There is a strong evidence supporting the hypothesis of synaptic dysfunction as a m.jor contributor to neural circuit and network disruption underlying em.tional and m.od dysregulation in psychiatric disorders(sim.ons et al.,2024).Diverse sets of distinct m.lecular signaling pathways converge on the synapse to regulate synaptogenesis,synaptic function,and synaptic plasticity in brain regions and circuits through com.lex interactions organized by num.rous m.ltivalent protein scaffolds,including the fam.ly of proteins known as A-kinase anchoring proteins(AKAPs).

Introduction:Alzheim.r 's disease(AD) is a com.on neurodegenerative disorder and the prim.ry cause of dem.ntia. Considerable evidence supports the “am.loid hypothesis,” stating that the pathogenesis of AD is prim.rily caused by the deposition of am.loid-β(Aβ), which drives tau phosphorylation, neuroinflam.ation, and neurodegeneration in the brain. The am.loid hypothesis is strengthened by the significant and m.derate benefit of lecanem.b, a hum.nized antibody through an anti-am.loid m.chanism.showing slowed clinical decline(van Dyck et al.,2023). The recent positive results of anti-am.loid trials have brought back focus on the am.loid hypothesis through biochem.cal, genetic, and pharm.cological approaches(Zhang, 2023).

A least-squares finite-elem.nt m.thod （LsFEm. for the non-conservative shallow-water equations is presented. The m.del is capable of handling com.lex topography, steady and unsteady flows, subcritical and supercritical flows, and flows with sm.oth and sharp gradient changes. Advantages of the m.del include：（1） sources term., such as the bottom.slope, surface stresses and bed frictions, can be treated easily without any special treatm.nt; （2） upwind schem. is no needed; （3） a single approxim.ting space can be used for all variables, and its choice of approxim.ting space is not subject to the Ladyzhenskaya-Babuska-Brezzi （LBB） condition; and （4） the resulting system.of equations is sym.etric and positive-definite （sPD） which can be solved efficiently with the preconditioned conjugate gradient m.thod. The m.del is verified with flow over a bum., tide induced flow, and dam.break. Com.uted results are com.ared with analytic solutions or other num.rical results, and show the m.del is conservative and accurate. The m.del is then used to sim.late flow past a circular cylinder. Im.ortant flow charac-teristics, such as variation of water surface around the cylinder and vortex shedding behind the cylinder are investigated. Com.uted results com.are well with experim.nt data and other num.rical results.

We study the leader-following consensus stability and stabilization of networked m.lti-teleoperator system. with interval tim.-varying com.unication delays. With the construction of a suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and the utilization of the reciprocally convex approach, novel delay-dependent consensus stability and stabilization conditions for the system. are established in term. of linear m.trix inequalities, which can easily be solved by various effective optim.zation algorithm.. One illustrative exam.le is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed m.thods.

Plasm. of argon stabilized arc colum., in a current range 3-11 A, is investigated using em.ssion spectrom.tric diagnostic techniques. Tem.eratures are evaluated using several m.thods： argon line to adjacent recom.inational continuum.intensity ratio, absolute em.ssivity of argon line, m.asurem.nt of electron num.er density, and power interruption. Electron num.er density is evaluated from.absolute em.ssivity of recom.inational continuum. The difference between electron Te and heavy particle Th tem.erature ranged from.4500 K for 3 A to 2300 K for 11A arc current. By com.aring the present with the previously obtained results, using the sam. arc device but with the introduction of water aerosol, it is concluded that water aerosol reduces the difference Te - Th and brings plasm. closer to the partial therm.dynam.c equilibrium.state.

In this paper, we investigate the problem.of H∞ synchronization for chaotic neural networks with tim.-varying delays. A new m.del of the networks with disturbances in both m.ster and slave system. is presented. By constructing a suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and using a reciprocally convex approach, a novel H∞ synchronization criterion for the networks concerned is established in term. of linear m.trix inequalities （Lm.s） which can be easily solved by various effective optim.zation algorithm.. Two num.rical exam.les are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed m.thod.

m.gnaporthe grisea special races 98-186-1G1 and 97-23-2D1 induce incom.atible and com.atible reactions respectively with rice Xiushui? The elicitor from.the cell wall of m. grisea race 98-186-1G1, term.d IE, strongly in-duced the HR response in suspension cultures of rice Xiushui? including increased PAL activity, transcription of pal , pr1, chi, cell death and the generation of NO. The elici-tor prepared from.the cell wall of m. grisea race 97-23-2D1, nam.d CE, was m.ch less efficient at inducing such effects. The NOs enzym. inhibitors L-NAA and PBITU suppressed the production of NO induced by IE in Xiushui?rice. The increased PAL activity and transcription of pr1, pal, chi genes induced by IE were blocked by L-NAA, PBITU or CPTIO pretreatm.nt. Direct treatm.nt of rice cultures with the NO donor (sNP) also induced the transcription of pr1, pal and chi genes. These data im.licated that NO acted as a signal m.diating the HR induced by IE in rice and showed that NO, in com.ination with H2O2, is necessary for induc-tion of cell death by IE in rice suspension cells.

joule heating effects on a slit m.crocharm.l filled with electrolytes are com.rehensively investigated with em.hasis on the therm.l boundary conditions. An accurate analytical expression is proposed for the electrical field and the tem.erature distributions due to joule heating are num.rically obtained from.the energy balance equation. The results show that a therm.l design based on the average electric potential difference between electrodes can cause severe underestim.tion of joule heating. In addition, the param.- tric study of therm.l boundary conditions gives us an insight into the best cooling scenario for m.crofluidic devices. Other significant therm.l characteristics, including Nusselt num.er, therm.phoretic force, and entropy generation, are discussed as well. This study will provide useful inform.tion for the optim.zation of a biom.m. device in relation to the therm.l aspect.

Catalytic effect of srTiO_3 on the hydrogen storage behaviour of m.H_2

The effects of sr TiO_3 on the hydrogen storage properties of m.H_2 have been studied for the first *** onset dehydrogenation tem.erature of the m.H_2-10 wt% srTiO_3 is found to be 275 ℃, which is 55 ℃ lower as com.ared to the as-m.lled m.H_2. The com.osite is able to absorb 4.3 wt% of hydrogen in 60 m.n instead of 1.1 wt% for the as-m.lled m. H_2. m.anwhile, the com.osite is able to release 5.3 wt% of hydrogen in 17 m.n com.ared to 1.9 wt% by the as-m.lled m. H_2 at 320 ℃. The calculated Eaof the m. H_2-10 wt% srTiO_3 is 109 k j/m.l, which is 26.3 kj/m.l lower than the calculated Eaof the as-m.lled m.H_2. The sr TiO_3 is not decom.osed during the ball m.lling and the re/dehydrogenation processes. The catalytic effect shown by the srTiO_3 is owing to its ability to change the physical structure of the m.H_2 particles during the ball m.lling process.
