Rationale: Disseminated cysticercosis is characterized by presence of cysts in multiple body organs, like brain, skin, eyes, muscles and rarely heart and *** concerns: A 22-year-old man presented with bilateral proptosis of 1-year duration. He also had two episodes of cysticercosis encephalitis. In the second episode of encephalopathy, the patient ***: Disseminated ***: Corticosteroids(Initially intravenous dexamethasone 0.4 mg/kg/day for 2 weeks, followed by oral prednisolone 1.0 mg/kg/day).Outcomes: The patient died of cysticercosis encephalitis approximately 2 months ***: Disseminated cysticercosis in our case presented only with proptosis as he had very heavy infestation of the brain and eyes. Heavy larval infestation in a patient with disseminated cysticercosis can be life-threatening.

Electric load forecasting is an efficient tool for system planning, and consequently, building sustainable power systems. However, achieving desirable performance is difficult owing to the irregular, nonstationary, nonlinear, and noisy nature of the observed data. Therefore, a new attention-based encoderdecoder model is proposed, called empirical mode decomposition-attention-long short-term memory(EMD-Att-LSTM).EMD is a data-driven technique used for the decomposition of complex series into subsequent simpler series. It explores the inherent properties of data to obtain the components such as trend and seasonality. Neural network architecture driven by deep learning uses the idea of a fine-grained attention mechanism, that is, considering the hidden state instead of the hidden state vectors, which can help reflect the significance and contributions of each hidden state dimension. In addition, it is useful for locating and concentrating the relevant temporary data,leading to a distinctly interpretable network. To evaluate the proposed model, we use the repository dataset of Australian energy market operator(AEMO). The proposed architecture provides superior empirical results compared with other advanced models. It is explored using the indices of root mean square error(RMSE) and mean absolute percentage error(MAPE).

In the present study,we have synthesized Ag2Te nanoparticles using the hydrothermal method and showed significant improvement in the thermoelectric properties compared to the bulk Ag2Te ***2Te nanoparticles showed the highest figure of merit(zT)of 1.37 at 373 K,which is the highest zT reported for this undoped *** high zT in Ag2Te nanoparticles is mainly due to about~2 times higher electrical conductivity(1967 S/cm)and subsequently~2 times lower thermal conductivity(0.53 W/(m$K))as compared to the bulk Ag2Te *** higher electrical conductivity in Ag2Te nanoparticles can be accredited for two reasons(i)better mobility of the charge carrier and(ii)increased carrier *** low thermal conductivity is associated with the enhanced scattering of phonons at the interface of the Ag2Te nanoparticles.

Comparison of wear behavior of ABS and Nylon6-Fe powder composite parts prepared with fused deposition modelling

Fused deposition modeling(FDM) is one of the latest rapid prototyping techniques in which parts can be manufactured at a fast pace and are manufactured with a high accuracy. This research work is carried out to study the friction and wear behavior of parts made of newly developed Nylon6-Fe composite material by FDM. This work also involves the comparison of the friction and wear characteristics of the Nylon6-Fe composite with the existing acrylonitrile butadiene styrene(ABS) filament of the FDM machine. This Is carried out on the pin on disk setup by varying the load(5, 10, 15 and 20 N) and speed(200 and 300 r/min). It is concluded that the newly developed composite is highly wear resistant and can be used in industrial applications where wear resistance is of paramount importance. Morphology of the surface in contact with the Nylon6-Fe composite and ABS is also carried out.

Preparation of LDPE-Acetylated/Butyrylated Starch Blend Blow Films and Characterization

Development of modified plastics has been studied through the LDPE-acylated starch blend films to examine the effect of different acyl groups and degrees of substitution （DS） on properties of films. Corn starch was modified with acetyl and hutyryl groups and films were prepared by blending acylated starch with low density polyethylene （LDPE）. Systematic studies were done to observe the effect of acyl groups, DS and starch concentration on the properties and biodegradability of the blend films. It was observed that blend films containing 5% acetylated and butyrylated starches of high DS （2.5, 1.7） maintained 75% and 83% of tensile strength of LDPE films. Thermal analysis results indicated that acetylated and butyrylated starch blend films decomposed at 370℃ and 389℃ which were higher than the decomposition temperature of native starch film （349℃）. Scanning electron micrographs of blend films containing high DS acylated starch showed well dispersed starch particles due to improvement in dispersion between starch and LDPE. Water absorption capacity of high DS acetylated and butyrylated starch blend films （4.18% and 3.76%, respectively） was lower than that of native starch films （5%）. This study has an advantage because of blown films prepared can be integrated with the present manufacturing systems without any other requirement.

Varicocele-associated male infertility has classically been managed using surgery or assisted reproductive techniques. With increasing evidence of oxidative stress as a pathophysiological factor in varicocele-associated infertility, medical therapy especially antioxidants might become a treatment option with lower risks. We reviewed the existing literature on the role of various medical agents in the management of male infertility attributed to varicoceles. Medical therapy is typically evaluated in three different situations such as （a） comparison of two drugs or one drug with placebo, （b） comparison of drugs versus surgery, and （c） comparison of drugs as adjuvant therapy with surgery versus drug therapy alone. Due to heterogeneity of data and lack of well-conducted studies, there is insufficient data to recommend routine use of medical therapy for men with varicocele-associated infertility and surgery remains the treatment of choice. Pregnancy and live birth rates are usually not reported in most studies and mere improvement in sperm parameters or antioxidant capacity is insufficient to support its routine use. Antioxidant therapy is a potential option due to its theoretical benefit, data from preclinical studies, and lack of major side effects. Adjuvant therapy with antioxidants after surgical repair of varicocele may improve the outcome and is a potential area for further research.

Dielectric and rotational viscosity measurements of a multi-component ferroelectric liquid crystal mixture were performed by adding a small concentration （0.01 wt%） of silica and multi walled carbon nanotubes （MWCNTs）. Liquid crystals turn out to be outstanding hosts for nanomaterials. A remarkable increase in the rotational viscosity was noticed in CNT doped system as compared to silica doped same liquid crystal system. Comparison of dielectric studies shows higher value of permittivity and dielectric losses for silica-doped sample than those of CNT doped sample. The results have been interpreted both experimentally and theoretically.

The laser-induced effects on dielectric properties of chalcogenide glass(Ch Gs) have been present in a glassy system of Se–Te–Sn–Cd for possible applications in optics and optoelectronics such as light-controlled capacitance-based touch displays. The temperature/frequency dependence of dielectric relaxation before and after laser exposure was investigated by using laser sources of different wavelengths(405 nm, 532 nm, 690 nm, and 785 nm). The result showed the presence of laser-induced residual effects on dielectric properties(dielectric constant/loss and a.c. conductivity) after the exposure of continuous-wave laser sources of chosen *** analysis indicates that the modification in the meta-stable state due to self-organization is the feasible mechanism of observed persistent light-sensing effects.

As an improtant cryptographic scheme, signcryption scheme has been widely used in applications since it could provide both of signature and encryption. With the development of the certificateless public key cryptography （CLPKC）, many certificatelss signcryption （CLSC） schemes using bilinear pairing hve been proposed. Comparated other operations, the bilinear pairing operaion is much more compulicated. Therefore, CLSC scheme without bilinear pairing is more suitable for applications. Recently, Jing et al. proposed a CLSC scheme without bilinear pairing and claimed their scheme is secure against two types of adversaries. In this paper, we will show their scheme provide neither unforgeability property nor confidentiality property. To improve security, we also propose a new CLSC scheme without pairing and demonstrate it is provably secure in the random oracle model.
