Influence of different cultivars of Phoenix dactylifera L-date fruits on blood clotting and wound healing

Objective: To investigate different types of dates and medical properties of influencing blood clotting and wound healing in an animal model. Methods: Three different cultivars of dates(Ajwa, Khalas, and Fardh) were examined in-vivo, for blood clotting and wound healing using CD1 mice of both sexes. Study of toxicity to animals was performed accordingly prior to further investigations. The ethanolic extracts were given orally to animals as a constituent in their daily water. Blood samples were obtained from the mice inferior vena cava to carry out the prothrombin time(PT) assay using the manual method and confirmed using a semi-automated machine. The bleeding time(BT) assay was performed using the cutting technique. In the wound healing analysis, a small cut(5-10 mm) in the skin overlying the thigh was conducted in all mice under anesthesia. The diameter of the cut and healing status were measured on a daily basis throughout the time of the experiment using a roller. Results: Ajwa was able to elevate both PT and BT(Pnificantly in a time-dependent manner followed by Khalas date(Pni Khalas date fruit has both antithrombotic as well as wound healing properties. The results open a new gate with these fruits for exploring the potential component(s) that may play an important role in antithrombotic as well as wound healing process.

The scalable coherent interface (SCI) is an IEEE standard whose basic topology is ringlet, a kind of buffer insertion ,ring. SCI ring allows more than one message transfer concurrentlywhich brings difficulty on modeling SCI ring analytically. This paper presents an analytic expression on mean transfer delay using M/G/1 queuing model with non-preemptive priority. A preliminary performance study is also presented.;;

Entanglement and Teleportation via Thermally Entangled State of Anisotropic Heisenberg XYZ Chain with Inhomogeneous External Magnetic Field

In this paper we study the entanglement in a two-qubit spin in the XYZ model, and teleport a two-qubit entangled state using this spin chain in the condition of the thermal equilibrium as a quantum channel. We investigate the effects of the interaction of z-component jz, the inhomogeneous magnetic field b, the anisotropy γ and the temperature T on the entanglement and fidelity. In order to characterize the quality of the teleported state, we research the average fidelity Fα. High average fidelity of the teleportation is obtained when the temperature is very low. Under some condition, we also find that when innomogeneity increases to a certain value, the average fidelity can exhibit a larger revival than that for less values of b.

Epithelial and stromal tissues are components of the tumor microenvironment and play a major role in tumor initiation and *** stroma from epithelial tissues is critically important for spatial characterization of the tumor ***,we propose BrcaSeg,an image analysis pipeline based on a convolutional neural network(CNN)model to classify epithelial and stromal regions in whole-slide hematoxylin and eosin(H&E)stained histopathological *** CNN model is trained using well-annotated breast cancer tissue microarrays and validated with images from The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)*** achieves a classification accuracy of 91.02%,which outperforms other state-of-the-art *** this model,we generate pixel-level epithelial/stromal tissue maps for 1000 TCGA breast cancer slide images that are paired with gene expression *** subsequently estimate the epithelial and stromal ratios and perform correlation analysis to model the relationship between gene expression and tissue *** Ontology(GO)enrichment analyses of genes that are highly correlated with tissue ratios suggest that the same tissue is associated with similar biological processes in different breast cancer subtypes,whereas each subtype also has its own idiosyncratic biological processes governing the development of these *** all together,our approach can lead to new insights in exploring relationships between image-based phenotypes and their underlying genomic events and biological processes for all types of solid *** can be accessed at https://***/Serian1992/ImgBio.
