Emotion Recognition in Conversations(ERC)is fundamental in creating emotionally ***-BasedNetwork(GBN)models have gained popularity in detecting conversational contexts for ERC ***,their limited ability to collect and acquire contextual information hinders their *** propose a Text Augmentation-based computational model for recognizing emotions using transformers(TA-MERT)to address *** proposed model uses the Multimodal Emotion Lines Dataset(MELD),which ensures a balanced representation for recognizing human *** used text augmentation techniques to producemore training data,improving the proposed model’s *** encoders train the deep neural network(DNN)model,especially Bidirectional Encoder(BE)representations that capture both forward and backward contextual *** integration improves the accuracy and robustness of the proposed ***,we present a method for balancing the training dataset by creating enhanced samples from the original *** balancing the dataset across all emotion categories,we can lessen the adverse effects of data imbalance on the accuracy of the proposed *** results on the MELD dataset show that TA-MERT outperforms earlier methods,achieving a weighted F1 score of 62.60%and an accuracy of 64.36%.Overall,the proposed TA-MERT model solves the GBN models’weaknesses in obtaining contextual data for ***-MERT model recognizes human emotions more accurately by employing text augmentation and transformer-based *** balanced dataset and the additional training samples also enhance its *** findings highlight the significance of transformer-based approaches for special emotion recognition in conversations.

Appearance-based dynamic Hand Gesture Recognition(HGR)remains a prominent area of research in Human-Computer Interaction(HCI).Numerous environmental and computational constraints limit its real-time *** addition,the performance of a model decreases as the subject’s distance from the camera *** study proposes a 3D separable Convolutional Neural Network(CNN),considering the model’s computa-tional complexity and recognition *** 20BN-Jester dataset was used to train the model for six gesture *** achieving the best offline recognition accuracy of 94.39%,the model was deployed in real-time while considering the subject’s attention,the instant of performing a gesture,and the subject’s distance from the *** being discussed in numerous research articles,the distance factor remains unresolved in real-time deployment,which leads to degraded recognition *** the proposed approach,the distance calculation substantially improves the classification performance by reducing the impact of the subject’s distance from the ***,the capability of feature extraction,degree of relevance,and statistical significance of the proposed model against other state-of-the-art models were validated using t-distributed Stochastic Neighbor Embedding(t-SNE),Mathew’s Correlation Coefficient(MCC),and the McNemar test,*** observed that the proposed model exhibits state-of-the-art outcomes and a comparatively high significance level.

Hypothyroidism—A Question towards Quality and Patient Centricity

The metabolic and endocrine disorders are either increasing across the globe or may have been observed with more focus in recent years. It is not uncommon now to find out neither patients of endocrine and metabolic disorders nor a physician of the associated diseases. There were 42 million people who had thyroid disorders including hypothyroidism according to the survey of endocrine society of India. Hypothyroidism is said when less activity of thyroid glands is observed then the normal. So, to evaluate the quality standard, empowerment and patient centricity in Pakistan with present prevalence of hypothyroidism in different age groups, gender along with the prescribed medication against pre diagnosed disease and associated co-morbidities, the study is designed with a questionnaire development including both qualitative and quantitative variables. Study was conducted on various OPD’s, profit and not for profit secondary and tertiary care hospitals and consultant clinics during July 2013 to jan 2014 and it was given consideration to include people from all areas of life with minimization of any unforeseen biasness and comprehensive data. After full filling the inclusion criteria, 102 patients were selected as study participants. After completion and reviewing the questionnaire, data were analyzed by 21.00 SPSS version. Chi square/ fisher test, spearmen’s rank correlation were applied for categorical quantitative variable. Paired t test before and after were applied for qualitative variable. Highly significant reliability of items in the questionnaire was found along with inter item correlation (P < 0.05). Out of 102 patients of the study, 80 patients fell into the inclusion criteria, while 22 were excluded. A total of 80 patients were registered in the incorporate duration. Among the total samples 36 (42.9%) were males and 44 (52.4%) were females. Mean age males and females included in the study were 34.89 ± 17.73 and 33.36 ± 13.73 years respectively. The systolic an
