Novel self-assembled architectures have received a growing amount of attention and have significant potential for application in catalysis/electrocatalysis. Herein, we take advantage of the unique coordination and self-assembly properties of arginine for the preparation of dendritic PtCu bimetallic nanoassemblies with tunable chemical composition and structure. Strong interactions between the arginine molecules are key in driving the self-assembly of primary nanocrystals. In addition, the strong coordination interactions between arginine and metal ions is responsible for the formation of Pt-Cu alloys. We also investigated the electrocatalytic activity of various dendritic PtCu bimetallic nanoassemblies towards the methanol oxidation reaction. PtBCUl nanoassemblies exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activity and stability in comparison with other PtCu bimetallic nanoassemblies （PtlCu3, PtlCu~） and commercial Pt black, due to their unique dendritic structures and the synergistic effect between the Pt and Cu atoms.

AIM: To report a case of pseudoxanthoma elasticum (PXE) in a 48 year old woman that presented with bilateral blurry vision. METHODS: A case report RESULTS: A 48-year-old woman presented with bilateral blurry vision and right eye metamorphopsia. The patient had a history of angioid streaks in the left eye ten years ago for which she had received laser surgery and had poor residual vision. Visual acuity was 20/60 in the right eye and count fingers at 6 feet in the left. Fundus examination showed subretinal hemorrhage and macular thickening on the right and a disciform macular scar with focal atrophic pigment epithelial lesions on the left. Both eyes had angioid streaks and peau d’orange pigmentary pattern of the retina. External examination showed several, yellow skin papules and plaques on the lateral and posterior neck, as well as prominent mental creases. Pathologic examination of skin biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of PXE, showing calcium deposition and fragmented, clumped elastic fibers in the deep reticular dermis. She responded well to intravitreal bevacizumab injections and visual acuity improved to 20/25 OD. Preventative care was emphasized and the patient was referred to cardiology, gastroenterology and human genetics for counseling. CONCLUSION: PXE is a multisystem disorder affecting the dermatologic, ocular, and cardiovascular systems. Ophthalmic findings of angioid streaks and choroidal neovascularization in the presence of stereotypical skin changes and prominent mental creases should prompt evaluation for PXE.

On the basis of the solution of the space-time characteristic system by the method of geometric optics using symbolic calculations,analytical and numerical simulation of the propagation of the ordinary and extraordinary radio waves in the conducting equatorial ionospheric plasma was made considering the anisotropy of plasma irregularities and non-stationary nature of propagation *** of the spectrum and the displacement of its maximum contain velocity of a turbulent plasma flow and parameters characterizing anisotropic plasmonic *** moments of both radio waves do not depend on the absorption sign and are valid for both active and absorptive random *** pulsations and conductivity of a turbulent ionospheric plasma have an influence on the evaluation of the spectrum-varying propagation distances travelling by these *** new double-humped effect in the temporal spectrum has been revealed for the ordinary wave varying anisotropy coefficient and dip angle of stretched plasmonic *** a theoretical point of view,the algorithms developed in this work allow effective modelling of the propagation of both radio signals in the equatorial conductive ionospheric plasma,considering the external magnetic field,inhomogeneities of electron density in-homogeneities,as well as non-stationary.

We review experimental and theoretical results on thermal transport in semiconductor nanostructures（multilayer thin films, core/shell and segmented nanowires）, single-and few-layer graphene, hexagonal boron nitride, molybdenum disulfide, and black phosphorus. Different possibilities of phonon engineering for optimization of electrical and heat conductions are discussed. The role of the phonon energy spectra modification on the thermal conductivity in semiconductor nanostructures is revealed. The dependence of thermal conductivity in graphene and related two-dimensional（2 D） materials on temperature, flake size, defect concentration, edge roughness, and strain is analyzed.

