The effects of C/N ratio of a nitrate-containing wastewater on nitrate removal performed by autohydrogenotrophic bacteria as well as on the morphological parameters of floc such as floc morphology, floc number distribution, mean particle size（MPS）, aspect ratio and transparency were examined in this study. The results showed that the nitrate reduction rate increased with increasing C/N ratio from 0.5 to 10 and that the nitrogen removal of up to 95% was found at the C/N ratios of higher than 5（between 0.5–10）. Besides, high C/N ratio values reflected a corresponding high nitrite accumulation after 12-hr operation, and a fast decreasing rate of nitrite in the rest of operational time. The final p H values increased with the C/N ratio increasing from 0.5 to 2.5, but decreased with the C/N ratio increasing from2.5 to 10. There were no significant changes in floc morphology with the MPSs ranging from35 to 40 μm. Small and medium-sized flocs were dominant in the sludge suspension, and the number of flocs increased with the increasing C/N ratios. Furthermore, the highest apparent frequency of 10% was observed at aspect ratios of 0.5 and 0.6, while the transparency of flocs changed from 0.1 to 0.7.

Mining industrial areas with anthropogenic engineering structures are one of the most distinctive features of the real world.3D models of the real world have been increasingly popular with numerous applications,such as digital twins and smart factory *** this study,3D models of mining engineering structures were built based on the CityGML *** collecting spatial data,the two most popular geospatial technologies,namely UAV-SfM and TLS were *** accuracy of the UAV survey was at the centimeter level,and it satisfied the absolute positional accuracy requirement of creat-ing all levels of detail(LoD)according to the CityGML ***,the UAV-SfM point cloud dataset was used to build LoD 2 *** addition,the comparison between the UAV-SfM and TLS sub-clouds of facades and roofs indicates that the UAV-SfM and TLS point clouds of these objects are highly consistent,therefore,point clouds with a higher level of detail and accuracy provided by the integration of UAV-SfM and TLS were used to build LoD 3 *** resulting 3D CityGML models include 39 buildings at LoD 2,and two mine shafts with hoistrooms,headframes,and sheave wheels at LoD3.

This paper presents a study on the optimum determination of partial transmission ratios of a mechanical drive system using a V-belt and a helical gearbox with second-step double gear-sets in order to get the minimum size of the system. The chosen objective function was the cross section dimension of the system. In the optimization problem, the design equation for pitting resistance of a gear set was investigated and equations on moment equilibrium condition of a mechanic system including a V-belt and a helical gearbox with second-step double gear-sets and their regular resistance condition were analysed. Based on the results of the study, effective formulas for calculation of the partial ratios of the V-belt and a helical gearbox with second-step double gear-sets were proposed. By using explicit models, the partial ratios can be determined accurately and simply.

This paper presents a new study on optimum calculation of partial ratios of three-step helical gearboxes. The chosen objective function is the cross section dimension of the gearbox. The outstanding advantage of digital signal processing (DSP) techniques and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technology is capable of improving the quality of the experimental measurements for nuclear radiation. In this article, a compact DMCA 8 K was designed and manufactured using DSP technique based on FPGA technology. In particular, the output of the preamplifier is completely processed by digital techniques which are obtained from the analog-to-digital converter (ADC) to calculate the baseline, DC offset, energy peaks, pile up, threshold discrimination and then the form of energy spectrum. The Spartan-6 board is used as a hardware for the development of the digital multichannel analyzer (DMCA), which is equipped with the 14-bit AD6645 with 62.5 Msps sample rate. The application software for instrument control, data acquisition and data processing was written under C++ builder via the RS-232 interface. The designed DMCA system has been tested with a HPGe detector using gamma sources of 60Co and 137Cs and a reference pulser.
