Methane(CH_(4) )and dimethylsulphoniopropionate(DMsP)are major carbon and sulfur sources for bacterioplankton in the *** investigated the characteristics of CH_(4) and DMsP in the southern Yap Trench from sea surface to hadal zone in June *** found that concentrations of CH_(4) varied from 1.5 to 4.5 nmol/L with saturation between 94% and 204% in the euphotic *** of dissolved DMsP(DMsPd)ranged from 0.5 to 3.7 nmol/L with higher values in surface water and decreased with *** of particulate DMsP(DMsPp)varied from 0 to 13.6 nmol/*** of total DMsP(DMsPt)ranged 2.0-15.2 nmol/*** concentrations decreased slightly and reached consistent levels in 200-3000-m depth due probably to heterotrophic bacterial production in marine aphotic and high-pressure *** exception occurred around 4000-m depth where their concentrations increased considerably and then decreased in deeper *** previously unrecognized phenomenon sheds light on the elevated concentrations of DMsP in the abyssal layer that might be affected by the Lower Circumpolar Deep Water(LCPW).Concentrations of CH_(4) in seawater of the Benthic Boundary Layer of the southern Yap Trench were slightly higher than those in the water column at approximate depth,and concentrations of DMsP in seawater of the Benthic Boundary Layer of the southern Yap Trench were not much higher than those in the water column at the approximate depth,indicating that sediment was a weak source of CH_(4) but was not a source of DMsP for seawater in the study *** study presented clear correlations between CH_(4) and DMsP from sea surface to sea bottom,proving that DMsP might be a potential substrate for CH_(4) not only in oxic surface seawater but also in deep water.

This paper describes the shape optimization of an impeller used for two-stage high pressure ring *** shape variables,which are used to define an impeller shape,are introduced to increase the blower *** pressure of a blower is selected as an object function,and the blade optimization is performed by a response surface ***-dimensional Navier-stokes equations are introduced to analyze the internal flow of the blower and to find the value of object function for the training *** good agreement between experimental measurements and numerical simulation is obtained in the present *** the shape optimization,it is found that a hub height is effective to increase pressure in the ring *** pressure rise for the optimal two-stage ring blower is successfully increased up to 1.86% compared with that of reference at the design flow *** recirculation flow having low velocity is formed in both sides of the impeller outlet by different flow direction of the inlet and outlet of the *** flow field inside the ring blower is also analyzed and discussed.

sheet metal formed of lightweight materials such as aluminum sheeting has received great attention related to the reduction of vehicle emissions. This paper evaluates the anisotropic yield locus using Kuwabara＇s biaxial tensile tester and stretches formability using Hecker＇s hemispheri- cal punch stretching test for aluminum 6016-T4 sheet material. The anisotropic yield locus of the A16016-T4 sheet measured is fitted well by the modified Drucker yield func- tion. Moreover the best fitting to the experimental stress- strain curve from the tensile test was obtained by taking an appropriate hardening model. Analytical study to predict the stretch formability by using Hora＇s Modified Maximum Force Criterion （MMFC） was performed. The predicted forming limit curves （FLC） based on various yield functions were compared with the experiments and discussed.

The tensile properties of 22Cr–2Ni–4Mn–0.2N micro-duplex stainless steels with different Ni and Mn contents were investigated. Duplex stainless steels were vacuum induction melted and hot rolled, then annealed at 1,000–1,100 °C, at which temperature both the austenite and ferrite phases were stable. The volume fraction of the ferrite phase was markedly affected by the alloying elements of Mn and Ni; 1 wt% of Mn was equivalent to 0.4 wt% of Ni. All of the steels tested at room temperature showed the common strain-hardening behavior, while the steels tested at lower temperatures（-30 or-50 °C）showed a distinct inflection point in their stress–strain curves, which resulted from the transformation of the austenite to straininduced martensite. The onset strain（e0） of the inflection point in the stress–strain curve depended on the Md30 value of the steel. Testing at lower temperatures resulted in smaller e0 and consequently higher strengths and fracture strains（ef）. The tensile behavior was examined from the perspective of austenite stability of the micro-duplex stainless steels with the different Ni and Mn contents.

