seminomas are most commonly diagnosed in clinical stage I(CsI).After orchiectomy,approximately 15%of patients in this stage have subclinical *** radiotherapy(ART)delivered to the retroperitoneum and ipsilateral pelvic lymph nodes has been the mainstay of treatment for many *** highly efﬁcient,with long-term cancer-speciﬁc survival(Css)rates approaching almost 100%,ART is associated with considerable long-term consequences,particularly cardiovascular toxicity and increased risk of secondary malignancies(sMN).Therefore,active surveillance(As)and adjuvant chemotherapy(ACT)were developed as alternative treatment *** As prevents patient overtreatment,it is associated with strict follow-up regimens and increased radiation exposure due to repeated *** to equivalent Css rates to ART,and lower toxicity,one course of adjuvant carboplatin presents the cornerstone of chemotherapy for CsI *** is almost 100%for patients with CsI seminoma,regardless of the chosen treatment ***,a personalized approach in treatment selection is ***,routine radiotherapy for CsI seminoma patients is no longer ***,it should be reserved for patients who are unﬁt or unwilling for As or ***ﬁcation of prognostic factors for disease relapse allowed for the development of risk-adapted treatment strategy and stratiﬁcation of patients in low-risk and high-risk *** risk-adapted policy needs further validation,surveillance is currently recommended in low-risk patients,while ACT is reserved for patients with a higher risk of relapse.

Research of Mechanical and Thermal Properties of Composite Material Based on Gypsum and straw

Observations and light curve solutions of the W UMa binaries V796 Cep,V797 Cep,Css J015341.9+381641 and NsVs 3853195

Photometric observations in sloan g′and i′bands of four W UMa binaries, V796 Cep,V797 Cep, Css J015341.9＋381641 and NsVs 3853195, are presented. Our observations showed that Css J015404.1＋382805 and NsVs 3853195 are the same star. We determined the initial epochs T_0 of all targets and found improved values for the period of NsVs 3853195. The light curve solutions of our data revealed that the components of each target are almost the same in terms of mass, temperature,radius and luminosity. The stellar components are G and K spectral types and undergo partial *** systems have barely-overcontact configurations and can be classified as H subtype W UMa *** established that the relation between the luminosity ratio l_2/l_1 and mass ratio q of our targets is approximately l_2/l_1 = q^（1.5）.

As bifunctional oxygen evolution/reduction electrocatalysts,transition-metal-based single-atom-doped nitrogen-carbon(NC)matrices are promising successors of the corresponding noblemetal-based catalysts,offering the advantages of ultrahigh atom utilization effciency and surface active ***,the fabrication of such matrices(e.g.,well-dispersed single-atom-doped M-N4/NCs)often requires numerous steps and tedious ***,ultrasonic plasma engineering allows direct carbonization in a precursor solution containing metal phthalocyanine and *** combining with the dispersion effect of ultrasonic waves,we successfully fabricated uniform single-atom M-N4(M=Fe,Co)carbon catalysts with a production rate as high as 10 mg *** Co-N4/NC presented a bifunctional potential drop ofΔE=0.79 V,outperforming the benchmark Pt/C-Ru/C catalyst(ΔE=0.88 V)at the same catalyst *** calculations revealed that Co-N4 was the major active site with superior O2 adsorption-desorption *** a practical Zn-air battery test,the air electrode coated with Co-N4/NC exhibited a specific capacity(762.8 mAh g(-1))and power density(101.62 mW cm^(-2)),exceeding those of Pt/C-Ru/C(700.8 mAh g^(-1) and 89.16 mW cm^(-2),respectively)at the same catalyst ***,for Co-N4/NC,the potential difference increased from 1.16 to 1.47 V after 100 charge-discharge *** proposed innovative and scalable strategy was concluded to be well suited for the fabrication of single-atom-doped carbons as promising bifunctional oxygen evolution/reduction electrocatalysts for metal-air batteries.

Comparison of two nutritional assessment methods in gastroenterology patients

Characteristics and Energy Efficiency of the Industrial Concentrators with Thermocompression

An analysis of the thermal characteristics of the industrial thermocompression heat pump systems is presented in this paper By using thermocompression, waste heat is thermotransformed to a higher temperature level to be convenient for its usage in thermal processes. The thermocompression heat pumps can be optimally applied in various industrial plants （production of fruit, grape and tomato concentrates, in beer, sugar and dairy industries, in chemical and pharmaceutical industries etc.）. The range of optimal application of the turbo compressor, screw compressor and ejector thermocompression is estimated. The complex thermal and flow phenomena in the processes of thermocompression, evaporation and condensation are discussed. The theoretical and experimental results of the investigations on the experimental grape vacuum concentrator and on the industrial NaOH concentrator are presented. A significant increment of the energy efficiency can be achieved by optimal application of the thermocompression in the thermal concentrating processes. A significant feature and great advantage of the concentrating technology with thermocompression are a possibility for realization of the low temperature concentrating processes, which is very important for the quality of many concentrating products with high energy efficiency technology.

Characteristics of the Water steam Turbocompressors Applied in the Concentrator systems

The main geometrical and operating parameters of the water steam centrifugal compressors working in various concentrator operating conditions are realized in this paper. The interdependence between centrifugal stage pressure ratio, peripheral Mach number and impeller peripheral speed, as well the influence of the concentrator system capacity on the dimensions of the centrifugal compressor are determined to obtain the range of reasonable usage of the centrifugal thermocompression systems in the industrial concentrators. The high peripheral impeller speed, high Mach number and high pressure ratio cause separated jet-wake flow and transonic flow phenomena in the water steam centrifugal compressor flow field. The calculating methods for 3-D viscid unsteady transonic fluid flows in the turbocompressors are discussed and the results of CFD simulations and experimental investigations are used for optimal design of the water steam centrifugal compressor flow field. The application of the centrifugal compressor in the industrial concentrators with thermocompression systems and the influence on the energy efficiency of the systems are analyzed. significant increment of the energy efficiency of the industrial concentrators can be achieved by introduction of the thermocompression systems.

A comparison of power measurement techniques and electrical characterization of an atmospheric pressure plasma jet

In the last two decades a growing interest has been shown in the investigation of atmospheric pressure plasma jets(APPJs)that operate in contact with liquid *** order to form a complete picture about such experimental systems,it is necessary to perform detailed diagnostics of plasma jets,as one step that will enable the adjustment of system properties for applications in different *** this work,we conducted a detailed electrical characterisation of a plasma system configuration used for water treatment.A helium plasma jet,with a pin electrode powered by a continuous sine wave at a frequency of 330 k Hz,formed a streamer that was in contact with a distilled water *** electrical circuit allowed the monitoring of electrical signals supplied to the jet and also to the plasma *** electrical characterisation together with power consumption measurements was obtained by using two different *** first method was based on the direct measurements of voltage and current signals,while in the second method we used'Lissajous figures'.We compared these two methods when used for discharge power estimation and addressed their advantages and *** results showed that both of these methods could be used to successfully determine power consumed by a discharge in contact with water,but only when taking into account power dissipation without plasma.
