The study assessed the relationship between exposure to stress and posttraumatic symptoms among nurses and physicians in a Jendouba general hospital. Hospital staff who were exposed to stress were assessed for posttraumatic stress disorder. High levels of stress symptoms were found in physicians and nurses. Logistic regression analysis showed that nurses had an increased risk for posttraumatic stress disorder factors characterized by negative behavior to patient, increased workload excessive ambiguity and role conflict and the lack of free. These findings showed that nurses suffered from more severe posttraumatic symptoms compared to physicians after exposure to prolonged stress. The gap between physicians and nurses warrants further study.

In order to apply the terminal sliding mode control to robot manipulators,prior knowledge of the exact upper bound of parameter uncertainties,and external disturbances is ***,this bound will not be easily determined because of the complexity and unpredictability of the structure of uncertainties in the dynamics of the *** resolve this problem in robot control,we propose a new robust adaptive terminal sliding mode control for tracking problems in robotic *** applying this adaptive controller,prior knowledge is not required because the controller is able to estimate the upper bound of uncertainties and ***,the proposed controller can eliminate the chattering effect without losing the robustness *** stability of the control algorithm can be easily verified by using Lyapunov *** proposed controller is tested in simulation on a two-degree-of-freedom robot to prove its effectiveness.

An efficient protein extraction method is crucial to ensure successful separation by two-dimensional electrophoresis （2-DE） for recalcitrant plant species, in particular for grapevine （Vitis vinifera L.）. Trichloroacetic acid-acetone （TCA-acetone） and phenol extraction methods were evaluated for proteome analysis of leaves and roots from the Tunisian cultivar ＇Razegui＇. The phenol-based protocol proved to give a higher protein yield, a greater spot resolution, and a minimal streaking on 2-DE gels for both leaf and root tissues compared with the TCA-based protocol. Furthermore, the highest numbers of detected proteins on 2-DE gels were observed using the phenol extraction from leaves and roots as compared with TCA-acetone extraction.

Traffic management aims to ensure a high quality of service for most users by decreasing congestion and increasing safety. However, uncertainty regarding travel time decreases the quality of service and leads end-users to change their routes and schedules even when the average travel time is low, Indicators describing travel time reliability are being developed and should be used in the future both for the optimization and the assessment of active traffic management operation. This paper describes a managed lane experience on a motorway weaving section in France - hard shoulder running operation in rush hours. The paper is focused on travel time reliability indicators and their use for reliability assessment. It provides some discussions about the advantages and drawbacks of reliability indicators under different traffic conditions. It particularly shows the difference between using buffer times and buffer indexes. The paper also discusses the difficulty of interpreting the skew of travel time distribution for travel reliability,

This study aimed to evaluate the milk clotting capacity (MCA), and caseinolytic activity (CA) of crude coagulant from the stomachs of adult rabbits (RC), and their influence on the composition, proteolysis, and texture of type Prato cheese. We tested two ways for salting the abomasum and three levels of pH and times for enzyme activation. The presence of enzymes and caseinolytic activity in RC was assayed by SDS-PAGE. The effects of three pH levels and the milk’s temperature on RC’s water-holding capacity (WHC) were evaluated. Brazilian Prato cheese type was developed and its proximate composition, texture, and change during ripening were assessed. The saturated NaCl solutions (37%, m/v) were more efficient for enzyme extraction from adult rabbit stomachs, and conditions of pH of 4.3 for 24 h showed better performance for enzyme activation into RC. An early and more active proteolytic reaction of RC on bovine caseinate was appreciated at the first 5 min of digestion when compared to commercial chymosin (CC). The water holding capacity of gel coagulated by RC was optimum at pH 6.4 and 37°C and is highly dependent on pH and temperature parameters. Total dry extract and fat were higher for treatment coagulated with RC. Conversely, hardness, gumminess, and chewability were lower in the same treatment. Yield, protein content, and changes that occurred during the ripening stage of cheeses were similar for both treatments, demonstrating that casein proteolysis was developed in a similar way. Coagulants from adult rabbits’ stomachs can be used to make semi-cooked curd cheeses.

Isolation and characterization of facultative mixotrophic ammonia-oxidizing bacteria from constructed wetlands

Autotrophic ammonia-oxidizing bacteria （AOB） have been widely studied in constructed wetlands systems, while mixotrophic AOB have been less thoroughly examined. Heterotrophic bacteria were isolated from wastewater and rhizospheres of macrophytes of constructed wetlands, and then cultivated in a mixotrophic medium containing ammonium and acetic acid. A molecular characterization was accomplished using ITS-PCR amplification, and phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene Sequences. Results showed the presence of 35 bacteria, among 400 initially heterotrophic isolates, that were able to remove ammonia. These 35 isolates were classified into 10 genetically different groups based on ITS pattern. Then, a collection of 10 isolates were selected because of their relatively high ammonia removal efficiencies （ARE≥ 80%） and their phylogenetic diversity. In conditions of mixotrophy, these strains were shown to be able to grow （increase of optical density OD660 during incubation with assimilation of nitrogen into cellular biomass） and to oxidize ammonia （important ammonia oxidation efficiencies, AOE between 79% and 87%）. Among these facultative mixotrophic AOB, four isolates were genetically related to Firmicutes （Bacillus and Exiguobacterium）, three isolates were affiliated to Actinobacteria （Arthrobacter） and three other isolates were associated with Proteobacteria （Pseudomonas, Ochrobactrum and Bordetella）.

This paper proposes a higher order sliding mode controller for uncertain robot manipulators. The motivation for using high order sliding mode mainly relies on its appreciable features, such as high precision and elimination of chattering in addition to assure the same performance of conventional sliding mode like robustness. Instead of a regular control input, the derivative of the control input is used in the proposed control law. The discontinuity in the controller is made to act on the time derivative of the control input. The actual control signal obtained by integrating the derivative control signal is smooth and chattering free. The stability and the robustness of the proposed controller can be easily verified by using the classical Lyapunov criterion. The proposed controller is tested to a three-degree-of-freedom robot to prove its effectiveness.

Several methods of characterization of trap levels like I-V, C-V and transient spectroscopy (DLTS) were used to determine the accurate values of the activation energies of traps present in N+P junctions obtained after retrograde profile implantation of indium and boron on silicon. Four main traps located at Ev + 0.15 eV, Ev + 0.21 eV, Ev + 0.28 eV and Ev + 0.46 eV are reported. Shallow levels are also calculated from I-V characteristics. Concurrently, indium channel doped NMOSFETs are investigated showing the kink phenomenon. In order to discuss the relationship between the kink effect and the active indium trap level situated at 0.16 eV, the transient effects are studied by varying the integration time and the temperature. The effects of substrate polarization are also carried out showing the reduction of the kink with the bulk positive polarization.
