为了研究矩形腔体侧向正弦周期加热条件下对流扰动的成长和传热特性,本研究对流体力学方程组进行了数值模拟。结果表明:随着格拉晓夫数Gr的增加,对流扰动的最大振幅Amax的成长率变大,线性成长阶段的时间变短。对于高宽比A=10,腔体宽度d=2cm的腔体,普朗特数Pr=6.949的流体,对流扰动的成长率γ_(m)随着格拉晓夫数Gr变化的经验式为γ_(m)=9×10^(-8)Gr^(1.2343);对于高宽比A=10、腔体宽度d=6cm的腔体,普朗特数Pr=0.703的流体,成长率m随着格拉晓夫数Gr的变化关系式为m=8×10^(-4)Cr^(0.52)。当Pr=0.0272时,热壁面平均努塞尔数Nu和格拉晓夫数Gr的关联式为Nu=0.00002Gr^(1.17);当Pr=6.949时,Nu=0.00024Gr^(1.05)。随着格拉晓夫数Gr数增加,右壁面的传热能力增强。

基于数值模拟,研究了分离比ψ=-0.4和长高比Γ=40的腔体内的双局部行波对流的动力学特性。结果发现,对流圈在端壁产生,向中心传播,到达一定位置对流圈消失;在矩形腔体中两端壁附近行波对流区域与中间部位无对流的传导区域同时共存,形成双局部行波对流;双局部行波对流中的行波由腔体两端向中部传播;腔体二分之一高度处的温度与垂直流速分布是谐波结构,波形比较光滑,浓度分布是台型结构;随着时间的发展,垂直流速最大值稳定在某个数值周期变化,下壁面努塞尔数基本稳定在某个数值,垂直流速最大值和下壁面努塞尔数及其达到稳定的时间随着相对瑞利数r的增加而增加;双局部行波对流稳定的存在于相对瑞利数r∈{1.52,1.57]的区间,双局部行波的对流区长度随着相对瑞利数r的增加呈良好的增加关系,并给出了双局部行波的对流区长度随着相对瑞利数r变化的拟合关系式。

Feature of the turbulent boundary layer along a smooth round pipe is a fundamental to further study of inlet length and flow resistance, therefore, it has been of great significance both in practice and in theory. In this paper, the formulae for calculating the turbulent boundary layer thickness were obtained by solving the momentum integral equation of the boundary layer in which the assumption of the logarithmic law and the exponential law of velocity distribution were adopted. The method for calculating the mean flow velocity in the developing region of turbulent boundary layer in a round pipe was proposed. The relationship between the exponent n and the factor was studied and a formula for calculating the exponent n was obtained.

The simulation results on a blinking traveling wave (BTW) state with binary fluid convection in a rectangular cell was presented. The numerical simulations were made by using the two-dimensional perturbation equations of full hydrodynamic equations. The BTW or sloshing traveling wave state is a type of modulated traveling wave (MTW) generated by the motion of a source defect which originates from the reflection effect at the end walls and depends on the reduced Rayleigh number. By comparing the profiles of convection, the BTW state is realized on a weakly nonlinear branch with a small amplitude and the localized traveling wave (LTW) state is realized on a full nonlinear branch with a large amplitude. They have different dynamic behavior. A discontinuous jump from the BTW branch to the stable LTW branch takes place when the oscillatory period lengthens and the amplitude grows above the upper critical value of the BTW.

Global environmental concern over organic contaminated sites has been progressively conspicuous during the process of urbanization and industrial restructuring.While traditional physical or chemical remediation technologies may significantly destroy the soil structure and function,coupling moderate chemical degradation with microbial remediation becomes a potential way for the green,economic,and efficient remediation of contaminated sites.Hence,this work systematically elucidates why and how to couple chemical technology with microbial remediation,mainly focused on the controllable redox reactions of organic contaminants.The rational design of materials structure,selective generation of reactive oxygen species,and estimation of degradation pathway are described for chemical oxidation.Meanwhile,current progress on efficient and selective reductions of organic contaminants(i.e.,dechlorination,defluorination,-NO_(2) reduction)is introduced.Combined with the microbial remediation of contaminated sites,several consideration factors of how to couple chemical and microbial remediation are proposed based on both fundamental and practical points of view.This review will advance the understanding and development of chemical-microbial coupled remediation for organic contaminated sites.

