The global concerns of energy crisis and climate change,primarily caused by carbon dioxide(CO_(2)),are of utmost ***,the electrocatalytic CO_(2) reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR) to high value-added multi-carbon(C_(2+)) products driven by renewable electricity has emerged as a highly promising solution to alleviate energy shortages and achieve carbon *** these C_(2+) products,ethylene(C_(2)H_(4))holds particular importance in the petrochemical ***,this review aims to establish a connection between the fundamentals of electrocatalytic CO_(2) reduction reaction to ethylene(CO_(2)RRto-C_(2)H_(4)) in laboratory-scale research(lab) and its potential applications in industrial-level fabrication(fab).The review begins by summarizing the fundamental aspects,including the design strategies of high-performance Cu-based electrocatalysts and advanced electrolyzer ***,innovative and value-added techniques are presented to address the inherent challenges encountered during the implementations of CO_(2)RR-to-C_(2)H_(4) in industrial ***,case studies of the technoeconomic analysis of the CO_(2)RR-to-C_(2)H_(4) process are discussed,taking into factors such as costeffectiveness,scalability,and market *** review concludes by outlining the perspectives and challenges associated with scaling up the CO_(2)RR-to-C_(2)H_(4) *** insights presented in this review are expected to make a valuable contribution in advancing the CO_(2)RR-to-C_(2)H_(4) process from lab to fab.

中国式法治现代化是在中国式现代化范式下形成的标识性概念。法治、中国式、现代化三个关键词的相互关系,深蕴着中国式法治现代化概念的法理逻辑,即法治是现代化事业的内在构成、法治是实现现代化的外在保障、中国式现代化是法治变革的强大动力。这一法理逻辑,在历史道路上体现为逐层展开的“实践三问”,即要法治还是要人治、走什么样的法治道路、创造什么样的法治形态;在新征程上,要求中国式法治现代化建设从促进和保障社会公平正义、培育中国式现代化的法治有机体、全面推进国家各方面工作法治化等角度持续推进;在价值意蕴上揭示出中国式法治现代化的文明表征,即以幸福生活权彰显人权文明、以法典化彰显制度文明、以法治体系彰显治理文明、以“两个结合”为路径方法推进中华法治文明发展进步。

Converting TRex-RGB green-channel data to 557.7 nm auroral intensity:Methodology and initial results

The recently deployed Transition Region explorer(TRex)-RGB(red-green-blue)all-sky imager(ASI)is designed to capture“true color”images of the aurora and *** the 557.7 nm green line is usually the brightest emission line in visible auroras,the green channel of a TRex-RGB camera is usually dominated by the 557.7 nm *** this rationale,the TRex mission does not include a specific 557.7 nm imager and is designed to use the RGB green-channel data as a proxy for the 557.7 nm *** this study,we present an initial effort to establish the conversion ratio or formula linking the RGB green-channel data to the absolute intensity of 557.7 nm auroras,which is crucial for quantitative uses of the RGB *** illustrate two approaches:(1)through a comparison with the collocated measurement of green-line auroras from the TRex spectrograph,and(2)through a comparison with the modeled green-line intensity according to realistic electron precipitation flux measurements from low-earth-orbit satellites,with the aid of an auroral transport *** demonstrate the procedures and provide initial results for the TRex-RGB ASIs at the Rabbit Lake and Lucky Lake *** RGB response is found to be *** conversion ratios or formulas between RGB green-channel data and the green-line auroral intensity are given and can be applied immediately by TRex-RGB data *** methodology established in this study will also be applicable to the upcoming SMILe ASI mission,which will adopt a similar RGB camera system in its deployment.

