While their clinical presentation is similar, post-viral rhinosinusitis does not indicate the possible development of bacterial rhinosinusitis which occurs in only 0.5% to 5% of all cases of ARS. However, unreasonable antibacterial therapy is prescribed in 54% to 77% of cases. The perspective is to use delayed antibacterial therapy management. The purpose of the study was to investigate the efficacy of mometasone furoate nasal spray within the delayed prescription approach. Methods: A multicenter, randomized, open-label, comparative, prospective, parallel group study enrolled a total of 156 patients with ARS aged 18 to 60 years, of them 155 patients completed the study. The patients were randomized into the main group of Mometasone furoate (flix) Nasal Spray or into the control group of amoxicillin clavulanate tablets while both groups were administered a standard ARS therapy. findings: The use of Mf nasal spray within the delayed antibiotics prescription approach has a significantly higher efficacy compared to the immediate antibiotics prescription in the first days of treatment (p f patients in the main group compared to 100.0% of patients in the control group (p ficant differences in the dynamics of changes in the total symptom score between the patients administered antibiotics and the antibiotic-naive patients. Conclusion: The use of Mf within the delayed antibiotics prescription approach reliably improves the pattern of symptoms over time at the disease onset and significantly reduces the need for NSAIDs administration and antibiotics prescription frequency.

Translocation is a recognized means of rescuing imperiled species but the evidence for the long-term success of translocations is limited. We report the successful translocation of reproductive individuals of a critically endangered shrub Otostegia bucharica from a site facing imminent habitat destruction into a nearby natural population of the species. The relocated plants were visited the year after planting and 13 years later to assess short-and long-term plant survival. Significant percentage of plants that survived transplanting shock and very dry spring following transplanting(around 36%), and further decrease of this number in the next 12 years by only 14%, indicated that O. bucharica is amenable to translocation using reproductive plants. Based on results of species distribution modeling, and failed attempts of ex situ cultivation, we propose introduction of this species into areas with suitable climatic and soil ***, because there is currently no nature reserve in Uzbekistan having suitable conditions for the species under the present climate and that expected in the near future, and because all known habitats of O. bucharica are exposed to the very strong anthropogenic pressure, establishment of a new protected area, awareness building and involvement of local community in conservation activities are required to prevent extinction of this extremely rare species.

Hierarchical ZnO@metal-organic framework @polyaniline(ZnO@MOf@PANI) core-shell nanorod arrays on carbon cloth has been fabricated by combining electrodeposition and hydrothermal method. Well-ordered Zn O nanorods not only act as a scaffold for growth of MOf/PANI shell but also as Zn source for the formation of MOf. The morphology of ZnO@MOf@PANI composite is greatly influenced by the number of PANI electrodeposition cycles. Their structural and electrochemical properties were characterized with different techniques. The results indicate that the Zn O@MOf@PANI with 13 CV cycles of PANI deposition demonstrates the maximum specific capacitance of 340.7 f g-1 at 1.0 A g-1, good rate capability with84.3% capacitance retention from 1.0 to 10 A g-1 and excellent cycling life of 82.5% capacitance retention after 5000 cycles at high current density of 2.0 A g-1. This optimized core-shell nanoarchitecture endows the composite electrode with short ion diffusion pathway, rapid ion/electron transfer and high utilization of active materials, which thus result in excellent electrochemical performance of the ternary composite.