Heavy metal(loid)s(HMs)pollution has become a common and complex problem in industrial parks due to rapid industrialization and urbanization.Here,soil and groundwater were sampled from a retired industrial park to investigate the pollution characteristics of HMs.Results show that Ni,Pb,Cr,Zn,Cd,and Cu were the typical HMs in the soil.Source analysis with the positive matrix factorization model indicates that HMs in the topsoil stemmed from industrial activities,traffic emission,and natural source,and the groundwater HMs originated from industrial activities,groundwater-soil interaction,groundwater-rock interaction,and atmosphere deposition.The sequential extraction of soil HMs reveals that As and Hg were mainly distributed in the residue fraction,while Ni,Pb,Cr,Zn,Cd,and Cu mainly existed in the mobile fraction.Most HMs either in the total concentration or in the bioavailable fraction preferred to retain in soil as indicated by their high soil-water partitioning coefficients(K_(d)),and the K_(d) values were correlated with soil pH,groundwater redox potential,and dissolved oxygen.The relative stable soil-groundwater circumstance and the low active fraction contents limited the vertical migration of soil HMs and their release to groundwater.These findings increase our knowledge about HMs pollution characteristics of traditional industrial parks and provide a protocol for HMs pollution scrutinizing in large zones.

Extensive high-speed railway(HSR)network resembled the intricate vascular system of the human body,crisscrossing mainlands.Seismic events,known for their unpredictability,pose a significant threat to both trains and bridges,given the HSR’s extended operational duration.Therefore,ensuring the running safety of train-bridge coupled(TBC)system,primarily composed of simply supported beam bridges,is paramount.Traditional methods like the Monte Carlo method fall short in analyzing this intricate system efficiently.Instead,efficient algorithm like the new point estimate method combined with moment expansion approximation(NPEM-MEA)is applied to study random responses of numerical simulation TBC systems.Validation of the NPEM-MEA’s feasibility is conducted using the Monte Carlo method.Comparative analysis confirms the accuracy and efficiency of the method,with a recommended truncation order of four to six for the NPEM-MEA.Additionally,the influences of seismic magnitude and epicentral distance are discussed based on the random dynamic responses in the TBC system.This methodology not only facilitates seismic safety assessments for TBC systems but also contributes to standard-setting for these systems under earthquake conditions.

This paper investigates the impact of non-ideal user equipment(UE) hardware on a cell-free(CF) massive MIMO(mMIMO) network with centralized operation under spatially correlated channels. The minimum mean-squared error(MMSE) estimator can be derived with the help of the generic non-ideal UE hardware model. It is demonstrated that even if the effective signal-to-noise ratio approaches infinity, pilot contamination and imperfect hardware can cause a non-zero estimation error floor. After that, a lower bound is determined for the ergodic uplink capacity of the centralized CF mMIMO network under non-ideal UE hardware. Moreover, the optimal receive combining vector is obtained to maximize the uplink spectral efficiency(SE). The maximum ratio(MR) and regularized zero-forcing(RZF) combining schemes are offered as alternatives in light of the computational complexity of the MMSE receiver. Comparing the RZF to the MMSE scheme under different levels of hardware impairments, our findings indicate that the RZF receiver suffers a negligible loss in total SE. For MR combining, a novel closed-form uplink achievable SE expression is obtained based on the MMSE estimator and the use-and-then-forget bounding technique. This expression gives vital insights into the achievable uplink performance with UE hardware impairments. Besides, for various hardware impairment factors, the impact of pilot sequence length on average sum SE is disclosed for different receive combining schemes. To increase the overall SE of the max-min fairness scheme, a heuristic fractional power control scheme with UE hardware impairments is developed, which can essentially avoid sacrificing the SE of other UEs while maximizing the SE of the unluckiest UE in the whole network. Finally,our theoretical performance analysis and power control algorithm are validated by simulation results, and fundamental design guidelines are provided for selecting hardware satisfying the practical UE requirements.
