The concept of intraductal carcinoma of prostate （IDC-P） has evolved over the years and its clinieopathologic significance has come to be more clearly appreciated. In contrast to morphologically malignant intraductal lesions that represent earlier stages of the malignant process in other anatomic sites such as the breast, IDC-P has now been generally recognized as a prognostically unfavorable manifestation of later stage spreading of its invasive counterpart. We here briefly review the evolution of the IDC-P concept, the histological diagnostic criteria and differential diagnosis, the clinical significance, as well as recent molecular data of IDC-P.

Corticosteroid switching can reverse abiraterone resistance in some patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer(mCRPC).Here,we investigated the potential biomarkers for predicting the efficacy of corticosteroid switching during treatment with abiraterone acetate(AA).We retrospectively analyzed 101 mCRPC patients receiving corticosteroid switching from West China Hospital and Sun Yat-Sen University Cancer Center between January 2016 and December 2018.All cases received AA plus prednisone as first-line therapy during mCRPC.Primary end points were biochemical progression-free survival(bPFS)and overall survival(OS).The risk groups were defined based on multivariate analysis.A total of 42(41.6%)and 25(24.8%)patients achieved 30%and 50%decline in prostate-specific antigen(PSA),respectively,after corticosteroid switching.The median bPFS and median OS on AA plus dexamethasone were 4.9(95%confidence interval[CI]:3.7–6.0)months and 18.8(95%CI:16.2–30.2)months,respectively.Aldo-keto reductase family 1 member C3(AKR1C3)expression(hazard ratio[HR]:2.15,95%Cl:1.22–3.80,P=0.008)and baseline serum alkaline phosphatase(ALP;HR:4.95,95%Cl:2.40–10.19,P160 IU l−1(HR:3.41,95%Cl:1.57–7.38,P=0.002)together with PSA level at switch≥50 ng ml−1(HR:2.59,95%Cl:1.22–5.47,P=0.013)independently predicted poorer OS.Based on the predictive factors in multivariate analysis,we developed two risk stratification tools to select candidates for corticosteroid switching.Detection of serum ALP level,PSA level,and tissue AKR1C3 expression in mCRPC patients could help make clinical decisions for corticosteroid switching.

The isothermal section of the Ho-Fe-In system at 773 K has been constructed by X-ray powder diffraction.One known structure ternary compound Er_(12)Fe_(2) In_(3)-type Ho_(12)Fe_(2) In_(3) has been confirmed.At the same time,solid solutions are not detected in Ho-Fe-In system at 773 K.The magnetic transition and magnetocaloric effect of Ho_(12)Fe_(2.08)In_(2.92) alloy with Er_(12)Fe_(2) In_(3)-type structure were investigated by magnetic susceptibility and isothermal magnetization measurements.One normal antiferromagnetic-paramagnetic transition and another abnormal one are discovered at 18 and 76 K in ground state,respectively.Owing to a first-order field-induced metamagnetic transition(antiferromagnetic-ferromagnetic) at/below the Neel temperature of 18 K),the negative entropy changes are observed at corresponding temperature.There is only a second-order ferromagnetic-paramagnetic transition near Curie temperature(TC),the maximum entropy change(Δ_(Smax)) values are-6.14 J·kg^(-1)·K^(-1) at 3 K and 7.88 J·kg^(-1)·K^(-1) at 28 K in a field range of 0-7 T.The reversible relative cooling power corresponding to negative entropy change can reach about 600 J·kg^(-1) in an wide operating temperature region Δ_(Tcycl)=74 K from 16 to90 K,which suggests that Ho_(12)Fe_(2.08)In_(2.92) could be a potential material for magnetic refrigeration in the corresponding temperature range.

Scattering of waves, e.g., light, due to medium inhomogeneity is ubiquitous in physics and isconsidered detrimental for many applications. Wavefront shaping technology is a powerful tool to defeatscattering and focus light through inhomogeneous media, which is vital for optical imaging, communication,therapy, etc. Wavefront shaping based on the scattering matrix (SM) is extremely useful in handling dynamicprocesses in the linear regime. However, the implementation of such a method for controlling light in nonlinearmedia is still a challenge and has been unexplored until now. We report a method to determine the SM ofnonlinear scattering media with second-order nonlinearity. We experimentally demonstrate its feasibility inwavefront control and realize focusing of nonlinear signals through strongly scattering quadratic media.Moreover, we show that statistical properties of this SM still follow the random matrix theory. The scattering-matrix approach of nonlinear scattering medium opens a path toward nonlinear signal recovery, nonlinearimaging, microscopic object tracking, and complex environment quantum information processing.

