Aerodynamic Optimization and Flow Mechanism for a Compressor Cascade at Low Reynolds Number

Low-Reynolds-number effect is an important factor affecting the performance of compressors and other main components of high-altitude long-endurance unmanned aerial *** improve the flow condition and reduce flow loss under the condition of high altitude and low Reynolds number(Re),this paper proposes an optimization process based on a surrogate model,which combines the class-shape transformation method(CST),the Latin hypercube sampling(LHS) method,the light gradient-boosting machine algorithm(LightgBM),and a genetic algorithm(gA) to optimize a high-subsonic compressor *** surrogate model is verified to be accurate and can be used in the optimization *** accuracy of the gA is higher than the other algorithms under common test *** optimization results are verified by numerical simulation,and the flow differences before and after optimization are compared,especially the flow within the boundary *** changing the blade shape,the optimization process adjusts the loading distribution to delay the transition of the optimized blade on the suction surface,which changes the turbulent reattachment in the laminar separation bubble(LSB) into laminar ***,the mixing loss induced by the turbulent reattachment of the LSB and the wake loss of turbulent separation at the trailing edge are significantly reduced,and the performance of the compressor profile is finally *** addition,turbulent separation of the optimized profile is delayed reducing the range of the wake region on the suction *** this optimization process,the reduction of total pressure loss coefficient at Re of 2.5×10～5,3.5×10～5,and 4.5×10～5 are 16.32%,20.76%,and 22.16%,respectively.

Post-tunable salt gel electrolytes toward flexible supercapacitor switches

Convertible hydrogel supercapacitors have emerged as promising energy storage devices in switches,diodes, and transistors. However, inherent weaknesses in ionic conductivity, mechanical properties,and water retention of hydrogel electrolytes seriously hinder their development. Inspired by the hardness conversion of sea cucumber skin, a conductivity and mechanics dual-tunable salt gel electrolyte is successfully designed. The salt gel presents a reversible switching of conductors-insulators and a mechanical regulation between softness and hardness via the dissolution-crystallization transition of sodium acetate trihydrate（SAT）. Meanwhile, the salt gels spontaneously grow a layer of “armor” through saturated phase-change salt crystals effectively reducing water evaporation of hydrogel ***, this phase-change soft-rigid conversion strategy will expand the capabilities of gel-based flexible supercapacitors(area capacitance: 258.6 mF cm-2), and the capacitance retention rate could still reach 86.9% after 3000 cycles at high temperatures. Moreover, the salt gel supercapacitor is potentially used in over-heat alarm systems. It is anticipated that the strategy of conductivity and mechanics of dual-tunable salt gel would provide a new perspective on the development of energy storage devices,wearable electronics, and flexible robots.

Li-ion battery is an essential component and energy storage unit for the evolution of electric vehicles and energy storage technology in the ***,in order to cope with the temperature sensitivity of Li-ion battery and maintain Li-ion battery safe operation,it is of great necessary to adopt an appropriate battery thermal management system(BTMS).In this paper,the current main BTM strategies and research hotspots were discussed from two aspects:small-scale battery module and large-scale electrochemical energy storage power station(EESPS).The practical application situation,advantages and disadvantages,and the future development trend of each heat dissipation method(air,liquid,PCM,heat pipe,hybrid cooling) were described in *** them,the air cooling and liquid cooling were reviewed in-depth based on the engineering *** PCM,heat pipe and hybrid cooling were reviewed extensively based on the latest *** research provides a comprehensive understanding for the BTMS in all scales.

Extrachromosomal DNA(ecDNA) is a form of circular DNA mostly found in tumor cells. Unlike the typical chromosomal DNA, ecDNA is circular, self-replicating, and carries complete or partial gene fragments. Although ecDNA occurrence remains a rare event in cancer, recent studies have shown that oncogene amplification on ecDNA is widespread throughout many types of cancer, implying that ecDNA plays a central role in accelerating tumor evolution. ecDNA has also been associated with increased tumor mutation burden, chromosomal instability, and even tumor microenvironment remodeling. ecDNA may be crucial in influencing tumor heterogeneity, drug sensitivity,oncogenic senescence, and tumor immunogenicity, leading to a worsening prognosis for tumor patients. In this way, several clinical trials have been conducted to investigate the importance of ecDNA in clinical treatment. In this review, we summarize the biogenesis, characteristics, and current research methods of ecDNA, discuss the vital role of ecDNA-caused tumor heterogeneity in cancers, and highlight the potential role of ecDNA in cancer therapy.

Rapid and scalable preparation of highly quaternized polymer networks to achieve efficient simultaneous adsorption of iodide and pertechnetate

The efficient separation of fission products,such as TcO4-and I-,holds strategic significance for the management of radioactive wastes and environmental *** this study,we propose an ultrafast strategy for scalable preparation of a highly quaternized organic network to facilitate efficient and synchronous separation of iodide and *** network can be prepared within a few minutes at room temperature,using polyethylenimine and 1,2,4,5-tetrakis（bromomethyl）benzene as building *** chlorine replacement,the network,abundantly decorated with quaternary ammonium groups （Cl@QPN）,exhibits an ultrahigh positive charge density of 7.6 mmol/*** enables the rapid and efficient enrichment of target anions through strong electrostatic Coulomb *** a result,Cl@QPN exhibits significantly higher adsorption rate constants of 0.830 g/（mg min） for ReO4-（a nonradioactive surrogate of TcO4-） and 0.677 g/（mg min） for I-compared to other ***,it possesses high adsorption capacities,reaching 1,681 mg/g for ReO4-and 917.4 mg/g for I-.Cl@QPN also demonstrates good selectivity towards target ions and shows efficient adsorption for99TcO4-.Additionally,Cl@QPN exhibits high dynamic processing capacities,handling up to 3,100 and 7,400 kg of simulated streams per kilogram of material for I-and ReO4-,respectively.

