Predictive potential distribution modeling is of increasing importance in modern herpetological studies and determination of environmental and conservation priorities. In this article we provided results of analysis and forecasts of the potential distribution of smallscaled rock agama Paralaudakia microlepis （blanford, 1874） using the distribution models through Maxent （***/- schapire / maxent）. We made an attempt for comparison of input of bioclimatic factors and characteristics of biotope distribution for three species of genus Paralaudalda. Constructed model identified dissemination of Paralaudakia microlepis enough performance （AUC = 0.972 with dispersion 0.003）. According to the map constructed, the most suitable habitats of smallscaled rock agama Paralaudakia microlepis are located in southern and eastern Iran, the west of central Pakistan and southeastern Afghanistan.

对物种变异特征的研究在种及种下分类工作中有着重要的意义。鳞被特征是有鳞目蜥蜴亚目物种重要的鉴别特征。密点麻蜥复合体(Eremias multiocellata speciescomplex)指麻蜥属中的卵胎生种组,其分类一直不清楚。THE REPTILE DATAbASE将指名种密点麻蜥(***)分为***,***,***,***,***和***等6个亚种,而Eremchenko&Panfilov(1999)将当时认为的复合体分为***,***,***,***和***五个独立的物种。而国内两栖爬行动物专家通常认为密点麻蜥仅分为二个亚种:指名亚种(***)和莎车亚种(***),且分布区与Szczerbak(2003)观点也不一致;同时认为喀什麻蜥(***)和四额鳞麻蜥(***)为无效种,均为密点麻蜥的同物异名。我们以中国科学院成都生物研究所(CIb)和俄罗斯科学院动物研究所(ZISP)两栖爬行动物标本馆馆藏的密点麻蜥复合体标本20个居群,113号个体为对象,对其鳞片数目及排列的变异做统计分析,并采用多变量分析方法进行了主成分分析。测量的23个性状包括额鼻鳞、前额鳞、额鳞、额顶鳞、顶鳞、顶间鳞、上睫鳞、眶下鳞、上唇鳞、下唇鳞、耳孔前缘扩大鳞片、相接颔片的对数、下颌单侧的颔片数、颌片到领围连线上的鳞片数、腹部鳞片、最长横向腹鳞数、股孔、股孔间鳞片数、第9环尾鳞、第4指瓣下鳞、第4趾瓣下鳞、眶上鳞后侧扩大鳞片、眶下鳞楔入上唇鳞等。结果表明,额鼻麟1枚或2枚,在喀什麻蜥中有变异;前额鳞2枚或不规整的3-6枚,在密点麻蜥中有变异,在莎车麻蜥(***)中变异出现率高;额鳞1枚稳定,在密点麻蜥中存在变异个体将额鳞分为2或4枚;额顶鳞2枚稳定,在荒漠麻蜥(***)和密点麻蜥中存在变异个体;顶鳞2枚稳定,密点麻蜥中存在变异个体;顶间鳞1枚,但在喀什麻蜥和莎车麻蜥存在变异个体。第1和2或3主成分散点图表明,荒漠麻蜥单独聚为一簇,支持荒漠麻蜥为有效种,其第9环尾鳞数、腹部鳞片、最长横向腹鳞九和股孔间鳞片方面较密点麻蜥等多;而密点麻蜥和莎车麻蜥交错分布,各自未明显地聚为一簇,不支持莎车麻蜥为独立的物种。同样,喀什麻蜥与密点麻蜥也交错分布,没有截然界限,喀什麻蜥可能是密点麻蜥一个亚种。要正解理解密点麻蜥复合体的物种组成和相互关系,需要更多的个体、地理居群的形态数据和分子证据。

麻蜥属Eremias隶属于蜥蜴科Lacertidae,为典型的草原和荒漠动物,分布于欧洲东南部、亚洲西部和中亚地区,往东到达中国东北和朝鲜。100多年来,其分类经历了较多的变动和修订,但其种间和亚属间系统发育关系仍不清楚。目前认为,麻蜥属大约包括36种,分为五个亚属Aspidorhinus,Rhabderemias,Ommateremias,Scapteira和Pareremias。前四个亚属为卵生方式,而Pareremias亚属中除丽斑麻蜥***和山地麻蜥***外,其余均为卵胎生方式。本研究中,通过线粒体16S rRNA来研究以下问题:(1)重新评价该属部分物种的系统发育关系;(2)检验卵胎生物种是否构成单系;(3)采用贝叶斯松散分子钟估算其支系分化时间。结果表明,支持麻蜥属是一单系,与其亲缘关系最近的属是Acanthodactylus和Latastia属;明确了Pareremias亚属构成单系,丽斑麻蜥与山地麻蜥构成姐妹种;首次从分子上支持了卵胎生类群为一次起源。此外,密点麻蜥***分化较强,而荒漠麻蜥***嵌在密点麻蜥之中,二者并未形成交互单系(reciprocal monophyly),这可能是由于基因渐渗(introgression)或不完全谱系分拣(incomplete lineage sorting),密点麻蜥可能是复合种(species complex)或并系种(paraspecies)。***和***二种麻蜥构成一个分支,与Pareremias亚属关系最近。然而,Aspidorhinus,Scapteira和Rhabderemias三个亚属可能不是单系。贝叶斯松散分子钟估算表明,麻蜥属可能起源于9.9百万年前(95%置信区间为7.62Ma),从晚中新世辐射到更新世,在相对较短的地质时间内伴有多次快速物种形成事件。Pareremias亚属约起源于6.3Ma(95%置信区间为5.3.5 Ma),该亚属的分化可能与8Ma以来青藏高原的快速抬升所引起的东亚季风气候的演化密切相关。