Differential privacy has recently become a widely recognized strict privacy protection model of data release.Differential privacy histogram publishing can directly show the statistical data distribution under the premise of ensuring user privacy for data query,sharing,and analysis.The dynamic data release is a study with a wide range of current industry needs.However,the amount of data varies considerably over different periods.Unreasonable data processing will result in the risk of users’information leakage and unavailability of the data.Therefore,we designed a differential privacy histogram publishing method based on the dynamic sliding window of LSTM(DPHP-DL),which can improve data availability on the premise of guaranteeing data privacy.DPHP-DL is integrated by DSW-LSTM and DPHK+.DSW-LSTM updates the size of sliding windows based on data value prediction via long shortterm memory(LSTM)networks,which evenly divides the data stream into several windows.DPHK+heuristically publishes non-isometric histograms based on k-mean++clustering of automatically obtaining the optimal K,so as to achieve differential privacy histogram publishing of dynamic data.Extensive experiments on real-world dynamic datasets demonstrate the superior performance of the DPHP-DL.

In this study,selective dealumination of Beta zeolites was performed through partially removing the templating agent in Beta zeolites by calcination and then removing the aluminum on the external surface of Beta zeolites with acid treatment.Hydrocracking catalysts were prepared by loading WO_(3)onto these dealuminated Beta zeolites.It was shown that the surface SiO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3)of selectively dealuminated Beta zeolites was higher than that of conventionally dealuminated samples for the same bulk SiO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3),and the hydrogenation activity of the catalyst of the selectively dealuminated Beta zeolites was lower than that of conventionally dealuminated Beta zeolites.The experimental results for tetralin hydrocracking to BTX showed that the catalysts based on the selectively dealuminated Beta zeolites had higher BTX selectivity and lower coke formation rate than that the catalysts based on the conventionally dealuminated Beta zeolites.

The Dongying Depression is an important petrolifeous province,with diverse source rocks and complex petroleum distribution patterns.A total of 32 crude oils were analyzed by the gas chromatographyemass spectrometry and isotopic compositions to better understanding the petroleum systems in the study area.Three oil types were classified by hierarchical cluster analyses.Type I and II oils have closely correlation with the discovered source rocks,which have been confirmed to be mainly derived from the lower third and upper forth member of the Eocene Shahejie Formation source rocks(Es3^(L) and Es4^(U)),respectively.Obviously,type III oils contain abundant gammacerane,tricyclic terpanes and C_(29) steranes and have lower values of δ13C than type I and II oils,indicating a completely different source rock and biological origins.Until recently,type III oils fail to match any of the discovered source rock,which contains main contribution of aquatic organism or/and bacteria inputs.In addition,the spacial distribution of these three oil types were discussed.Type I oils mainly distributed in the Es3 and Es4 reservoirs that closed to the generative kitchens.Type II oils occurred in the Es4 reservoirs in the sourthern slope of the depression,which probably caused by lateral migration along the horizontal fractures and sandstone layers within the Es4 interval.Differently,type III oils in the sourthern slope of the depression were mainly discovered in the Eocene Kongdian or Ordocician reservoirs,which suggests great exploration potential of deep underlying strata.

Gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)is common during pregnancy,with the prevalence reaching as high as 31.0%in some European regions(McIntyre et al.,2019).Dysfunction of the glucose metabolism in pregnancy can influence fetal growth via alteration of the intrauterine environment,resulting in an increased risk of abnormal ofispring birth weight(McIntyre et al.,2019).Infants with abnormal birth weight will be foced with increased risks of neonatal complications in the perinatal period and chronic non-communicable diseases in childhood and adulthood(Mitanchez et al.,2015;McIntyre et al.,2019).

Oxidative stress plays an important role in the pathogenesis of aminoglycoside-induced hearing loss and represents a promising target for treatment.We tested the potential effect of apigenin,a natural flavonoid with anticancer,anti-inflammatory,and antioxidant activities,on neomycin-induced ototoxicity in cochlear hair cells in vitro.Results showed that apigenin significantly ameliorated the loss of hair cells and the accumulation of reactive oxygen species upon neomycin injury.Further evidence suggested that the nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2)signaling pathway was activated by apigenin treatment.Disruption of the Nrf2 axis abolished the effects of apigenin on the alleviation of oxidative stress and subsequent apoptosis of hair cells.This study provided evidence of the protective effect of apigenin on cochlear hair cells and its underlying mechanism.
