When pressure in gas reservoirs fall below the dew point,condensate banking occurs around the wellbore which alters the fluid flow *** state of the knowledge on this flow behavior is yet not fully-developed;which leads to severe problems in *** this study,the Al-Hussainy,Ramey,and Crawford Solution Technique has been modified to accurately resemble the real gas flow behavior for this ***,a primary investigation was conducted to observe the severity of the problem in three condensate banked *** this study involved Constant Composition Expansion tests for determining the dew point,Prode Properties software for modeling the reservoir fluid properties,Flowing Material Balance(or Dynamic P/Z Material Balance)for identifying the pressure distribution of the selected *** real field data along with the determined(analytical,computational,and experimental)data were incorporated to check the validity of the *** modification proposes a Dimensionless Correction Factor(CD)for any condensate banked reservoir and identifies parameters such as the Perforation Factor(Pf)and Heterogeneity Factor(n).It is found that the Modified Al-Hussainy,Ramey,and Crawford Solution Technique successfully models the actual flow characteristics of the stated condition.

This article presents an innovative approach that leverages interpretable machine learning models and cloud computing to accelerate the detection of septic shock by analyzing electronic health *** traditional methods,which often lack transparency in decision-making,our approach focuses on early detection,offering a proactive strategy to mitigate the risks of *** integrating advanced machine learning algorithms with interpretability techniques,our method not only provides accurate predictions but also offers clear insights into the factors influencing the model’s ***,we introduce a preference-based matching algorithm to evaluate disease severity,enabling timely interventions guided by the analysis *** innovative integration significantly enhances the effectiveness of our *** leverage a clinical health dataset comprising 1,552,210 Electronic Health Records(EHR)to train our interpretable machine learning models within a cloud computing *** techniques like feature importance analysis and model-agnostic interpretability tools,we aim to clarify the crucial indicators contributing to septic shock *** transparency not only assists healthcare professionals in comprehending the model’s predictions but also facilitates the integration of our system into existing clinical *** validate the effectiveness of our interpretable models using the same dataset,achieving an impressive accuracy rate exceeding 98%through the application of oversampling *** findings of this study hold significant implications for the advancement of more effective and transparent diagnostic tools in the critical domain of sepsis management.

Tree biomass plays a key role in sustainable management by providing different aspects of ecosystem. Estimation of above ground biomass by non-destructive means requires the dex;elopment of allometric equations. Most researchers used DBH （diameter at breast height） and TH （total height） to develop allometric equation for a tree. Very few spe- cies-specific allometric equations are currently available for shrubs to estimate of biomass from measured plant attributes. Therefore, we used some of readily measurable variables to develop allometric equations such as girth at collar-height （GcH） and height of girth measuring point （GMH） with total height （TH） for A. rotundifolia, a mangrove species of Sundarbans of Bangladesh, as it is too dwarf to take DBH and too ir- regular in base to take Girth at a fixed height. Linear, non-linear and logarithmic regression techniques were tried to determine the best re- gression model to estimate the above-ground biomass of stem, branch and leaf. A total of 186 regression equations were generated from the combination of independent variables. Best fit regression equations were determined by examining co-efficient of determination （R：）, co-efficient of variation （Cv）, mean-square of the error （Ms^r）, residual mean error （Rmax）, and F-value. Multiple linear regression models showed more efficient over other types of regression equation. The performance of regression equations was increased by inclusion of GMn as an independ- ent variable along with total height and GCH.

Drought is the most common form of abiotic stress that reduces plant growth and *** causes plant injuries through elevated production of reactive oxygen species(ROS).Potassium(K)is a vital plant nutrient that notably ameliorates the detrimental effect of drought stress in the plant.A pot experiment was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Stress Responses,Faculty of Agriculture,Kagawa University,Japan,under controlled environment of green house to explore the role of K in mitigating drought severity in wheat(Triticum asevitum L.)*** days after germination,seedlings were exposed to three water regimes viz.,100,50,and 20%field capacity(FC)for 21 *** was adjusted in Hoagland nutrient solution at 0,6 and 12 mM concentration and applied to pot instead of normal *** show that,water deficit stress notably reduced plant growth,biomass accumulation,leaf relative water content(RWC)along with reduced photosynthetic *** amount of biochemical stress markers viz.,malondialdehyde(MDA),hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2)),methylglyoxal(MG),proline(Pro)as well as an impaired antioxidant defense system were observed in drought affected wheat *** the contrary,K supplementation resulted in improvement of biochemical and physiological parameters that worked behind in improving growth and development of the wheat *** addition,enzymes of ascorbateglutathione(AsA-GSH)cycle were also enhanced by supplemented K that accelerated the ROS detoxification process in *** glyoxalse system did not performed well till MG was detoxified might following another short stepped *** results revealed that drought stressed plants showed better performances in terms of biochemical and physiological attributes,antioxidant defense and glyoxalase system,as well as ROS detoxification due to K supplementation with better performance at 12 mM K added in 50%FC growing condition.

