Combined Promoting Effects of Specific Organic Functional Groups and Alumina Surface Characteristics for the Design of a Highly Efficient NiMo/Al_(2)O_(3) Hydrodesulfurization Catalyst

To prepare a highly efficient NiMo/Al_(2)O_(3) hydrodesulfurization catalyst,the combined effects of specific organic functional groups and alumina surface characteristics were investigated.First,the correlation between the surface characteristics of four different alumina and the existing Mo species states was established.It was found that the Mo equilibrium adsorption capacity can be used as a specific descriptor to quantitatively evaluate the changes in surface characteristics of different alumina.A lower Mo equilibrium adsorption capacity for alumina means weaker metal-support interaction and the loaded Mo species are easier to transform into MoS2.However,the Mo-O-Al bonds still exist at the metal-support interface.The introduction of cationic surfactant hecadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB)can further improve Mo species dispersion through electrostatic attraction with Mo anions and interaction of its alkyl chain with the alumina surface;meanwhile,the introduction of ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid(EDTA)can complex with Ni ions to enhance the Ni-promoting effect on Mo.Therefore,the NiMo catalyst designed using alumina with lower Mo equilibrium adsorption capacity and the simultaneous addition of EDTA and CTAB exhibits the highest hydrodesulfurization activity for 4,6-dimethyl dibenzothiophene because of its proper metal-support interaction and more well-dispersed Ni-Mo-S active phases.

Mutations in mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA)are maternally inherited and have the potential to cause severe disorders.Mitochondrial replacement therapies,including spindle,polar body,and pronuclear transfers,are promising strategies for preventing the hereditary transmission of mtDNA diseases.While pronuclear transfer has been used to generate mitochondrial replacement mouse models and human embryos,its application in non-human primates has not been previously reported.In this study,we successfully generated four healthy cynomolgus monkeys(Macaca fascicularis)via female pronuclear transfer.These individuals all survived for more than two years and exhibited minimal mtDNA carryover(3.8%–6.7%),as well as relatively stable mtDNA heteroplasmy dynamics during development.The successful establishment of this nonhuman primate model highlights the considerable potential of pronuclear transfer in reducing the risk of inherited mtDNA diseases and provides a valuable preclinical research model for advancing mitochondrial replacement therapies in humans.

New Model for Calculating Hydrogen Consumption in Residue Hydrotreating

In this paper,hydrogenation of CH to CH_(2)(HDCH reaction)was employed to simulate the hydrogen consumption during residue hydrotreating,because the pseudo components,CH and CH_(2),can be converted with the content of C and H.Through a pilot-scale experiment,a kinetic model for the HDCH reaction was constructed and it has high accuracy.By analyzing the running data of an industrial-residue hydrotreating unit,the activity change of the HDCH reaction was obtained using the active-region-migration deactivation model.The obtained HDCH activity model has high accuracy,where the frequencies of>10%relative errors are less than 1%for the CH and H contents.The hydrogen consumption model,the coupling of the HDCH kinetic model and the HDCH deactivation model,can be applied to calculate the hydrogen consumption.For case 2,where the hydrogen consumption model is adjusted every 100 days,the calculated data well match the real data compared to case 1,where the hydrogen consumption model is unadjusted over the whole runtime.

Information Protocol Equilibrium in n-insider Perfect Competition with a Random Deadline

This paper studies a model of n insiders with perfect information trading on a risky asset with value normally distributed and disclosed at a random deadline. We propose a concept of information protocol equilibrium under semi-strong efficient pricing, consisting of an n-profile of insider trading strategies with terminal residual information protocols, and find that if a common protocol on terminal residual information before trading is obeyed by all insiders, then, in the market with more than two insiders there exists a uique equilibrium only when it requires to release common partial information eventually, or it does not exist if it requires to release all or not any; but in the market with a single insider, the insider may release all private information eventually to make a maximal profit. Thereby, the existence and uniqueness of information protocol equilibrium among n insiders are deduced. Finally, numerical results illustrate some market characteristics of equilibria with different information protocols required before trading.

