Impact of aridization on soil cover transformation of the Aral Sea and the modern Syr-Darya Delta

The effects of human activities on the soil cover transformation in the eastern part of Kazakhstan were investigated during the period of *** results of the research for different soil types in Priaralye indicated that there was 643.3×103 hm2 solonchaks,accounting for 38.5 % of the total area（1670.5×10^3 hm^2） in *** areas are occupied with dried lakeshore soil（311.1× 10^3 hm^2）,sandy soils（147.6×10^3 hm^2） and grey-brown desert soils and solonetzes（146.7×10^3 hm^2）.In 2001 the area of solonchak was 755×103 hm2 and decreased to 643.3×10^3 hm^2 in 2008,which due to the shrinkage of the Aral Sea,the areas of marsh and lakeshore solonchaks decreased with the increase of dried bottom of the Aral *** level of soil cover transformation in the modern delta of the Syr-Darya River can be seen from the comparison of the results obtained from the different years in the study *** area of solonchaks increased by 10×10^3 hm^2 and the area of alluvial-meadow salinizied soils increased by 17.9×10^3 hm^2 during the period of *** means that many non-salinizied soils were transformed into salinizied *** changes occurred in the structure of soil cover as a result of ***,the researches in1969 significantly determined the areas of hydromorphic soils subjected to desertification（it was not fixed on the map before 1956）.Later,these soils were transformed into takyr-like *** area of takyr-like soils increased almost by 3 times for 34 years（from 1956 to 1990）.The long-term soil researches on soil cover transformation in Priaralye have shown that the tendencies of negative processes（salinization and deflation） are being kept and lead to further soil and eco-environment degradation in the region.

Data on zooplankton from 13 high-mountain lakes of East Siberia have shown that the Holarctic copepod Cyclops scutifer Sars,1863 dominates among *** July,its abundance comprised 64%-98%of the total plankton fauna in the pelagial of these lakes,approximately 30%in the littoral zone and10%in small northern thermokarst *** measurements and morphological descriptions based on scanning microscope images are supplemented by the data on its geographic distribution and phenology.

Tumor cell death visualization of renal cell carcinoma under the combined effect of the Gratiola officinalis extract and cyclophosphamide using fluorescent staining methods

Early prophylaxis of preeclampsia in women at risk for changes in spiral arteries

【Objective】 To investigate the possibility of early prophylaxis of preeclampsia by mean of investigation of uteroplacental blood flow(UPB) and feto-placental complex FPC function in pregnant women with suspected dysfunction of spiral arteries and clinical signs of preeclampsia.【Method】 90 pregnant women were included in a prospective cohort study in the term of gestation from 9 to 40 *** main clinical group consisted of 70 women,divided into two groups: the first-pregnant with the risk of PE,the others-with the clinical manifestation of *** and radioimmunoassay studies(determination of estradiol and placental lactogen(PL) in the peripheral blood),ultrasound examination with Doppler flow in the arteries of the uterus and the measurement of qualitative characteristics of the analysis of blood flow-resistance index(RI) and pulsatility index(PI),the ratio of systolic pressure for diastolic(ABP) were *** in the group of risk was directed to the correction of vascular blood flow and intravascular component(antiplatelet agents,antispasmodics,sedatives drugs,vitamins) and was conducted in terms of 9-12 weeks duration during 12-14 *** the subgroup with PE-similar treatment in terms of 28-30 weeks.【Result】 In pregnant women of the group of risk for PE abnormal spiral artery blood flow parameters(RI,PI,ABP) in the uterine arteries were registered,indicating increased peripheral vascular resistance in the placental pool in early pregnancy,just as marked reduction of the hormonal activity of forming placental complex which testifies early placental ***,conducted in early pregnancy could significantly improve,but not normalize blood flow.【Conclusion】 Conduction of a Doppler examination for blood flow of the placenta may provide early diagnose of infusion-perfusion failure of placenta,and the appointment of a pathogenic therapy,that will provide an opportunity to avoid the development of placenta failure and PE in an group of ris

Capital mobility in Latin American and Caribbean countries: new evidence from dynamic common correlated effects panel data modeling

