to acid, base, hydrolysis, oxidation and photolysis and ensured the peak purity of analyte in degraded samples. moreover, the method has been fully validated as per ICH guidelines. The proposed method is precise, accurate, linear, rugged, robust and suitable for accurate quantification of S-LINA in LINA drug substance.

Importance: This post-marketing surveillance study was conducted to evaluate real-world information about the efficacy and safety of oral Tinefcon? tablets (Sphaeranthus indicus based) in plaque psoriasis patients. materials and methods: Patients aged at least 18 years and older with clinical diagnosis of plaque psoriasis, were enrolled in this open label, non-comparative, multicenter trial. All eligible subjects received four 700 mg Tinefcon? tablets/day for 12 weeks. The primary outcome measure was percent change in Psoriasis Area Severity Index (PASI) score from baseline to week 12. The secondary outcome measures were Physician Global Assessment (PGA), Nail Psoriasis Severity Index (NAPSI), Psoriatic Arthritis Evaluation and Gene Expression Profiling and Immunohistochemistry. Results: After completion of Tinefcon? treatment at 12 weeks, more than half of subjects (52%) achieved PASI 50 response;PASI 75 response was attained in 68 (23%) subjects and PASI 90 response in 22 (7%) subjects. Five subjects with severe psoriasis achieved PASI 90 without receiving any concomitant medication. Reduction in severity as assessed by PGA was observed in more than half of patients with moderate disease. Histopathological evaluation revealed that epidermal thickness was considerably reduced in 66% of subjects. The expression of inflammatory marker S100A9 protein was(meaningfully reduced in 60% patients with non-significant reduction of Keratin 10 protein expression. Gene expression analysis showed increase down regulation of SERPINB4;PI3 and KRT16 genes after a 12-week treatment period in subjects with higher PASI scores. Conclusion: Oral Tinefcon? tablets showed good efficacy and had a favorable safety profile in plaque psoriasis patients.
