Skeletal muscle plays a significant role in both local and systemic energy metabolism. The current investigation aims to explore the role of the Bambi gene in skeletal muscle, focusing on its implications for muscle hypertrophy and systemic metabolism. We hypothesize that skeletal muscle-specific deletion of Bambi induces muscle hypertrophy, improves metabolic performance, and activates thermogenic adipocytes via the reprogramming of progenitor of i WAT, offering potential therapeutic strategies for metabolic syndromes. Leveraging the Chromatin immunoprecipitation(ChIP)-seq and bioinformatics analysis, Bambi gene is shown to be a direct target of HIF2α, which is further confirmed by ChIP-qPCR and promoter luciferase assay. Skeletal muscle-specific Bambi deletion led to significant muscle hypertrophy and improved metabolic parameters, even under high-fat diet conditions. This deletion induced metabolic reprogramming of stromal vascular fractions(SVFs) into thermogenic adipocytes, contributing to systemic metabolic improvements, potentially through the secretory ***, mice with skeletal muscle-specific Bambi deletion demonstrate resistance to high-fat diet-induced metabolic disorders, highlighting a potential therapeutic pathway for metabolic syndrome management. Thus, skeletal muscle-specific deletion of Bambi triggers muscle growth, enhances metabolic performance, and activates thermogenic adipocytes. These findings suggest Bambi as a novel therapeutic target for metabolic syndromes, providing new insights into the interaction between muscle hypertrophy and systemic metabolic improvement. The study underscores the potential of manipulating muscle physiology to regulate whole-body metabolism, offering a novel perspective on treating metabolic disorders.

The present paper studies the influences of the bubble size distribution on the propagation of acoustic waves in dilute polydisperse bubbly liquids *** proposed approach is validated by using available experimental data in the *** is revealed that the bubble size distribution has impacts on both the wave speed and the wave ***,the minimum wave speed together with the corresponding frequency could be both significantly affected by the bubble size distribution (e.g.,the standard deviation).Furthermore,the maximum wave attenuation in the frequency response curve is also sensitive to the variations of the bubble size distribution.

Solar flare prediction using highly stressed longitudinal magnetic field parameters

Three new longitudinal magnetic field parameters are extracted from SOHO/MDI magnetograms to characterize properties of the stressed magnetic field in active regions, and their flare productivities are calculated for 1055 active regions. We find that the proposed parameters can be used to distinguish flaring samples from non-flaring samples. Using the long-term accumulated MDI data, we build the solar flare prediction model by using a data mining method. Furthermore, the decision boundary, which is used to divide flaring from non-flaring samples, is determined by the decision tree algorithm. Finally, the performance of the prediction model is evaluated by 10-fold cross validation technology. We conclude that an efficient solar flare prediction model can be built by the proposed longitudinal magnetic field parameters with the data mining method.

The present paper presents comparisons of the vortex identification between the Omega method and the Q criterion based on the data of a classical *** the comparisons of the vortex structure together with the flow statistics,some important conclusions are drawn on the validity of the two methods,as *** Omega method can identify various kinds of vortices with different intensities(e.g.,the strong vortex,the medium vortex and the weak vortex).For the Q criterion,due to the subjective threshold selection,only the strong vortex with weak deformations could be ***,some emerging topics related with the advanced vortex identification methods are briefly discussed.

急性主动脉夹层合并2型糖尿病患者危险因素、预后及快速筛查研究

背景急性主动脉夹层（AAD）合并2型糖尿病的发病率呈上升趋势，然而，关于其危险因素和预后的研究较少。因此，积极寻求临床一种简便且有效的诊断工具已成为研究的重点。目的分析AAD合并2型糖尿病患者危险因素、预后及快速筛查方法。方法选取2016年1月—2022年10月宁波市医疗中心李惠利医院收治的168例AAD患者为研究对象，使用主动脉夹层检测风险评分（ADD-RS）量表对患者进行初筛分诊。选用主动脉CT血管造影（CTA）检查结果作为AAD确诊的“金标准”，比较主动脉CTA确诊结果与ADD-RS量表的初筛结果。根据是否合并2型糖尿病分为糖尿病组和非糖尿病组，收集两组的一般资料，采用多因素Logistic回归分析探讨AAD患者合并2型糖尿病的危险因素；比较两组的短期预后及疼痛评分。采用多因素Cox回归分析AAD患者短期预后的影响因素，采用受试者工作特征（ROC）曲线分析ADD-RS量表对AAD合并2型糖尿病的筛查价值。结果本研究糖尿病组59例，非糖尿病组109例。多因素Logistic回归分析显示，增龄（OR=1.088,95%CI=1.042～1.136,P0.05）；两组30 d死亡率分别为3.39%和3.67%，差异无统计学意义（P>0.05）。多因素Cox回归分析显示高血压不是影响AAD患者短期预后的独立因素（HR=0.673,95%CI=0.094～4.791,P>0.05）。糖尿病组的ADD-RS为1(1)分，高于非糖尿病组的1(2)分（Z=-4.640,P<0.001）；糖尿病组的高风险及中风险患者均多于非糖尿病组（Z=2.309,P=0.021）;ADD-RS量表筛查AAD合并2型糖尿病的ROC曲线下面积为0.706(95%CI=0.634～0.779)。结论 AAD合并2型糖尿病患者的危险因素有年龄增高、BMI≥25 kg/m2、冠心病、高脂血症、LVEF升高，且ADD-RS量表在AAD合并2型糖尿病患者的风险评估中具有较高的临床筛查价值。