This study investigates the degree of capital mobility in a panel of 16 Latin American and 4 Caribbean countries during 1960 to 2017 against the backdrop of the Feldstein-Horioka hypothesis by applying recent panel data *** is the first study on capital mobility in Latin American and Caribbean countries to employ the recently developed panel data procedure of the dynamic common correlated effects modeling technique of Chudik and Pesaran(J Econ 188:393–420,2015)and the error-correction testing of Gengenbach,Urbain,and Westerlund(Panel error correction testing with global stochastic trends,2008,J Appl Econ 31:982–1004,2016).These approaches address the serious panel data econometric issues of crosssection dependence,slope heterogeneity,nonstationarity,and endogeneity in a multifactor error-structure *** empirical findings of this study reveal a low average(mean)savings–retention coefficient for the panel as a whole and for most individual countries,as well as indicating a cointegration relationship between saving and investment *** results indicate that there is a relatively high degree of capital mobility in the Latin American and Caribbean countries in the short run,while the long-run solvency condition is maintained,which is due to reduced frictions in goods and services markets causing increase *** capital mobility in these countries can promote economic growth and hasten the process of globalization by creating a conducive economic environment for FDI in these countries.

Deep Learning-Enabled Brain Stroke Classification on Computed Tomography Images

In the field of stroke imaging, deep learning (DL) has enormousuntapped *** clinically significant symptoms of a cerebral strokeare detected, it is crucial to make an urgent diagnosis using available imagingtechniques such as computed tomography (CT) scans. The purpose of thiswork is to classify brain CT images as normal, surviving ischemia or cerebralhemorrhage based on the convolutional neural network (CNN) model. In thisstudy, we propose a computer-aided diagnostic system (CAD) for categorizingcerebral strokes using computed tomography images. Horizontal flip datamagnification techniques were used to obtain more accurate *** Data Generator to magnify the image in real time and apply anyrandom transformations to each training image. An early stopping method toavoid overtraining. As a result, the proposed methods improved several estimationparameters such as accuracy and recall, compared to other machinelearning methods. A python web application was created to demonstrate theresults of CNN model classification using cloud development techniques. Inour case, the model correctly identified the drawing class as normal with 79%accuracy. Based on the collected results, it was determined that the presentedautomated diagnostic system could be used to assist medical professionals indetecting and classifying brain strokes.

Effect of WC/Ni-Cr additive on changes in the composition of an atmospheric residue in the course of cracking

The paper presents the results of investigation of changes in the composition of hydrocarbons and sulfur-containing compounds of an atmospheric residue in the course of cracking in the presence of a tungsten carbide-nickel-chromium(WC/Ni-Cr)catalytic additive and without *** cracking is carried out in an autoclave at 500℃for 30 *** addition of the WC/Ni-Cr additive promotes the deepening of reactions of destruction not only of resins and asphaltenes,but also high molecular weight naphthene-aromatic compounds of the atmospheric *** is shown that the content of low molecular weight C9-C17 n-alkanes and C9-C10 alkylbenzenes rose sharply in the products of cracking with addition of WC/Ni-Cr in comparison with those produced without the ***-and naphthene-substituted aromatic hydrocarbons of benzene,naphthalene,phenanthrene series,polyarenes,benzo-and dibenzothiophenes are identified.

World experience indicates the existence of significant imbalances in the development of *** problem of assessing the rational development of the regional and national economy is becoming urgent,since such assessments can prevent development imbalances across *** aim of this study is to elaborate a methodology to assess the countries’socio-economic development by integraring 12 modern indices of socio-economic development into the Composite Country Development Index(CCDI).The methodology of this research was based on a set of key indices that described socio-economic development level in four fields(social development,digital development,economic development,and environmental security)and then these indices were integrated into the *** study further applied factor analysis and R-Studio software to define the gaps of social and economic development in 59 selected countries using the trigonometric function of the angle *** correlation analysis confirmed the existence of a close interrelation among the studied *** paper noted that due to the emergence of new priorities,it is necessary to revise the assessment methodology of socio-economic development level and expand them to cover the decisive *** was confirmed by the results obtained,demonstrating various combinations of the development level in the four fields and their impact on the *** scientific contribution of this research is to form a methodology(e.g.,the CCDI)for evaluating the socio-economic development level of countries in the world.
