Effect of rare earth Nd^(3+)doping contents on physical,structural,and magnetic properties of Co-Ni spinel ferrite nanoparticles

Rare earth(RE)low doping has a significant influence on the structural,morphological,and magnetic properties of spinel ferrite ***,rare earth neodymium(Nd)oxide was fully doped into spinel ferrite with a composition of Co_(0.80)Ni_(0.20)Nd_xFe_(2-x)O_4(x=0.0,0.05,0.10,and 0.15)using the sol-gel auto combustion *** analysis of the synthesized samples with low doping of Nd using X-ray diffraction(XRD)and Rietveld refinements reveals a pure single-phase cubic structure,while the second phase appears with increasing content of Nd^(3+)at x=0.10 and *** electron microscopy(SEm)and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HR-TEm)show well-shaped spherical grains within the nanometer range of the pure Co_(0.80)Ni_(0.20)Fe_(2)O_(4) sample,while larger grains with the presence of agglomeration are observed with doping of Nd^(3+)into the spinel ferrite *** magnetic parameters,i.e.,saturation magnetization m_s,remanence and magnetic moments exhibit decreasing trend with Nd^(3+)doping and m_s values are in 65.69 to 53.34 emu/g *** coercivity of the Nd-doped Co-Ni spinel ferrite sample was calculated to be 1037.76 to~827.24 *** work demonstrates remarkable improvements in the structural and magnetic characteristics of Nddoped Co-Ni spinel ferrite nanoparticles for multiple versatile applications.

Anomaly detection in Hyperspectral Imagery(HSI)has received considerable attention because of its potential application in several *** anomaly detection algorithms for HSI have been proposed in the literature;however,due to the use of different datasets in previous studies,an extensive performance comparison of these algorithms is *** this paper,an overview of the current state of research in hyperspectral anomaly detection is presented by broadly dividing all the previously proposed algorithms into eight different *** addition,this paper presents the most comprehensive comparative analysis to-date in hyperspectral anomaly detection by evaluating 22 algorithms on 17 different publicly available *** indicate that attribute and edge-preserving filtering-based detection(AED),local summation anomaly detection based on collaborative representation and inverse distance weight(LSAD-CR-IDW)and local summation unsupervised nearest regularized subspace with an outlier removal anomaly detector(LSUNRSORAD)perform better as indicated by the mean and median values of area under the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)***,this paper studies the effect of various dimensionality reduction techniques on anomaly *** indicate that reducing the number of components to around 20 improves the performance;however,any further decrease deteriorates the performance.

Enhancing secrecy rates in a wiretap channel

Reliable communication imposes an upper limit on the achievable rate,namely the Shannon ***'s wiretap coding ensures a security constraint and reliability,but results in a decrease of achievable *** mitigate the loss in secrecy rate,we propose a coding scheme in which we use sufficiently old messages as key and prove that multiple messages are secure with respect to all the information possessed by the *** also show that we can achieve security in the strong ***,we study a fading wiretap channel with full channel state information of the eavesdropper's channel and use our coding/decoding scheme to achieve a secrecy capacity close to the Shannon capacity of the main channel(in the ergodic sense).Finally,we study a case where the transmitter does not have instantaneous information of the channel state of the eavesdropper,but only its distribution.

New Schiff base polymers poly[4,4＇-methylenebis（cinnamaldehyde）ethylenediimine] （PmBCen）, poly[4,4＇- methylenebis（cinnamaldehyde）1,2-propylenediimine] （PmBCPn）, poly[4,4＇-methylenebis（cinnamaldehyde）1,3-propylenediimine] （PmBCPR）, poly[4,4＇-methylenebis（cinnamaldehyde） 1,2-phenylenediimine] （PmBCPh）, poly[4,4＇-methylenebis（cinnamaldehyde）meso-stilbenediimine] （PmBCS）, poly[4,4＇-methylenebis（cinnamaldehyde）urea] （PmBCUR）, poly[4,4＇- methylenebis（cinnamaldehyde）semicarbazone] （PmBCSc）, poly[4,4＇-methylenebis（cinnamaldehyde）thiosemicarbazone] （PmBCTSc） and poly[4,4＇-methylenebis（cinnamaldehyde）hydrazone] （PmBCH） were formed by polycondensation of 4,4＇- methylenebis（cinnamaldehyde） with ethylenediamine, 1,2-propylenediamine, 1,3-propylenediamine, 1,2-phenylenediamine, meso-stilbenediamine, urea, semicarbazide, thiosemicarbazide and hydrazine, respectively. The dialdehyde and polymers have been characterized through elemental micro-analysis, IR, UV-Vis and ^1H-NmR spectroscopic techniques. Thermoanalytical studies and viscous flow of dilute solutions of dialdehyde and its polymers have been examined and compared.

