The worldwide chicken gene pool encompasses a remarkable,but shrinking,number of divergently selected breeds of diverse *** study was a large-scale genome-wide analysis of the landscape of the complex molecular architecture,genetic variability,and detailed structure among 49 *** populations represent a significant sample of the world's chicken breeds from Europe(Russia,Czech Republic,France,spain,UK,etc.),Asia(China),North America(UsA),and Oceania(Australia).Based on the results of breed genotyping using the Illumina 60K single nucleotide polymorphism(sNP)chip,a bioinformatic analysis was carried *** included the calculation of heterozygosity/homozygosity statistics,inbreeding coefficients,and effective population *** also included assessment of linkage disequilibrium and construction of phylogenetic *** multidimensional scaling,principal component analysis,and ADMIXTURE-assisted global ancestry analysis,we explored the genetic structure of populations and subpopulations in each *** overall 49-population phylogeny analysis was also performed,and a refined evolutionary model of chicken breed formation was proposed,which included egg,meat,dual-purpose types,and ambiguous *** a large-scale survey of genetic resources in poultry farming using modern genomic methods is of great interest both from the viewpoint of a general understanding of the genetics of the domestic chicken and for the further development of genomic technologies and approaches in poultry *** general,whole genome sNP genotyping of promising chicken breeds from the worldwide gene pool will promote the further development of modern genomic science as applied to poultry.

Passive seismic investigation of intraplate earthquakes epicentral zones in the North of Russia as one of the ways to understand their source mechanics

studying the inner structure of intraplate earthquakes originating in aseismic areas， which are poorly covered by seismic networks or as historical earthquakes is usually the only way to get knowledge about their source mechanisms that is partially important to deeper understand intraplate geodynamics. The epicentral zones of earthquakes are situated in hard-to-reach areas， so， using active seismic methods for such purposes is unreasonable or even impossible because of high cost and logistical difficulties. We are presenting a way to join using different passive seismic methods， which allows us to get sufficient information about geological environment structure for such task solutions. As an example， we investigated the inner structure of platform earthquake epicentral zone originated up north of Russia. We used four passive seismic methods: microseismic sounding method， passive seismic interferometry， HvsR method， and microseismic activity method. We show that passive seismic data， recoded in the same installation and processed by these different methods， can provide sufficient information about structure of studied environment， needed to explain source mechanism. In sum， the hypocenter zone is presented by intersection of vertical faults and a lateral fractured zone in the middle crust. Results were confirmed by comparison with results by active seismic methods.

This study explores the impact of introducing vacancy in the transition metal layer of rationally designed Na_(0.6)[Ni_(0.3)Ru_(0.3)Mn_(0.4)]O_(2)(NRM)cathode *** incorporation of Ru,Ni,and vacancy enhances the structural stability during extensive cycling,increases the operation voltage,and induces a capacity increase while also activating oxygen redox,respectively,in Na_(0.7)[Ni_(0.2)v_(Ni0.1)Ru_(0.3)Mn_(0.4)]O_(2)(v-NRM)*** analytical techniques including transmission electron microscopy,X-ray absorption near edge spectroscopy,operando X-ray diffraction,and operando differential electrochemical mass spectrometry are employed to assess changes in the average oxidation states and structural *** results demonstrate that v-NRM exhibits higher capacity than NRM and maintains a moderate capacity retention of 81%after 100 ***,the formation of additional lone-pair electrons in the O 2p orbital enables v-NRM to utilize more capacity from the oxygen redox validated by density functional calculation,leading to a widened dominance of the OP4 phase without releasing O_(2) *** findings offer valuable insights for the design of advanced high-capacity cathode materials with improved performance and sustainability in sodium-ion batteries.

In this paper, the authors analyzed the correlation between the microbiological stability of white wines and the content of sulfur dioxide, which influences the main redox processes that take place in the technological stages of the wine. The consecutive, parallel and spontaneous development of several redox processes and their impact on the quality, microbiological and crystalline stability of white wines were examined. The reduction of additive and subtractive technological interventions, of the amounts of adjuvants (sulphurous anhydride) is essential for the production of organic wines.

Advancing Pediatric Hemodialysis Care through the Novel Intervention in Children’s Healthcare (NICH) Program

Racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic disparities present daunting hurdles that prevent equitable health outcomes for patients with end-stage kidney disease (EsKD) on hemodialysis. Additional resources, such as the Novel Intervention in Children’s Health (NICH) at Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital stanford, provide individualized support to best assist families by assessing barriers to care with the goal of improving health outcomes. In this retrospective cohort study, we reviewed patients with EsKD on hemodialysis involved in NICH to explore if NICH serves as a liaison between the patients and multidisciplinary medical team and to explore if NICH helps patients better manage the challenges of end-stage kidney disease. Through the electronic medical record system, EPIC, we reviewed the patients’ surveys to identify barriers to care, which included school and life engagement difficulty, lack of mental health resources, food and transportation insecurity, and cultural/language barriers. We also tracked the number of hospitalizations and ED visits before and during the patients’ enrollment in NICH. We discovered that through NICH, the aforementioned barriers to care were eliminated, the number of hospitalizations and emergency department visits was reduced, and all patients transitioned from inactive to active on the transplant list. NICH successfully improved the health outcomes of these patients and empowered patients to be more engaged in their care.

For the first time, for different organic and inorganic compounds possessing the plastic crystalline phase, a new semiempirical equation describing dependence of their fusion enthalpies on such physico-chemical quantities as normal melting temperature, surface tension, molar volume and critical molar volume is received on the base of the principle of corresponding states and the energy equipartition theorem. Moreover, the proposed equation allows one to take into account the particularities of one-particle molecular rotation in the plastic crystalline phase.