Most of the spare ordering policies treated up to now have assumed that preventive and corrective replacement costs are equal, which implies in essential that there is no significant need for preventive replacement. This paper presents an ordering policy for preventive age replacement with minimal repair. Introducing the replacement, repair, inventory holding and shortage costs, the expected cost rate is derived. A procedure to determine jointly the ordering time for a spare and the preventive replacement time for the operating unit so as to minimize the expected cost rate is proposed. To explain the ordering policy and the optimization procedure, a numerical example is also included.

During last decades,organic solar cells(OsCs)have achieved remarkable advancements via extensive studies on the optimization of photovoltaic donor/acceptor(D/A)materials,device fabrication,and the D/A bulk heterojunction *** conversion efficiencies(PCEs)up to〜16%for single junction cells and over 17%PCEs were successfully demonstrated for tandem OsC devices[1,2].OsCs may find real industrial applications soon,including building integrated photovoltaics,portable power sources and indoor power generation for low power consumption electronic devices(i.e.,internet of things(IOT)sensors).Among them,indoor applications have great potentials because OsCs can convert indoor lights into electricity more efficiently compared to inorganic counterparts[3].

AIM:To determine if longer battery life improves capsule endoscopy(CE) completion ***:A retrospective study was performed at a tertiary,university-affiliated hospital in Vancouver,*** who underwent CE with either PillCamTM sB2 or sB2 U between 01/2010 and 12/2013 were considered for ***2 and sB2 U share identical physical dimensions but differ in their battery lives(8 h vs 12 h).Exclusion criteria included history of gastric or small bowel surgery,endoscopic placement of CE,interrupted view of major landmarks due to technical difficulty or significant amount of debris,and repeat CE using same *** demographics,comorbidities,medications,baseline bowel habits,and previous surgeries were *** of major landmarks in CE were recorded,and used to calculate gastric transit time,small bowel transit time,and total recording time.A complete CE study was defined as visualization of *** times and completion rates were ***:Four hundred and eight patients,including 208(51.0%) males,were included for *** mean age was 55.5 ± 19.3 *** most common indication for CE was gastrointestinal bleeding(n =254,62.3%),followed by inflammatory bowel disease(n =86,21.1%).There was no difference in gastric transit times(group difference 0.90,95%CI:0.72-1.13,P =0.352) and small bowel transit times(group difference 1.07,95%CI:0.95-1.19,P =0.261) between sB2 U and sB2,but total recording time was about 14% longer in the sB2 U group(95%CI:10%-18%,P s a corresponding trend toward higher completion rate(88.2% vs 93.2%,OR =1.78,95%CI 0.88-3.63,P =0.111).There was no statistically significant difference in the rates of positive findings(OR =0.98,95%CI:0.64-1.51,P =0.918).CONCLUsION:Extending the operating time of CE may be a simple method to improve completion rate although it does not affect the rate of positive findings.

With the increasing presence of robots in our daily life,there is a strong need and demand for the strategies to acquire a high quality interaction between robots and users by enabling robots to understand users’mood,intention,and other *** human-human interaction,personality traits have an important influence on human behavior,decision,mood,and many ***,we propose an efficient computational framework to endow the robot with the capability of understanding the user’s personality traits based on the user’s nonverbal communication cues represented by three visual features including the head motion,gaze,and body motion energy,and three vocal features including voice pitch,voice energy,and mel-frequency cepstral coefficient(MFCC).We used the Pepper robot in this study as a communication robot to interact with each participant by asking questions,and meanwhile,the robot extracts the nonverbal features from each participant’s habitual behavior using its on-board *** the other hand,each participant’s personality traits are evaluated with a *** then train the ridge regression and linear support vector machine(sVM)classifiers using the nonverbal features and personality trait labels from a questionnaire and evaluate the performance of the *** have verified the validity of the proposed models that showed promising binary classification performance on recognizing each of the Big Five personality traits of the participants based on individual differences in nonverbal communication cues.