Structural,Dielectric and Complex Impedance Spectroscopy Studies of Lead Free Ca_(0.5+x)Nd_(0.5-x)(Ti_(0.5)Fe_(0.5))O_3

Structural and various electrical properties of polycrystalline Ca0.5＋xNd0,5-x（Ti0.5Fe0.5）O3, prepared by standard solid state reaction technique, were studied. Formation of single phase orthorhombic structure of the compositions was confirmed by X-ray diffraction study. The composition dependence of lattice parameters, density and microstructural study show that they vary significantly with Ca content. The dielectric measurements were carried out at room temperature as function of frequency and composition. The experimental results reveal that the dielectric constant （ε′） increases with increasing Ca content. Similar behavior is observed for the dielectric loss （tanδ） and ac conductivity （σac）. In complex impedance analysis it is observed that the real part （Z′） vs imaginary part （Z″） graph exhibits a tendency of formation of a single semicircular arc for each composition of samples. Different parameters were determined by fitting the experimental data in Cole-Cole empirical formula. A dominance of grain boundary resistance （Rgb） is observed. The Rgb decreases with increasing Ca content. The high ε′ observed in present samples are suitable for fabrication of devices.

Evolution of Coulomb failure stress in Sulaiman Lobe,Pakistan,and its implications for seismic hazard assessment

In this research work,we present the evolution of Coulomb failure stress(CFS)in the Sulaiman Lobe and its implications for seismic hazard *** Chaman transform fault,~1,000 km long,is the major active fault that marks the western boundary between Pakistan and Afghanistan on the Indian *** date,few studies have been conducted to unveil the interactions among earthquakes and the implications of these interactions for seismic hazard assessment in the *** thoroughly investigated the published and online catalog to construct a sequence of major earthquakes that occurred in this region during the *** final earthquake sequence was composed of 15 earthquakes of m_(w)≥6.0,beginning with the 1888 *** used the stress-triggering theory to numerically simulate the evolution of CFS caused by these *** numerical results revealed that 8 out of 15earthquakes were triggered by the preceding *** earthquakes in 1908,1910,1935,1966,and 1997 were rather independent earthquakes in this *** the epicenters of the 1975a and 1975b earthquakes were in the stress shadow zone,the partial rupture segments of both these earthquakes were in high-CFS *** CFS induced by the 1935 earthquake was notable,as it later triggered the 2008 ***,our results revealed that the northern segment of the Chaman Fault,the southern segment of the Ghazaband Fault,and the northwestern segment of the Urghargai Fault demonstrated a high change in CFS that could trigger seismicity in these *** necessary arrangements must therefore be made to mitigate any possible seismic hazards in the region.

Influence of Lanthanum on the microstructural and Dielectric Properties of Polycrystalline Ba(Ti0.5Fe0.5)O3

Various polycrystalline Ba1-x Lax (Ti0.5 Fe0.5 )O3 are prepared by using the standard solid state reaction *** shaped samples prepared from each composition are sintered at 1200℃ for 5 h.X-ray diffraction patterns of these compositions confirm the formation of a single phase perovskite *** lattice parameters are decreased but the average grain size increases with the increase of La *** dielectric constant,dielectric loss and ac conductivity are studied as a function of frequency for various compositions,and their behaviors are explained on the basis of the maxwell-Wagner model A three-times enhancement of the dielectric constant is observed with the increase of La content.