Kinetic Model of LCO Selective Hydrogenation on NiMoW/Al_(2)O_(3) Catalyst

In order to investigate the hydrofining process of LCO for producing aromatics and gasoline,the selective hydrogenation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs),a major component of light cycle oil(LCO),was studied using a NiMoW/Al_(2)O_(3)catalyst.Based on the study of the reversible hydrogenation reaction,PAHs in the selective hydrogenation process could be effectively simulated by the modeled CH and CH_(2) groups,and the hydrodesulfurization and hydrodenitrogenation kinetic models could be further established in this process.The results showed that the kinetic models developed could fit the experimental data effectively and predict the content of S,N,and aromatics in the selective hydrogenation products of LCO.

针对两种常见的飞机滑跑状态,即减摆状态和操纵状态,建立多自由度起落架摆振动力学模型,研究间隙对两者的影响机理,得到了两种不同形式的含间隙起落架摆振动力学数学模型。通过非光滑系统光滑化处理以及多维系统数值分析求解。结果表明,减摆状态下,起落架摆振频率会略微增大,结构库伦摩擦能够减弱结构间隙引发的持续摆振影响。对于操纵状态,通过快速傅里叶变换进行频域特性分析,发现支柱侧弯以及扭转之间耦合严重,两者的刚度直接决定起落架的摆振频率;存在结构间隙后,起落架整体的频率会变小,最终系统均会逐步趋于稳定的极限环震荡状态。

Effect of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons on the Stability of Hydrogenation Catalyst for Producing Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel

The effect of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)on the stability of the hydrogenation catalyst for production of ultra-low sulfur diesel was studied in a pilot plant using Ni-Mo-W/γ-Al_(2)O_(3)catalyst.The mechanisms of catalyst deactivation were analyzed by the methods of elemental analysis,nitrogen adsorption-desorption,thermogravimetry-mass spectrometry(TG-MS)technology,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and high resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM).The results demonstrated that PAHs had little effect on the activity of catalyst at the beginning of operation,during which the reaction temperature was increased by only 1-4℃.However,the existence of PAHs significantly accelerated the deactivation of catalyst and weakened the stability of catalyst.This phenomenon could be explained by the reason that the catalyst deactivation is not only related to the formation of carbon deposit,but is also closely related to the loss of pore volume and the decrease of Ni-W-S phase ratio after adding PAHs.

Analysis Approach to Durability Based on Material Initial Fatigue Quality and S-N Curve

Based on probabilistic fracture mechanics approach, a new concept of material initial fatigue quality （MIFQ） is developed. Then, the relation between S-N curve and crack propagation curve is studied. From the study, a new durability analysis method is presented. In this method, S-N curve is used to determine crack growth rate under constant amplitude loading and evaluate the effects of different factors on durability and then the structural durability is analyzed. The tests and analyses indicate that this method has lower dependence on testing, and higher accuracy, reliability and generality and is convenient for application.

Hydrodearomatization Kinetics of Diesel Fraction and Catalyst Stacking Simulation

The kinetics of hydrodearomatization (HDA) is studied in an isothermal high-throughput reactor over three catalysts (CoMo, NiMo, and NiMoW) to produce clean diesel fuel according to China’s latest emission standards. The influences of reaction temperature, pressure, the ratio of H2 to oil, and space time were systematically investigated. By analyzing the reaction mechanism, a four-lump kinetic model considering the influence of competitive adsorption was proposed for the hydrodearomatization reaction, and the model parameters were optimized with good fitting. It was found that nitrogen compounds inhibited the hydrodearomatization reaction. The simulation of various catalyst stacking schemes based on the HDA kinetic model is close to the experimental data, proving the reliability of the model. The concentration of aromatic compounds of different loading sequences was predicted with the catalyst gradation model.

Performance Analysis on Retractable Landing Gear and Design of Ground Test System

Landing gears are one of the key components for large or middle unmanned aerial vehicles,and their working performances directly affect flying security and aircraft taking-off and landing performance.Thus,it is meaningful to study the retraction system.Based on CATIA and ADAMS software platforms,a virtual model of landing gear retraction system is built for performance test,and then dynamic simulation is carried out.Afterwards,a test system for landing gear retraction is established,and the test data are compared with the results acquired from dynamics simulation.The main factors which affect the dynamic performance of retractable landing gear are analyzed emphatically.The simulation results show that aerodynamic load has an impact on retraction time,the mass force affects extension process,and the oil hole size of hydraulic actuator has an effect on both retraction time and extension time.
