This paper introduces an approach to analyzing multivariate time series(MvTs)data through progressive temporal abstraction of the data into patterns characterizing the behavior of the studied dynamic *** paper focuses on two core challenges:identifying basic behavior patterns of individual attributes and examining the temporal relations between these patterns across the range of attributes to derive higher-level abstractions of multi-attribute *** proposed approach combines existing methods for univariate pattern extraction,computation of temporal relations according to the Allen’s time interval algebra,visual displays of the temporal relations,and interactive query operations into a cohesive visual analytics *** paper describes the application of the approach to real-world examples of population mobility data during the COvID-19 pandemic and characteristics of episodes in a football match,illustrating its versatility and effectiveness in understanding composite patterns of interrelated attribute behaviors in MvTs data.

Egg deposition within plants is one of the most widely distributed and ancient behaviors in Odonata. The resulting clutch consists of eggs placed in peculiar pattern that can be a characteristic for certain groups of Odonata. Despite their importance for paleontological and evolutionary research, data on egg-clutch positioning are missing or insufficient for most species. Here, patterning of egg clutches in Lestes virens was measured and described in detail for the first time. The female usually produces a linear row of single eggs directed at an angle rightward or leftward to the longitudinal axis of plant substrate. Less often eggs are arranged in egg-sets consisting of up to 4 eggs. Apparently, the female insect follows the rigid behavior stereotypes during oviposition and is unable to easily switch to the alternate stereotypical behavior of single egg deposition or production of multiegg sets. Based on a literature review and original data, egg clutch patterning of European Lestidae is overlaid on preexisting phylogenies. The resulting evolutionary scenario of egg-clutch patterning can be considered in the framework of egg-laying behavior in Lestidae.

Oxygenation of tissues plays an important role in the development and progression of tumor to treatment *** of metalloporphyrines phosphorescence quenching by oxygen is one of the ways to measure dynamics of the oxygen concentration in the tissues by phosphorescence lifetime imaging of meso-tetra(sulfophenyl)tetrabenzoporphyrin Pd(Ⅱ)(TBP)using the time-correlated single photon counting(TCsPC)*** has been shown that phosphorescence lifetime of the sensor in s37 tumor in vivo varied in the range of 130 to 290μs after both topical and intravenous administration of *** indicates that oxygen level in tumors was lower compared to normal tissues where TBP phosphorescence has not been *** lifetimes of TBP increased in the solid tumor and in the muscle after photodynamic therapy of solid tumor that demonstrates oxygen consumption during treatment and possibly stopping the blood flow and hence the oxygen supply to the tissues.

As we know more about Zika virus(ZIKv), as well as its linkage to birth defects(microcephaly) and autoimmune neurological syndromes, we realize the importance of developing an efficient vaccine against it. Zika virus disease has affected many countries and is becoming a major public health concern. To deal with the infection of ZIKv, plenty of experiments have been done on selection of neutralizing antibodies that can target the envelope(E) protein on the surface of the virion. However, the existence of antibody-dependent enhancement(ADE) effect might limit the use of them as therapeutic candidates. In this review, we classify the neutralizing antibodies against ZIKv based on the epitopes and summarize the resolved structural information on antibody/antigen complex from X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy(cryo-EM), which might be useful for further development of potent neutralizing antibodies and vaccines toward clinical use.

The paper presents the results of wear and metallography tests of tool steel grades: AsTM A681, Chl2M and CH12Fs per COsT, AMs 6437E i Bs X46Crl3, all surface hardened by the Carbo process (carburizing) and by the NiCar process (nitrocarburizing). The thermo-chemical treatment was conducted in powder pack for a duration of 6 h (carburizing) and for 4 h in the case of nitrocarburizing. Factors investigated were: morphology, depth and microhardness of the cases obtained, their microstructure, as well as phase composition. Wear tests were conducted by the three cylinder-cone method. Wear velocity was 0.58 m/s, unit load was 50 MPa and 400Mpa, wear path was 3470 m. Oil sAE30 was applied at the rate of 30 drops per minute.

The partial inverse problem for differential pencils on a star-shaped graph is studied from mixed spectral *** precisely,we show that if the potentials on all edges on the star-shaped graph but one are known a priori then the unknown potential on the remaining edge can be uniquely determined by partial information on the potential and a part of eigenvalues.