Osteoarthritis(OA)is one of the most common chronic diseases in the ***,current treatment modalities mainly relieve pain and inhibit cartilage degradation,but do not promote cartilage *** this study,we show that G protein-coupled receptor class C group 5 member B(GPRC5B),an orphan G-protein-couple receptor,not only inhibits cartilage degradation,but also increases cartilage regeneration and thereby is protective against *** observed that Gprc5b deficient chondrocytes had an upregulation of cartilage catabolic gene expression,along with downregulation of anabolic genes in ***,mice deficient in Gprc5b displayed a more severe OA phenotype in the destabilization of the medial meniscus(Dmm)induced OA mouse model,with upregulation of cartilage catabolic factors and downregulation of anabolic factors,consistent with our in vitro *** of Gprc5b by lentiviral vectors alleviated the cartilage degeneration in Dmm-induced OA mouse model by inhibiting cartilage degradation and promoting *** also assessed the molecular mechanisms downstream of Gprc5b that may mediate these observed effects and identify the role of protein kinase B(AKT)-mammalian target of rapamycin(m TOR)-autophagy signaling ***,we demonstrate an integral role of GPRC5B in OA pathogenesis,and activation of GPRC5B has the potential in preventing the progression of OA.

Dissolution behavior of bioactive glass ceramics with different CaO/mgO ratios in SBF-K9 and r-SBF

In the present work,we studied dissolution behavior of three glass ceramics samples each having 34 SiO2–14.5 P2O5–1 CaF2–0.5 mgF2(%wt)and ratio of CaO/mgO varying from 11.5:1 to 1:11.5 in conventional SBF(SBF-K9) and revised SBF(r-SBF) that has ionic concentration exactly equal to that of human blood *** that purpose,samples were immersed in fluids for different time periods upto 25 *** film XRD analysis revealed the diffusive nature of the phases on the surfaces of samples after soaking for different time periods in *** showed the poor precipitation and small thickness of the HCAp layer on the samples as compared to that in SBF-K9,thus indicating the fitness and sensitivity of r-SBF for in-vitro characterization of ***,FTIR and EDS revealed slow bonding rate on the surfaces of the samples in r-SBF than that in SBF-K9 that showed the dependence of bond formation on the composition of the materials as well as on the physiological fluid used for in-vitro *** rate of HCAp formation was slower in r-SBF due to more competitive adsorption of CO3 ions to Ca and mg ions owing to greater amount of CO3 in r-SBF than that in *** shows the importance of CO3 content in the physiological fluids for the in-vitro assessment of ***,r-SBF is recommended to be used for assessment of samples to clearly understand their behavior in-vivo.

The putative Jambil meta-carbonatites of Swat,northern Pakistan,occur as discrete intrusions into the Proterozoic manglaur Formation,which are difficult to be distinguished from nearby calc-silicate marble because both rock types experienced regional metamorphism during Himalayan orogenesis that resulted in similar mosaic textures and mineral *** are often significant repositories of economic mineral resources and,therefore,are important to be distinguished from calc-silicate *** present new geochemical and geochronology data to distinguish between the two rock types and interpret the petrogenesis and tectonic evolution of the Jambil *** rock chemical data from the Jambil meta-carbonatites show characteristically high rare earth element(REE),Sr contents and lack of negative Eu anomaly,consistent with average calcio-carbonatite values worldwide and an igneous *** than 0.5 wt.% SrO in the metacarbonatites and SrO> 0.15 wt.% in constituent rock forming calcite are discriminating signatures of the Jambil ***,the Jambil meta-carbonatites are relatively depleted in Rb,Nb,Ta,Ti,Zr and Hf,relatively enriched in Ba,Th,Sr,and have a high LREE/HREE ratio when normalized to primitive *** carbon and oxygen isotope compositions vary from-3.5‰ to-4.3‰and from 9.7‰ to 12.3‰,*** geochemical characteristics indicate generation of the carbonatites through small degree of partial melting from a carbonated eclogitic ***-situ,U/Pb analysis of titanite indicates that the Jambil meta-carbonatites were emplacement at 438 ±3 *** combined with regional geological observations,we interpret the emplacement of the Jambil metacarbonatites to have taken place during the Silurian back arc extension within greater Gondwana and mark a transition from a compressional tectonic regime,brought about by collision of microcontinental blocks along the northern margin of Gondwana,to post-orogenic