The heat transfer augmentation of plain twisted tape inserts for different twist ratios has been studied in this study. The data are conducted using the plain twisted tape insert with five different twist ratios respectively. The range of Reynolds number is considered under a uniform heat flux condition. In the case of simulation, the tapes are made from a stainless steel strip with a thickness of 2 mm. A tubular pipe with 850mm U-loop length and twist length of 800 mm each is considered in our study for simulation. Water is used as working fluids inside the tube for our simulation. The simulation results demonstrate that the important heat transfer parameters including Nusselt number (Nu), friction factor (f) and thermal performance index (η) are gradually increased with the increment of the twist ratio and reached at the saturated level while twist ratio is 3.5,?afterward the thermal properties are decreased.

BACKGROUND Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)is a global pandemic putting the population at a high risk of infection-related health hazards,mortality and a potential failure of proper medical ***,it is necessary to evaluate the potential use of the existing drugs that could be used as options for the medical management of COVID-19 *** To evaluate the role of the H_(2) receptor blocker“famotidine”in COVID-19 *** This study was done on seriously ill COVID-19 patients admitted to the intensive care unit(ICU)from different institutes in *** were divided into famotidine treatment group“A”(famotidine 40 mg to 60 mg oral formulation every 8 h with other treatment as given),and control group“B”(treatment as given).National early warning score(NEWS)-2,and sequential organ failure assessment day-1 score was calculated to evaluate the *** were evaluated by the time required for clinical improvement,characterized as duration required from enrollment to the achievement of NEWS-2 of≤2 maintained for 24 h;time to symptomatic recovery,defined as the duration in days(from randomization)required for the recovery of the COVID-19 symptoms;mortality rate;duration of ICU and hospital stay;total period of hospitalization;the rate of supplementary oxygen requirement;the computed tomography(CT)chest recovery(%),the time required for the viral clearance and“NEWS-2”on *** A total of 208 patients were enrolled in this study with 104 patients in each *** famotidine treatment group had comparatively better recovery of 75%and a low mortality of 25%than the control with a recovery of 70%and a mortality of 30%.Duration of clinical improvement(group A 9.53 d,group B 14.21 d);hospitalization period among the recovered patients(group A 13.04 d,group B 16.31 d),pulmonary improvement in chest CT(group A 21.7%,group B 13.2%),and the time for viral clearance(group A 20.7 d,group B 23.8 d)were found to be statistically si

In case of heteroscedasticity, a Generalized Minimum Perpendicular Distance Square (GMPDS) method has been suggested instead of traditionally used Generalized Least Square (GLS) method to fit a regression line, with an aim to get a better fitted regression line, so that the estimated line will be closest one to the observed points. Mathematical form of the estimator for the parameters has been presented. A logical argument behind the relationship between the slopes of the lines and has been placed.

本调查自2012年7月至2012年9月在孟加拉吉大港动物园进行,确诊猴发生结核病。发病猴共46只,10至21月龄恒河猕猴表现出反应迟钝、明显消瘦的症状,皮内注射结核菌素,隔离检疫3天,仅有7只猴(15.22%)表现阳性结果。结核菌素阳性动物中,5只在一个月内死亡,剖检检查在肺脏发现结核结节。肺脏样品萋尼氏抗酸染色和组织病理学检查,在染片中观察到抗酸染色的结核分枝杆菌,组织病理学观察到淋巴细胞、嗜中性白细胞和实质中高度增生的纤维组织围绕着上皮样巨噬细胞形成结核性肉芽肿,肺脏的肺泡壁增厚。上述检查结果证明猕猴发生结核病。

This paper draws attention to the prospects of sea-based economy to promote Bangladesh in a middle-income country through the sustainable use of marine resources. About three-fourths of the earth is covered by the seas. It plays the vital role in two important functions from ancient time known as the means of communication and the source of huge living and non-living natural resources. At present, the countries are becoming very much concerned about their marine resources to resolve many of the present and future challenges of their economies. Generally for Bangladesh, ocean is contributing a significant role to its overall socio-economic progress through rising up the economic activities across the country and especially to the coastal zone at southern part. This paper investigates how much Bangladesh is capable to take of or handle the challenges to become a middle income country through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In addition, it has attempted with a closer-look to find out the barriers or limitations of these activities from different angles if exist.