Herein,the electromagnetic shielding performance of surface concave-convex(SC)and zig-zag micro-arrays was studied by using a simulation prediction and a three-dimensional(3D)printing custom ***,surface stripe concaveconvex(SSC)and surface cylindrical concave-convex(SCC)micro-arrays with or without zig-zag micro-arrays are designed,and their shielding performance is simulated in multi-bands(C-,X-band).The multiwalled carbon nanotubes/polydimethylsiloxane composites(MWCNT/PDMS)with different SC structures and different electrical conductivity are molded in acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer(ABS)molds which are printed by a 3D *** results show that the electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness(EMI SE)of the samples can be enhanced by constructing the SC micro-arrays with zig-zag micro-arrays,and improving with the increase of conductivity and *** addition,the shielding mechanism of the SC-MWCNT/PDMS composites is investigated and discussed by an electromagnetic simulation.

Bidirectional natural hybridization between sympatric Ligularia vellerea and L. subspicata

Natural hybridization has been regarded as a crucial pathway of speciation and provides the raw materials for the evolution of biodiversity. The interspecific natural hybridization of the genus Ligularia *** universal and has been considered to be an important factor driving the high diversity of Ligularia species in the Hengduan Mountains, China. Although the natural hybridization between L. vellerea and L. subspicata was reported previously, the direction of hybridization was uncertain due to the limitation of sampling. Thus, in this study, we sampled more individuals and increased two fragments of chloroplast DNA on the basis of the previous study to further verify the natural hybridization between L. vellerea and L. subspicata and confirm the direction of hybridization. Based on DNA sequences(atpBrbcL, trnL-rpl32, trnQ-5'rps16, and nuclear ribosomal internal transcribed spacer region) data, we concluded that putative hybrids were primary products of hybridization between L. vellerea and L. subspicata and the hybridization was bidirectional. Moreover, sympatric L. tongolensis was not apparently involved in the hybridization. Surprisingly, some pure L. subspicata individuals showed the disaccordance between morphology and DNA data, which might indicate that introgression occurs between L. vellerea and L. subspicata.

Development and Characterization of Microsatellite Markers for Harpadon nehereus Based on High-Throughput Sequencing and Cross-Species Amplification in Three Myctophiformes Fishes

Harpadon nehereus is a widespread economical fish found in the coastal seas of China and has important ecological value in the marine ecosystem.H_(o)wever,its germplasm resources have been seriously degraded due to natural factors and anthropogenic *** this study,high-throughput sequencing was applied to search for microsatellite loci in *** transcriptome to provide references for its resource conservation and *** loci were developed by non-denaturing polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis,and their cross-species amplified ability was detected in three related species.A total of 5652 microsatellites were identified from 16974320 *** the primer pairs designed for 100 SSRs for PCR amplification,80%were successfully amplified,and 26 loci were polymorphic with a high number of alleles from 3 to 11 *** expected(H_(e))and observed(H_(o))heterozygosities were 0.355–0.885 and 0.375–0.958,*** of the loci were highly polymorphic(polymorphism information content:0.316–0.852;mean:0.713),and these markers can be applied in the population genetic diversity research of ***.H_(o)wever,the transferability of these primers was low,probably because of the close relation of the collected *** follow-up work,simple sequence repeats will be excavated with genome-based technologies,and related species will be gathered to address the present inadequacies.

Lexicon-Augmented Cross-Domain Chinese Word Segmentation with Graph Convolutional Network

Existing neural approaches have achieved significant progress for Chinese word segmentation(CWS). The performances of these methods tend to drop dramatically in the cross-domain scenarios due to the data distribution mismatch across domains and the out of vocabulary words problem. To address these two issues,proposes a lexicon-augmented graph convolutional network for cross-domain CWS. The novel model can capture the information of word boundaries from all candidate words and utilize domain lexicons to alleviate the distribution gap across domains. Experimental results on the cross-domain CWS datasets(SIGHAN-2010 and TCM)show that the proposed method successfully models information of domain lexicons for neural CWS approaches and helps to achieve competitive performance for crossdomain CWS. The two problems of cross-domain CWS can be effectively solved through various interactions between characters and candidate words based on ***, experiments on the CWS benchmarks(Bakeoff-2005) also demonstrate the robustness and efficiency of the proposed method.
