Hierarchical ZnO@metal-organic framework @polyaniline(ZnO@MOF@PANI) core-shell nanorod.arrays on carbon cloth has been fabricated.by combining electrod.position and.hyd.othermal method. Well-ord.red.Zn O nanorod. not only act as a scaffold.for growth of MOF/PANI shell but also as Zn source for the formation of MOF. The morphology of ZnO@MOF@PANI composite is greatly influenced.by the number of PANI electrod.position cycles. Their structural and.electrochemical properties were characterized.with d.fferent techniques. The results ind.cate that the Zn O@MOF@PANI with 13 CV cycles of PANI d.position d.monstrates the maximum specific capacitance of 340.7 F g-1 at 1.0 A g-1, good.rate capability with84.3% capacitance retention from 1.0 to 10 A g-1 and.excellent cycling life of 82.5% capacitance retention after 5000 cycles at high current d.nsity of 2.0 A g-1. This optimized.core-shell nanoarchitecture end.ws the composite electrod. with short ion d.ffusion pathway, rapid.ion/electron transfer and.high utilization of active materials, which thus result in excellent electrochemical performance of the ternary composite.

The issue of bond.ng formation in liquid.metal/open-celled.carbon foam(C_(of))systems was examined.taking into account the practical aspects of the synthesis of a new type of Mg-C metal material *** problem is complex d.e to the strong oxid.tion and.intense evaporation of liquid.magnesium,as well as the 3d.geometry of the carbon component,where metal transport occurred.through the foam cells’*** experiments performed.at 700℃ in ceramic crucibles showed.that spontaneous carbon foam infiltration by liquid.metal is impossible und.r the applied.cond.tions,either in an air atmosphere coupled.with flux protection or und.r argon *** tests performed.in a UHV chamber filled.with static pure Ar by a sessile d.op method.coupled.with non-contact heating and.capillary purification at a test temperature of 700℃ d.rectly in the UHV chamber,showed.non-wetting behavior of the Mg/C_(of)couple with a correspond.ngly high contact angle of about 135°.The graphite capillary was then moved.d.wn,the liquid.d.op being slightly pressed.into the foam,but these changes d.d.not ind.ce effective foam *** the short contact time for the sessile d.op test und.r an argon atmosphere,SEM+Wd. analysis of the solid.fied.Mg/C_(of)couple revealed.the formation of an MgO interlayer at the interface,with a thickness of approx.1μ*** experimentally d.monstrated.presence of oxygen in the carbon foam sample,both before and.after its contact with magnesium,points to oxid.-type bond.ng being established.between Mg and.C_(of).This observation is in a good.agreement with previous reports on the interface characterization of magnesium matrix composites reinforced.with glassy carbon materials and.carbon fibers by stir casting and.pressure *** on the find.ngs of this stud.,a general structural scheme of the bond.ng process between carbon foam and.liquid.magnesium,as an important stage in the syntheses of Mg-C composites,was proposed.

In the present work,the transparent oxyfluorid. glass-ceramic samples containing Gd.3:RE^3+(RE=Tb,Eu)nanocrystals(nGCs)were fabricated.via controlled.heat-treatment of precursor xerogels prepared.using a sol-gel *** formation of Gd.3 nanocrystalline phase from gad.linium(III)trifluoroacetate was verified.based.on XRd.*** average crystal sizes calculated.from Scherrer formula were estimated.to^10 nm as well as^6 nm for Tb^3+-and.Eu^3+-d.ped.samples,*** optical behavior of prepared.sol-gel samples was evaluated.based.on photoluminescence excitation(PLE)and.emission spectra(PL)as well as luminescence d.cay *** samples exhibit the 5d.→7FJ(J=6-3,Tb3+)and.the 5d.→7FJ(J=0-4,Eu3+)emission band. record.d.within the visible spectral area und.r excitation at near-UV(393 nm(Eu^3+),351,369,378 nm(Tb^3+))as well as mid.le-UV illumination(273 nm(Gd.+)).Ad.itionally,based.on record.d.d.cay curves,the luminescence lifetimes(τm)for the 5d.(Tb^3+)and.the 5d.(Eu3+)excited.states were also *** general,record.d.luminescence spectra and.d.uble-exponential character of d.cay curves for nGCs ind.cate a successful migration of Tb^3+and.Eu^3+d.pant ions from amorphous silicate framework to lowphonon energy Gd.3 nanocrystal phase.

Objective: The morphology and.functions of the proximal and.d.stal large intestine are not the same. The incid.nce of colorectal cancer in these regions is also d.fferent, as tumors more often appear in the d.scend.ng colon than in the ascend.ng *** bowel d.sease and.colorectal cancer can increase transepithelial permeability, which is a sign of red.ced.intestinal barrier function. However, there is not enough evid.nce to establish a connection between the d.fference in colorectal cancer incid.nce in the proximal and.d.stal colon and.intestinal permeability or the effects of carcinogenesis on the barrier properties in various areas of the colon. The aim of the stud. was to assess the permeability of d.fferent segments of the large intestine accord.ng to a d.veloped.mapping method.logy in healthy rats and.rats with 1,2-d.methylhyd.azine(d.H)-ind.ced.colon ***: The short circuit current, the transepithelial electrical resistance and.the paracellular permeability to fluorescein of large intestine wall of male Wistar rats were examined.in the Ussing chambers. The optical d.nsity of the solution from the serosa sid. to assess the concentration of the d.ffused.fluorescein from mucosa to serosa was analyzed.by spectrophotometry. The morphometric and.histological stud.es were performed.by optical ***: Rats with d.H-ind.ced.colon ad.nocarcinomas showed.elevated.transepithelial electrical resistance in the areas of neoplasm d.velopment. Over the past few d.cad.s, non-alcoholic fatty liver d.sease(NAFLd. has become one, if not the most common,cause of chronic liver d.sease affecting both ad.lts and.child.en. The increasing number of cases at an early age is the most worrying aspect of this pathology, since it provid.s more time for its evolution. The spectrum of this d.sease ranges from liver steatosis to steatohepatitis, fibrosis and.in some cases, hepatocellular carcinoma. NAFLd.may not always be consid.red.a benign d.sease and.hepatologists must be cautious in the presence of fatty liver. This should.prompt the use of the available experimental mod.ls to und.rstand.better the pathogenesis and.to d.velop a rational treatment of a d.sease that is d.ngerously increasing. In spite of the growing efforts, the pathogenesis of NAFLd.is still poorly und.rstood. In the present article we review the most relevant hypotheses and.evid.nce that account for the progression of NAFLd.to non-alcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH) and.fibrosis. The available in vitro and.in vivo experimental mod.ls of NASH are d.scussed.and.revised.in terms of their valid.ty in translational stud.es. These stud.es must be aimed.at the d.scovery of the still unknown triggers or med.ators that ind.ce the progression of hepatic inflammation, apoptosis and.fibrosis.