Red mud, the by-product of aluminum production, has been regarded as a problematic residue all over the world. Its storage involves risks as evidenced by the Ajka red mud spill,an accident in Hungary where the slurry broke free, flooding the surrounding areas. As an immediate remediation measure more than 5 cm thick red mud layer was removed from the flooded soil surface. The removed red mud and soil mixture（RMSM） was transferred into the reservoirs for storage. In this paper the application of RMSM is evaluated in a field study aiming at re-utilizing waste, decreasing cost of waste disposal and providing a value-added product. The purpose was to investigate the applicability of RMSM as surface layer component of landfill cover systems. The field study was carried out in two steps： in lysimeters and in field plots. The RMSM was mixed at ratios ranging between 0 and 50% w/w with low quality subsoil（LQS） originally used as surface layer of an interim landfill cover. The characteristics of the LQS ＋ RMSM mixtures compared to the subsoil（LQS） and the RMSM were determined by physical–chemical, biological and ecotoxicological methods. The addition of RMSM to the subsoil（LQS） at up to 20% did not result any ecotoxic effect, but it increased the water holding capacity. In addition, the microbial substrate utilization became about triple of subsoil（LQS） after 10 months. According to our results the RMSM mixed into subsoil（LQS） at20% w/w dose may be applied as surface layer of landfill cover systems.

Background:Components of Self,completed with the perceived social support determine the individual differences in theevaluation of a stressor and the behavioral responses toward it,such as health-related *** study set as a goal theanalysis of associations between the components of Self,such as self-evaluation,sense of coherence,perceived social support,and reported health-related anxiety in an adult ***:147 adults from the 18–73 age group(mean age 37.5)voluntarily completed the questionnaire through Qualtrics online platform containing the Short Health Anxiety Inventory,Core Self-Evaluation Scale,Social Support Assessing Scale,and one Health Self-Evaluation ***:ANOVA foundrelevant differences in total scores and subscales’scores of the health anxiety scale depending on the positive *** regression shows that the analyzed variables were responsible for the prediction of a higher value on the“Perceivedprobability of becoming ill”subscale in a proportion of 45.6%and for the“Perceived consequence of illness”subscale in aproportion of 20.2%The predictive value of the linear regression model for the total score on the health anxiety scale was46.3%.Our findings show that negative Core Self-Evaluation is linked with perceived health ***:Selfevaluation,sense of coherence and perceived social support influence the perceived health and can explain the differences inthe reported health-related anxiety.

During the last decade, the leafhopper transmitted Wheat dwarf virus （WDV） has become a serious problem both in northwestern China and Hungary. In order to study the molecular diversity and population structure of WDV in these two countries, 39 Chinese isolates and 16 Hungarian isolates were collected from different regions of China and Hungary, and their genomes were sequenced. All isolates belonged to the wheat strain of WDV and showed limited genetic diversity. The highest and lowest nucleotide sequence identities among isolates from China and Hungary were 99.9 and 90%, respectively. In all isolates, the lowest nucleotide sequence identity was 89.5% between MO10-1 and KP10-5, which were collected from Martonv^is^r and Kompolt, Hungary. Phylogenetic analyses showed the genome sequences of 55 WDV isolates belong to two big clades, but no clear correlation to geographical location. Population difference analyses indicated that the Chinese and Hungarian WDV populations have no significant difference. The regions in WDV genome with relatively low nucleotide diversities represented protein coding regions suggested that these regions evolved under negative selection, and might be one of the causes restricting the number of genetic variants.

目的:报告1例表现为双眼视力模糊的48岁女子患弹性假黄瘤病(pseudoxanthoma elasticum,PXE)的病例。方法:病例报告。结果:患者,女,48岁,双眼视力模糊,右眼视物变形。10a前因左眼患血管样条纹症接受激光手术,残余视力较差。右眼视力为20/60,左眼6英尺数指。眼底检查可见视网膜下出血和右侧黄斑增厚及左侧椭圆形黄斑瘢痕伴病灶萎缩性色素上皮病变。双眼有血管样条纹和橙色视网膜色素图案。外部检查发现颈部侧面和后面有几处黄色皮肤丘疹和斑块,以及明显的颏皱褶。皮肤切片病理检查证实了PXE的诊断,显示有网状真皮层深层的钙沉积和成碎片的成丛的弹性纤维。患者对玻璃体内注射贝伐单抗反应良好,右眼视力提高到20/25。强调预防保健的重要性,建议患者求助于心脏病学、胃肠病学和人类遗传学咨询服务。结论:PXE是一个累及多系统的疾病,它影响着皮肤、眼和心血管系统。在固有的皮肤变化和明显的颏皱褶的存在下,血管样条纹症和脉络膜新生血管的眼科发现能提高PXE的评估。