Aging is a contributor to liver ***,the concept of liver aging has become prominent and has attracted considerable interest,but its underlying mechanism remains poorly *** our study,the internal mechanism of liver aging was explored via multi-omics analysis and molecular experiments to support future targeted *** aged rat liver model was established with D-galactose,and two other senescent hepatocyte models were established by treating HepG2 cells with D-galactose and *** then performed transcriptomic and metabolomic assays of the aged liver model and transcriptome analyses of the senescent hepatocyte *** livers,genes related to peroxisomes,fatty acid elongation,and fatty acid degradation exhibited down-regulated expression with aging,and the hepatokine Fgf21 expression was positively correlated with the down-regulation of these *** senescent hepatocytes,similar to the results found in aged livers,FGF21 expression was also ***,the expressions of cell cycle-related genes were significantly down-regulated,and the down-regulated gene e2F8 was the key cell cycle-regulating transcription *** then validated that FGF21 overexpression can protect against liver aging and that FGF21 can attenuate the declines in the antioxidant and regenerative capacities in the aging *** successfully validated the results from cellular and animal experiments using human liver and blood *** study indicated that FGF21 is an important target for inhibiting liver aging and suggested that pharmacological prevention of the reduction in FGF21 expression due to aging may be used to treat liver aging-related diseases.

Spinal cord injury results in significant sensorimotor deficits,currently,there is no curative treatment for the symptoms induced by spinal cord *** and pre-clinical research on spinal cord injury relies on the development and characterization of appropriate animal *** models should replicate the symptoms observed in human,allowing for the exploration of functional deficits and investigation into various aspects of physiopathology of spinal cord ***-human primates,due to their close phylogenetic association with humans,share more neuroanatomical,genetic,and physiological similarities with humans than ***,the responses to spinal cord injury in nonhuman primates most likely resemble the responses to traumatism in *** this review,we will discuss nonhuman primate models of spinal cord injury,focusing on in vivo assessments,including behavioral tests,magnetic resonance imaging,and electrical activity recordings,as well as ex vivo histological ***,we will present therapeutic strategies developed in non-human primates and discuss the unique specificities of non-human primate models of spinal cord injury.

We introduce a method to find differential equations for functions which define tables,such that associated billiard systems admit a local first *** illustrate this method in three situations:the case of(locally)integrable wire billiards,for finding surfaces in R^(3)with a first integral of degree one in velocities,and for finding a piece-wise smooth surface in R^(3)homeomorphic to a torus,being a table of a billiard admitting two additional first integrals.

Dear editor,Numerous aspects of ecosystem ecology are influenced by insects(Prasad,2022).Herbivory of plant organs by insects may influence the biogeochemistry of forests by changing the speed of litter decomposition(Schowalter,2022).Cycas micronesica *** is the only native gymnosperm in the Mariana *** once-abundant tree experienced no known lethal threats prior to the 2003 invasion of Guam by the scale Aulacaspis yasumatsui Takagi(Marler,2012).This insular case study has been the subject of abundant research(Marler et al.,2021).Changes to leaf litter chemistry improved litter quality following *** infestations(Marler and Dongol,2016),but the prediction of increased decomposition speed has not been confirmed with experimental incubations.

Mechanically strong magnesium-doped Ca-silicate bioceramic scaffolds have many advantages in repairing large segmental bone *** we combine β-TCP with 6 mol%magnesium-doped calcium silicate(Mg6)at three different ratios(TCP,TCP+15%Mg6,TCP+85%Mg6)to find an appropriate ratio which can exert considerable influence on bone *** this study,the bioceramic scaffolds were assessed for mechanical strength,bioactive ion release,biocompatibility,and osteogenic capacity through in vitro ***,the potential for promoting bone regeneration was investigated through in vivo implantation of porous tube-like *** results showed that the compressive strength increased with the augmentation of Mg6 *** the compressive strength of the TCP+85%Mg6 group reached 38.1±3.8 MPa,three times that of the other two ***,extensive in vivo investigations revealed that the TCP+85%Mg6 bioceramic scaffolds were particularly beneficial for the osteogenic capacity of critical-sized femoral defects(20 mm in length).Altogether,magnesium doping in bioceramic implants is a promising strategy to provide stronger mechanical support and enhance osteogenesis to accelerate the repair of large defects.
