The work is dedicated to calculation of daily variability of monthly averaged full vertical at-mospheric absorption for six well-known moun- tain locations of sub-millimeter wave band ra-diotelescopes obtained with usage of chosen by authors models combination. Test locations we- re defined as follows: Chajnantor plateau in the Atacama mountain desert (Chile), Hanle (India), South Pole (Antarctic), Mauna Kea (Hawaii, USA), Sierra Negra (Puebla, Mexico) and El Leoncito (Argentine). The data of these calculations were compared with the data of long term radiometric observations of other authors. Se- arching for new alternative places to complement existing sub-millimeter telescopes locations was attempted too.

The determination of white dwarf parameters in dwarf novae by optical spectral modeling

This paper presents the results of a model analysis of optical spectra and determination of the parameters of three individual SU UMa and WZ Sge type dwarf *** moderate resolution spectra of TY Psc,FL Psc and v455 And were obtained at the 6-m BTA of the SAO RAS in the low state of these systems with the determination of white dwarf *** theoretical spectra were calculated using the grid models of hydrogen dwarf atmospheres of white dwarfs by varying the parameters(T_(eff) and log g) to reach the best agreement with the observed *** highlight different effects of the parameters on the shape and intensity of the HI ***,it is possible to unambiguously determine T_(eff) and log g from the analysis of *** fundamental parameters of white dwarfs(M and R) were found by comparing the parameters of atmospheres with theoretical models of the internal *** obtained parameters of the primaries of TY Psc,FL Psc and v455 And are consistent with the average values for SU UMa and WZ Sge *** a result,we demonstrate the efficiency of the method for determining the parameters of such systems based on the analysis of a limited set of observed optical spectra.

A new species of small tree frog from a primary montane tropical forest of central vietnam, Tay Nguyen Plateau, is described based on morphological, molecular, and acoustic evidence. The Golden Bug-Eyed Frog, Theloderma auratum sp. nov., is distinguishable from its congeners and other small rhacophorid species based on a combination of the following morphological attributes：（1） bony ridges on head absent; （2） smooth skin completely lacking calcified warts or asperities; （3） pointed elongated tapering snout; （4） vocal opening in males absent; （5） vomerine teeth absent; （6） males of small body size （SvL 21.8-26.4 mm）; （7） head longer than wide; ED/SvL ratio 13%-15%; ESL/SvL ratio 16%-20%; （8） small tympanum （TD/EL ratio 50%-60%） with few tiny tubercles; （9） supratympanic fold absent; （10） ventral surfaces completely smooth; （11 ） webbing between fingers absent; （12） outer and inner metacarpal tubercles present, supernumerary metacarpal tubercle single, medial, oval in shape; （13） toes half-webbed： I 2-21/4 II 11/^-23/~ III 2-31/4 Iv 3-11/2 v; （14） inner metatarsal tubercle present, oval; outer metatarsal tubercle absent; （15） iris bicolored; （16） dorsal surfaces golden-yellow with sparse golden-orange speckling or reticulations and few small dark-brown spots; （17） lateral sides of head and body with wide dark reddish-brown to black lateral stripes, clearlyseparated from lighter dorsal coloration by straight contrasting edge; （18） ventral surfaces of body, throat, and chest greyish-blue with indistinct brown confluent blotches; （19） upper eyelids with few （3-5） very small flat reddish superciliary tubercles; （20） limbs dorsally reddish-brown, ventrally brown with small bluish-white speckles. The new species is also distinct from all congeners in 12S rRNA to 16S rRNA mitochondrial DNA fragment sequences （uncorrected genetic distance P〉8.9%）. Advertisement call and tadpole morphology of the new species are described. Our molecular data showed Theloderma auratum sp. nov.