Brain-derived neurotrophic factor is a key factor in stress adaptation and avoidance of a social stress behavioral *** studies have shown that brain-derived neurotrophic factor expression in stressed mice is brain region–specific,particularly involving the corticolimbic system,including the ventral tegmental area,nucleus accumbens,prefrontal cortex,amygdala,and *** how brain-derived neurotrophic factor participates in stress processing in different brain regions will deepen our understanding of social stress *** this review,we discuss the expression and regulation of brain-derived neurotrophic factor in stress-sensitive brain regions closely related to the pathophysiology of *** focused on associated molecular pathways and neural circuits,with special attention to the brain-derived neurotrophic factor–tropomyosin receptor kinase B signaling pathway and the ventral tegmental area–nucleus accumbens dopamine *** determined that stress-induced alterations in brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels are likely related to the nature,severity,and duration of stress,especially in the above-mentioned brain regions of the corticolimbic ***,BDNF might be a biological indicator regulating stress-related processes in various brain regions.

Pyrite geochemistry and S-Hg Isotopes Reveal the Ore genesis of the Hydrothermal Vein-type Cuiluan Ag-Pb-Zn Deposit in NE China

The Xing'an-Mongolian orogenic belt is an important Ag-Pb-Zn metallogenic province in China. The study on the genesis of the newly discovered Cuiluan hydrothermal vein-type Ag-Pb-Zn deposit located in the Lesser Xing'an Range， within the eastern of Xing'an-Mongolian orogenic belt， is pivotal in understanding the metallogenic mechanism and regularity of Ag-Pb-Zn deposits in this region. This study utilizes pyrite trace elements and sulfur isotopic geochemistry， and mercury isotope of rocks and ores to constrain the genesis of the Cuiluan deposit. Pyrite geochemical data show that Ag exists in the form of galena inclusions (Ag++(Bi3+， Sb3+) ? Pb2+) in the polymetallic sulfide stage， and independent Ag-bearing minerals （matildite and gustavite） precipitate during the main mineralization stage. The small varied δ34S values （3.24‰ - 4.94‰） of pyrites from four hydrothermal stages are within the range of magmatic S isotopes， indicating that the ore-forming fluid of the Cuiluan deposit mainly originated from the magma. The Δ199Hg values of the ores are close to 0‰， which are consistent with the Δ199Hg values of mantle， further indicating that the ore-forming materials came from the lithospheric mantle. Combined with the regional tectonic evolution， we conclude that the plate subduction of Paleo-oceans in NE China triggered the partial melting of metasomatized mantle. The mantle-derived magma rose along the deep fractures and evolved ore-forming fluids， and finally caused the formation of Cuiluan quartz vein-type Ag-Pb-Zn deposit in the shallow crust. Accompany with previous documents， we infer that the fractures in the large-scale “granite Sea” in the Lesser Xing'an Range may have significant potential for vein-type Ag-Pb-Zn exploration.

The isothermal section of the Ho-Fe-In system at 773 K has been constructed by X-ray powder *** known structure ternary compound Er_(12)Fe_(2) In_(3)-type Ho_(12)Fe_(2) In_(3) has been *** the same time,solid solutions are not detected in Ho-Fe-In system at 773 *** magnetic transition and magnetocaloric effect of Ho_(12)Fe_(2.08)In_(2.92) alloy with Er_(12)Fe_(2) In_(3)-type structure were investigated by magnetic susceptibility and isothermal magnetization *** normal antiferromagnetic-paramagnetic transition and another abnormal one are discovered at 18 and 76 K in ground state,*** to a first-order field-induced metamagnetic transition(antiferromagnetic-ferromagnetic) at/below the Neel temperature of 18 K),the negative entropy changes are observed at corresponding *** is only a second-order ferromagnetic-paramagnetic transition near Curie temperature(TC),the maximum entropy change(Δ_(Smax)) values are-6.14 J·kg^(-1)·K^(-1) at 3 K and 7.88 J·kg^(-1)·K^(-1) at 28 K in a field range of 0-7 *** reversible relative cooling power corresponding to negative entropy change can reach about 600 J·kg^(-1) in an wide operating temperature region Δ_(Tcycl)=74 K from 16 to90 K,which suggests that Ho_(12)Fe_(2.08)In_(2.92) could be a potential material for magnetic refrigeration in the corresponding temperature range.

Precise gradient separation of nanoparticles using reduced graphene oxide-polyoxomolybdate membranes

The purification and size sieving of nanoparticles （NPs） represents a significant scientific ***,the r gO-polyoxometalates (POMs=PMo12,Mo132and Mo368) membranes were fabricated successfully via a simple and scalable POMsassisted in-situ photoreduction *** the mass ratio of r gO to PMo12was 1:30,the resultant r gO-PMo12membranes with highly ordered and uniform nanochannels of 1.0 nm can be obtained,which showed an accurate carbon quantum dots（CQDs） separation with a cut-off size approximately 1.0 *** increase of the size of the interlayered POMs from PMo12（1.0 nm）,{Mo132}（2.9 nm） to{Mo368}（3.8 nm）,the resultant r gO-PMo12,r gO-Mo132and r gO-Mo368exhibited precise gradient separation of CQDs and Au nanoparticles by size exclusion *** results pave a promising way to construct new twodimensional （2D） membranes for highly efficient size-selective separation.
