An RF power coupler is one of the key components in a superconducting （SC） linac. It provides RF power to the SC cavity and interconnects different temperature layers （1.8 K, 4.2 K, 70 K and 300 K）. The TTF-Ⅲ coupler is one of the most promising candidates for the High Energy （HE） linac of Project X, but it cannot meet the average power requirements because of the relatively high temperature rise on the warm inner conductor, so some design modifications will be required. In this paper, we describe our simulation studies on the copper coating thickness on the warm inner conductor with RRR values of 10 and 100. Our purpose is to rebalance the dynamic and static loads, and finally lower the temperature rise along tbe warm inner conductor. In addition, to get stronger coupling, better power handling and less multipacting probability, one new cold part design was proposed using a 60 mm coaxial line; the corresponding multipacting simulation studies have also been investigated.

Apathy is one of the least investigated symptom of Parkinson disease （PD）. In the article there are data of frequency, diagnostic features, pathophysiology and treatment of apathy in PD. The aim of the investigation was to evaluate the frequency of apathy in PD without dementia, evaluate the relationship with other neuropsychiatric and motor disorders, influence on the life quality. 115 patients （age-63.84±0.6 years, stage 2.6±0.3） with PD without dementia were included in the investigation. There were used the following scales： scale of evaluation stages of PD by Hoehn-Yahr, UPDRS （part 〈〈activity of daily living〉〉, 〈〈motor functions 〉〉）; Beck Depression Inventory, Spielberger State Trait Anxiety Inventory, Parkinson Disease Sleep Scale- PDSS, Epworth Sleepiness Scale, Parkinson Fatigue Scale-PFS- 16, SCOPA-Cog, Lilli Apathy Rating Scale LARS and Apathy Scale AS. Apathy was found in 25% of patients. The frequency and severity of apathy does not depend on stage and duration of PD. It was found positive correlation of apathy and hypokinesia. In different stages of PD there was variability of relationships of apathy with depression, executive functions and sleep disorders. We suppose the heterogeneity of apathy in PD because of the variability of the association with other neuropsychiatric （affective, cognitive, sleep） disorders. It was found the negative influence of apathy on daily activity, emotional and social aspects of life quality.

The article assesses the influence of permafrost weathering on the rate of destruction of technogenic land forms,as exhibit ed on as illustrated by the railway embankment of the Amur Yakut mainline in the Sakha Republic(Yakutia).Studies were carried out on a railway section more than 375 km *** subsidence rate of the embankment slopes and structur al excavations was determined using laboratory methods that simulate various mechanisms of temperature(with a transi tion through 0℃)impact on *** the first time,a quantitative assessment of the influence of cryogenic weathering on the stability of the railway in the region belonging to the northern building climatic zone is *** the territory un der consideration,embankment rocks were experimentally determined to undergo more than 100 freezing and thawing cy cles during a *** the existing climatic conditions,cryogenic weathering actively affects the embankment of the railway to a depth of 30 *** of the embankment deformations detected during field observations are due to defects in the integrity of this particular *** size of the disintegrating layer of particular types of rock comprising the rail way embankment has been established as reaching 10 cm per *** 5 years following the formation of embankments comprising the upper structure of the railroad tracks,the physical and mechanical properties of rocks,which initially had a tensile strength for uniaxial compression in the range of 40 70 MPa,were reduced by more than 50%.According to the authors,the establishment of regional cryohypergenesis features is universal in nature and can be applied to solving a wide range of tasks related to the assessment and prediction of the degree of cryogenic transformation of rocks having different structural properties.

Experimental beneficiation processes of quartz concentrate in arc plasma torches of two different types and electric powers were studied. An emission scanning electron microscope and a universal laser analyzer were used to investigate the structures as well as the size distributions of grains and microparticles. Inductively coupled plasma–mass spectrometry was used to determine the chemical compositions of nonstructural solid-phase mineral impurities in quartz concentrate. Results related to the modified grains' structure and size distribution, the compositions of impurities, and the gas–liquid inclusions in the quartz concentrate were investigated. The total impurities concentrations in the processed grains were found to satisfy the IOTA-STD standard(industry standard for grading high quality fused quartz products). The optimal condition(i.e., the optimal specific plasma enthalpy) for the production of high-purity quartz in arc plasma torches was found to depend on the geological-genetic type and the structural and textural features(i.e., chemical composition and gas–liquid inclusions) of the quartz concentrate.

We report a new species of the genus Micryletta from the montane evergreen forest in the Bidoup-Nui Ba National Park,Lam Dong Province,Langbian Plateau,southern Vietnam,based on molecular and morphological *** new species is diagnosed by a combination of the following morphological characters:body size small(snout-vent length(SVL)22.4 mm,single female);iris uniform black;snout nearly truncate in dorsal view,slightly rounded in profile;tibiotarsal articulation of adpressed limb reaching level of eye;dorsal surface smooth;supratympanic fold present,prominent;outer metatarsal tubercle absent;tips of toes very weakly dilated into small discs;finger webbing absent,toe webbing rudimentary;dorsal surfaces of head and body orange-red with small irregularly shaped dark-brown patches;dorsal surface of limbs pale dark brown with small reddish speckles;body flanks dark brown anteriorly fading to grayish brown posteriorly with brown spots in groin area;lateral sides of head immaculate blackish brown without white patches;coloration of ventral surfaces immaculate dark gray.

Objective:To discusse the impact of geophagy on liehavior and conditioned-reflex activity of Wistar rats subjected to instrumental stress under experimental ***:Experimental geophagy was simulated by adding zeolite-containing tuff(clinoptilolite)to animal feed,the amount relating to 2%of body *** was obtained from areas where animals usually eat subsurface *** activity of animals and peculiarities of information and emotional stress were studied through the use of a universal problem ***:The results of this experimental study showed the negative impact of instrumental stress on laboratory animals,manifested in behavioral dysfunction,in the form of changes in qualitative and quantitative characteristics of search *** geophagy contributed to significant improvement in behavioral parameters,confirming the anti-stress effects of the use of natural ***:These results suggest that,in natural environmental conditions, "edible" rocks serve as an adaptive tool for recovery from various types of environmental stresses,and are examples of self-medication.

We describe a new species of the genus Tylototriton from Ingyin Taung Mt.,Mohnyin Township,Kachin State,Myanmar,based on morphological and molecular *** new species is assigned to the subgenus Tylototriton *** is clearly distinct from all known congeners by the following characters:medium body size;thin,long tail,lacking lateral grooves;rough skin;truncate snout;wide,protruding supratemporal bony ridges on head,beginning at anterior corner of orbit;weak,almost indistinct sagittal ridge;long,thin limbs,broadly overlapping when adpressed along body;distinct,wide,non-segmented vertebral ridge;13 or 14 rib nodules;brown to darkbrown background coloration with dull orange-brown to yellowish-brown markings on labial regions,parotoids,rib nodules,whole limbs,vent,and ventral tail *** also briefly discuss biogeography and species diversity of the genus Tylototriton in Myanmar.