A GIS-based modeling of snow accumulation and melt processes in the votkinsk reservoir basin

Coupled hydrological and atmospheric modeling is an efficient method for snowmelt runoff forecast in large basins. We use short-range precipitation forecasts of mesoscale at- mospheric Weather Research and Forecasting （WRF） model combining them with ground-based and satellite observations for modeling snow accumulation and snowmelt processes in the votkinsk reservoir basin （184,319 km2）. The method is tested during three winter seasons （2012-2015）. The MODIS-based vegetation map and leaf area index data are used to calculate the snowmelt intensity and snow evaporation in the studied basin. The GIS-based snow accumulation and snowmelt modeling provides a reliable and highly detailed spatial distribution for snow water equivalent （SWE） and snow-covered areas （SCA）. The modelling results are validated by comparing actual and estimated SWE and SCA data. The actual SCA results are derived from MODIS satellite data. The algorithm for assessing the SCA by MODIS data （ATBD-MOD 10） has been adapted to a forest zone. In general, the proposed method provides satisfactory results for maximum SWE calculations. The calculation accuracy is slightly degraded during snowmelt periods. The SCA data is simulated with a higher reliability than the SWE data. The differences between the simulated and actual SWE may be explained by the overestimation of the WRF-simulated total precipitation and the unrepresentativeness of the SWE measurements （snow survey）.

volatile components in diamonds, associated garnet (pyrope), and olivine from two extremely rare xenoliths of diamondiferous peridotites recovered from the Udachnaya kimberlite pipe in Yakutia, Russia, were analyzed by gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC–MS) using a Focus DSQ II Series Single Quadrupole GC–MS (Thermo Scientific, USA). These xenoliths are pyrope lherzolite and pyrope dunite based upon compositions of coexisting minerals. Unlike the pyrope lherzolite, which contained pyrope with moderate calcium (Ca)-component content (about 15 mol%), the dunite contained subcalcic chromium (Cr)-pyrope with low Ca-component content (less than 10 mol%). All investigated minerals contained dominating hydrocarbons and their derivatives represented by aliphatic (paraffins, olefins), cyclic (naphthenes, arenes), oxygenated (alcohols, ethers), and heterocyclic (dioxanes, furans) hydrocarbons;nitrogenated, chlorinated, and sulfonated compounds;carbon dioxide (CO2);and water (H2O). The relative concentration (rel%) of total hydrocarbon was 79.7 rel% for diamonds, 69.1 rel% for garnet, and 92.6 rel% for olivine, with a general amount of components ranging from 161 to 206. New data on volatiles in diamonds, associated garnet, and olivine suggest the presence of a wide spectrum of hydrocarbons along with nitrogen (N2), CO2, and H2O in some upper mantle areas.

The field of structures on set of secants is offered and methods of its construction for various classes of one-valued nonlinearities of static systems are considered. The analysis of structural properties of system is fulfilled on specially generated set of data. Representation on which modification it is possible to judge to nonlinear structure of static systems is introduced. It is shown, that structures of nonlinear static systems have a special v-point. The adaptive algorithm of an estimation of structure of nonlinearity on a class poly-nomial function is offered.

This paper considers the problems of the potential development of erosion processes in the natural landscapes of northern taiga in the Russian plain. It is considered that in forest ecosystems, erosion processes are slow and are weakly reflected in the terrain. However, the situation changes radically if the vegetation cover integrity is violated, which is inevitable with the modern methods of developing northern territories. Furthermore, global changes in average annual temperatures and the occurrence of karst processes may be the reason behind the development of erosion processes. The authors suggest a method for determining territories with a varying occurrence probability of erosional processes, based on digital elevation modelling. The territory of the Pinezhsky Nature Reserve(Arkhangelsk region) was chosen as the test plot. Direct field studies were previously used to detect exogenous geological processes in this territory. The authors were the first to suggest digital elevation modelling as a method that allows determining the potential danger of erosion in karst landscapes of the northern taiga. The geomorphometric studies resulted in the determination of areas with the greatest and lowest occurrence probability of erosion processes in the Pinezhsky Nature Reserve. It was established that the most significant erosion type was linear erosion, represented by incised river valleys and karst ravines. Sheet erosion is less significant and occurs as sinkholes, local declines, and chasms over the valleys of subterranean rivers.
