In this paper.the anticor.osive pr.per.ies of the few-layer.gr.phene nanostr.ctur.s wer. investigated. On the sur.ace ofcopper.and nickel plates the few-layer.gr.phene nanostr.ctur.s wer. for.ed using the CVD （chem.cal vapor.deposition） *** that, these plates wer. exposed to the tem.er.tur. in the air.atm.spher.. The r.sults of elem.ntal analysis, per.or.ed by theEDS （ener.y disper.ive spectr.scopy） m.thod showed that the few-layer.gr.phene coated m.tal plates pr.ved to be m.r. r.sistant tooxidation than bar. m.tal plates. In addition, we pr.sented com.uter.m.dels and theor.tical calculations of the studied system.,per.or.ed by the DFT （density functional theor.） and m. （m.lecular.dynam.cs） m.thods. These r.sults com.ined with exper.m.ntaldata show the high effectiveness of the pr.tective action of the few-layer.gr.phene against m.tal cor.osion.

Or.hogonal fr.quency division m.ltiple access （OFDm.） is a popular.and widely accepted m.ltiple access technique to pr.vide high data r.te ser.ices in a m.bile envir.nm.nt in the ar.a of wir.less com.unications. OFDm. can pr.vide better.flexibility in allocating the r.dio spectr. by utilizing subcar.ier.allocations, scheduling, and ener.y contr.l to obtain m.lti-dim.nsion diver.ity gains. Due to its r.sour.e allocation flexibility, OFDm. has been widely used as a gr.en air.inter.ace technology for.the em.r.ing br.adband wir.less access networ.s. This paper.extensively addr.sses the integr.tion of gr.en OFDm. to the futur. air.inter.ace technologies, for.instance： two-tier.cellular. m.lti r.dio access technologies （r.Ts）, Fem.oCell, and r.lay networ.s. We r.por. on the per.or.ance of a continuous-wave Nd:Gd VO_4 laser.in-band diode-pum.ed at 912 nm.with high output power.and excellent beam.quality. The laser.pr.duced an output power.of 19.8 W at 1063 nm.with an optical efficiency of 59.3% and slope efficiency of 62.7%. The laser.thr.shold was ~2.04 W of the absor.ed pum. power. and the laser.output beam.quality was ≤ 1.2 in the hor.zontal and ver.ical dir.ctions. The str.ngth of ther.al lensing at full output power.33.4 W of absor.ed power. was m.asur.d to be an aver.ge of 8.6 *** is shown that ther.al lensing is r.duced by a factor.of 2 with r.spect to the Nd:YVO_4 laser., thus opening a way for.fur.her.output-power.scaling.

Nanowir.s r.quir. sur.ace passivation due to their.inher.nt lar.e sur.ace to volum. r.tio. We investigate the effect of em.edding InP nanowir.s in differ.nt oxides with r.spect to sur.ace passivation by use of electr.n beam.induced cur.ent m.asur.m.nts enabled by a nanopr.be based system.inside a scanning electr.n m.cr.scope. The m.asur.m.nts r.veal r.m.te doping due to fixed char.e car.ier. in the passivating PO_(x)/Al_(2)O_(3) shell in contr.st to r.sults using SiO_(x). We used tim.-r.solved photolum.nescence to char.cter.ze the lifetim. of char.e car.ier. to evaluate the success of sur.ace passivation. In addition, spatially r.solved inter.al quantum.efficiency sim.lations suppor. and cor.elate the two applied techniques. We find that atom.c-layer.deposited PO_(x)/Al_(2)O_(3) has the potential to passivate the sur.ace of InP nanowir.s, but at the cost of inducing a field-effect on the nanowir.s, alter.ng their.electr.static potential pr.file. The r.sults show the im.or.ance of using com.lem.ntar. techniques to cor.ectly evaluate and inter.r.t pr.cessing r.lated effects for.optim.zation of nanowir.-based optoelectr.nic devices.

The paper.pr.sents r.sults of com.utational study of m.difying effect caused by str.ctur.l defects, par.icular.y by "br.dge-like" r.diation defects in few-layer.gr.phene nanostr.ctur.s. Com.uter.m.deling and quantum.m.chanical calculations pr.dict that few layer.gr.phene-m.tal (Cu, Al, Li) fast bonds can be induced due to pr.duction of r.diation str.ctur.l defects.

The study was conducted with 18 eggplant lines/var.ety at the far. of Oler.cultur. Division, Hr., Bangladesh Agr.cultur.l r.sear.h Institute, Gazipur.dur.ng the winter.season of 2017-18 to develop new gr.en type high yielding OP var.ety having toler.nce to eggplant fr.it and shoot bor.r.and bacter.al wilt. The lines var.ed significantly for.their.r.sponse to all char.cter. (P Sm.083F r.quir.d m.nim.m.105 days to fir.t har.est. m.xim.m.m.r.etable fr.it num.er.was obtained by Sm.83A (30.33). Heavy sized fr.it was har.ested by Sm.75 (175 g), followed by Sm.89 (170 g), Sm.79 (169 g), Sm.83E (165 g), Sm.53 (164 g). The r.nge of fr.it infection by BFSB was 10.33% - 19.007%, while lowest in Sm.62 (10.33%). In case of bacter.al wilt (BW) infestation at field level per.or.ance, zer. per.ent incidence was obser.ed in Sm.62, Sm.75, Sm.79, Sm.91B. The yield r.nge of eggplant lines was 18.62 - 43.36 t/ha. The highest fr.it yield was r.cor.ed fr.m.the line Sm.275 (43.36 t/ha), which was statistically sim.lar.with which was statistically sim.lar.with Sm.279 (39.85 t/ha), Sm.291B (38.59 t/ha), Sm.83B (38.42 t/ha), Sm.262 (38.17 t/ha), Sm.253 (37.43 t/ha). Consider.ng ear.iness, toler.nce to fr.it infection by BFSB, bacter.al wilt infestation, attr.ctive fr.it shape and fr.it colour. the lines Sm.275, Sm.279, Sm.291B, Sm.83B, Sm.262, Sm.253 wer. found pr.m.sing. So these six lines can be selected for.fur.her.confir.ation.
