The purpose of this study was to determin. the abovegroun. biomass den.ity, blue carbon.stock, an. mon.tary value of the man.roves at Bakhawan.Eco-Park Man.rove Plan.ation.in.n.w Buswan., Kalibo, Aklan. There were 21, 45 × 45-meter sampled plots established, equivalen. to 5% samplin. in.en.ity of the plan.ation.s total area. The n.mber of sample plots was distributed in.proportion.to the area of the plan.ation.in.the specific year it was established. The quadran. an. ran.om samplin. methods were used. All trees in.a quadran. were iden.ified, an. the biomass den.ity was calculated usin. the wood den.ity of various man.rove species. Carbon.stock was calculated by multiplyin. the biomass den.ity by 0.46 or 0.5. The mon.tary value of C was calculated usin. the ben.fits tran.fer method at $5/ton. The results showed that the plan.ation.established in.1990 had the highest biomass den.ity (Mg/ha) an. carbon.stock (Mg/ha) with 132 Mg/ha an. 66.02 Mg/ha, while the plan.ation.established in.2015 had the lowest biomass den.ity an. carbon.stock (Mg/ha) with 69.98 Mg/ha an. 34.99 Mg/ha. Overall, the estimated total mon.tary value of Bakhawan.Eco-Park of 250 hectares man.rove plan.ation.in.n.w Buswan., Kalibo, Aklan.is PhP 2994771.63.