The traditional high-level Green-Naghdi(HLGN)model,which uses the polynomial as the shape function to approximate the variation of the horizontal-and vertical-velocity components along the vertical direction for each-fluid layer,can accurately describe the large-amplitude internal waves in a two-layer system for the shallow configuration(h_(2)/λ■1,h_(1)/λ■1).However,for the cases of the deep configuration(h_(2)/λ■1,h_(1)/λ=O(1)),higher-order polynomial is needed to approximate the variation of the velocity components along the vertical direction for the lower-fluid ***,however,introduces additional unknowns,leading to a significant increase in computational *** paper,for the first time,derives a general form of the HLGN model for a two-layer fluid system,where the general form of the shape function is used during the *** obtaining the general form of the two-layer HLGN equations,corresponding solutions can be obtained by determining the reasonable shape ***-amplitude internal solitary waves in a deep configuration are studied by use of two different HLGN *** of the two HLGN models shows that the polynomial as the shape function for the upper-fluid layer and the production of exponential and polynomial as the shape function for the lower-fluid layer is a good *** comparing with Euler’s solutions and the laboratory measurements,the accuracy of the two-layer HLGN model is verified.

Results of the analysis of taxonomic diversity and representation of different evolutionary lineages of agamid lizards(Reptilia, Sauria, Agamidae) are provided in this article. For comparison with the fauna of China, the following territories were selected: North Eurasia, Iran and different countries of South and Southeast Asia. There are 49 agamid species in China, comprising 12 genera and 4 subfamilies. Annotated check-list and identification keys to genera are provided. Among the 49 species of agamids present in China, the percent of endemic species is relatively high(22 species; 45%). Endemic species refer to 4 genera with the genus Japalura having the most, 10 of 14 species, proceeded by members of Tibetan Plateau lineage of Phrynocephalus, 8 of 12 species, and Calotes with 1 species and Laudakia with 3.

Poor bone quality is a major factor in skeletal fragility in elderly *** molecular mechanisms that establish and maintain bone quality,independent of bone mass,are unknown but are thought to be primarily determined by *** hypothesize that the age-related decline in bone quality results from the suppression of osteocyte perilacunar/canalicular remodeling(PLR),which maintains bone material *** examined bones from young and aged mice with osteocyte-intrinsic repression of TGFβsignaling(TβRII^(ocy−/−))that suppresses *** control aged bone displayed decreased TGFβsignaling and PLR,but aging did not worsen the existing PLR suppression in male TβRII^(ocy−/−)*** relationship impacted the behavior of collagen material at the nanoscale and tissue scale in macromechanical *** effects of age on bone mass,density,and mineral material behavior were independent of osteocytic TGFβ.We determined that the decline in bone quality with age arises from the loss of osteocyte function and the loss of TGFβ-dependent maintenance of collagen integrity.

Predictive potential distribution modeling is crucial in outlining habitat usage and establishing conservation management priorities. In this paper we provide detailed data on the distribution of the Caucasian rock agama Para- laudakia caucasia, and use species distribution models （MAXENT） to evaluate environmental suitability and potential distribution at a broad spatial scale. Locality data on the distribution of P. caucasia have been gathered over nearly its entire range by various authors from field surveys. The distribution model ofP caucasia showed good performance （AUC = 0.887）, and predicted high suitability in regions mainly located in Tajikistan, north Pakistan, Afghanistan, southeast Turkmenistan, northeast Iran along the Elburz mountains, Transcaueasus （Azerbajan, Armenia, Georgia）, northeastern Turkey and northward along the Caspian Sea coast in Daghestan, Russia. The identification of suitable areas for this species will help to assess conservation status of the species, and to set up management programs.

The rapid racerunner,Eremias velox,is a widely distributed lizard from the northern Caucasus across entire Central Asia eastward to *** is increasingly common to accept *** as a species complex in its entire *** date,published morphological and molecular systematic hypotheses of this complex are only partially congruent,and its taxonomic status and evolutionary history are still far from *** mitochondrial cytochrome b gene and12S rRNA sequences were used to evaluate the taxonomy of this complex,with particular attention to the phylogenetic placement of populations in northwestern *** of the phylogenetic analyses recovers seven distinct,biogeographically discrete,and well-supported clades,revealing genetically identifiable populations corresponding to some previously morphology-defined *** *** appears to have split from other Central Asian rapid racerunner lizards well before differentiation occurred among the latter ***,we corroborate that there are two subspecies occurring in China,i.e.,*** and *** recommend a novel subspecific status for the phenotypically and genetically distinct populations in southern Aral Sea region of Uzbekistan previously assigned to ***,each of the three independently evolving lineages from Iranian Plateau should be recognized as three species new to science under the general lineage concept.
