The COVID-19 outbreak and its medical distancing phenomenon have effectively turned the global healthcare challenge into an opportunity for Telecare Medical Information *** systems employ the latest mobile and digital technologies and provide several advantages like minimal physical contact between patient and healthcare provider,easy mobility,easy access,consistent patient engagement,and *** leakage or unauthorized access to users’medical data can have serious consequences for any medical information *** majority of such systems thus rely on biometrics for authenticated access but biometric systems are also prone to a variety of attacks like spoong,replay,Masquerade,and stealing of stored *** this article,we propose a new cancelable biometric approach which has tentatively been named as“Expression Hash”for Telecare Medical Information *** idea is to hash the expression templates with a set of pseudo-random keys which would provide a unique code(expression hash).This code can then be serving as a template for *** expressions would result in different sets of expression hash codes,which could be used in different applications and for different roles of each *** templates are stored on the server-side and the processing is also performed on the *** proposed technique is a multi-factor authentication system and provides advantages like enhanced privacy and security without the need for multiple biometric *** the case of compromise,the existing code can be revoked and can be directly replaced by a new set of expression hash *** well-known JAFFE(The Japanese Female Facial Expression)dataset has been for empirical testing and the results advocate for the efcacy of the proposed approach.

Numerical Solution of Casson Fluid Flow under Viscous Dissipation and Radiation Phenomenon

This article numerically investigates the 2D, steady, laminar, incompressible fluid flow, mass and heat transfer of a non-Newtonian fluid model induced by stretching surface. A Casson fluid model is considered to study the non-Newtonian behavior of the flowing fluid. The magnetic field and a porous medium are considered in the flow momentum, whereas the viscous dissipation is also taken into account in the energy transport phenomena. To see the fluid concentration, the concentration equation is used. Furthermore, the Nusselt number coefficient and skin friction are modified with the addition of nonlinear stretching and radiation parameters. With the similarity transformation, the nonlinear governing partial differential equations are transformed into a system of ordinary differential equations and then numerically solved using a fourth-order Runge-Kutta scheme with the shooting method. The relevant parameters of interest are interpreted for graphical results. The results illustrate that the fluid energy increases effectively with an increase in the Eckert number, radiation parameter, and heat source parameter, while it decreases by increasing the Prandtl number and heat sink parameter. Both the wall skin friction and the wall Nusselt number coefficient decelerate with an increase in the Casson parameter.

Dynamic instability of decentralized wind energy farms is a major issue to deliver continuous green energy to electricity *** instability is caused by variations of voltage and frequency parameters due to intermittencies in wind ***,droop control and inverter-based schemes have been proposed to regulate the voltage by balancing reactive power,while inertial control,digital mapping tech-nique of proportional-integral-differential(PID)controller and efficiency control strategy have been developed to regulate the *** this paper,voltage stability is improved by a new joint strategy of distribution static compensator(DSTATCOM)six-pulse controller based reactive power management among decentralized wind turbines and controlled charging of capacitor *** frequency stability is ensured by a joint coordinated utilization of capacitor bank and distributed wind power turbines dispatching through a new DSTATCOM six-pulse controller *** both strategies,power grid is contributed as a backup source with less *** new joint strategies for voltage and frequency stabilities will enhance the stable active power delivery to end users.A system test case is developed to verify the proposed joint *** test results of the proposed new schemes are proved to be effective in terms of stability improvement of voltage,frequency and active power generation.

Microwave-assisted pre-ionization experiments on GLAST-Ⅲ

GLAss Spherical Tokamak(GLAST-Ⅲ)is a spherical tokamak with an insulating vacuum vessel that has a unique single-passage capability for incident *** this work,electron cyclotron resonance heating(ECRH)-assisted plasma pre-ionization in GLAST-Ⅲis explored for three radio-frequency(RF)polarizations(the O-,X-,and M-modes)at different toroidal-field(TF)strengths and filled gas *** optimum hydrogen pressure is identified for efficient plasma pre-ionization.A comparison of the plasma pre-ionizations initiated by the O-,X-,and M-modes shows prominent differences in the breakdown time,location,and wave *** the case of O-mode polarization,microwave absorption occurs for a relatively shorter duration,resulting in a bell-shaped electron-temperature(Te)temporal *** absorption is dominant in the case of the X-mode,leading to a broader Te temporal *** M-mode discharge contains features of both the X-and *** plasma pre-ionization is achieved in the X-mode polarization for the intermediate TF strengths(with a central toroidal magnetic field B0=0.075 T).Traces of the electron-number density show a similar tendency,as revealed by *** results suggest that the X-mode is the best candidate for efficient plasma pre-ionization at low filled gas pressures(10-2 Pa)in small tokamaks.

Helicity-multiplexed metasurfaces based on symmetric spin–orbit interactions (SOIs) have practical limits because they cannot provide central-symmetric holographic imaging. Asymmetric SOIs can effectively address such limitations, with several exciting applications in various fields ranging from asymmetric data inscription in communications to dual side displays in smart mobile devices. Low-loss dielectric materials provide an excellent platform for realizing such exotic phenomena efficiently. In this paper, we demonstrate an asymmetric SOI-dependent transmission-type metasurface in the visible domain using hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) nanoresonators. The proposed design approach is equipped with an additional degree of freedom in designing bi-directional helicity-multiplexed metasurfaces by breaking the conventional limit imposed by the symmetric SOI in half employment of metasurfaces for one circular handedness. Two on-axis, distinct wavefronts are produced with high transmission efficiencies, demonstrating the concept of asymmetric wavefront generation in two antiparallel directions. Additionally, the CMOS compatibility of a-Si:H makes it a cost-effective alternative to gallium nitride (GaN) and titanium dioxide (TiO2) for visible light. The cost-effective fabrication and simplicity of the proposed design technique provide an excellent candidate for high-efficiency, multifunctional, and chip-integrated demonstration of various phenomena.
