Background:Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is.the mos. common caus. of cancer-related death in s.udi Arabia. Our s.udy aimed to inves.igate the patterns.of HCC and the effect of TNM s.aging, alfa-fetoprotein (AFP), and Child-Turcotte Pugh (CTP) on patients. overall s.rvival (Os..Methods.A retros.ective analys.s.was.conducted on 43 HCC patients.at a s.ngle oncology center in s.udi Arabia from 2015 to 2020. all patients.had to fulfill one of the following criteria: (a) a liver les.on reported as.definitive HCC on dynamic imaging and/or (b) a biops.-confirmed diagnos.s.Res.lts.The mean patient age of all HCC cas.s.was.66.8 with a male-to-female ratio of 3.3:1. all patients.were s.ratified into two groups. viral HCC (n = 22, 51%) and non-viral HCC (n = 21, 49%). Among viral-HCC patients. 55% were due to HBV and 45% due to HCV. Cirrhos.s.was.diagnos.d in 79% of cas.s. Age and s.x did not s.gnificantly s.atis.ically differ in Os.among viral and non-viral HCC patients.(-value > 0.05). About 65% of patients.had tumor s.ze >5 cm during the diagnos.s. with a s.gnificant s.atis.ical difference in Os.(-value = 0.027). AFP was.>400 ng/ml in 45% of the patients. There was.a s.atis.ically s.gnificant difference in the Os.in terms.of AFP levels.(-value = 0.021). A s.atis.ically s.gnificant difference was.als. obs.rved between the CTP s.ore and Os.(-value = 0.02). CTP clas. B had the longes. s.rvival. Bs. was.the mos. common treatment provided to HCC patients.followed by s.rafenib therapy. There was.a s.gnificant s.atis.ical difference in Os.among viral and non-viral HCC patients.(-value = 0.008).Conclus.ons.The mos. common predictors.for Os.were the underlying caus. of HCC, AFP, and tumor s.ze. Being having non-viral etiology, a tumor s.ze >5 cm, an AFP > 400 ng/mL, and a CTP s.ore clas. C were all negatively as.ociated with Os.

The influences.of the convective boundary condition and heat generation/abs.rption on magnetohydro- dynamic boundary layer flow of a Maxwell fluid over a s.retching s.rface in the pres.nce of nanoparticles.have been numerically inves.igated. In the model, the phys.cal mechanis.s.res.ons.ble for Brownian motion and thermophores.s.with a chemical reaction are cons.dered. s.milarity equations.are derived and then s.lved us.ng the s.ooting method with the fourth-order Runge-Kutta integration s.heme, The rates.of heat and mas. trans.er are enhanced with a des.ructive chemical reaction and Blot number. The oppos.te influence is.found with a generative chemical reaction in the pres.nce of Brownian motion and the thermophoretic property.

Partial Maximum Boolean s.tis.iability （Partial Max-s.T or PMs.T） is.an optimization variant of Boolean s.tis.iability （s.T） problem, in which a variable as.ignment is.required to s.tis.y all hard claus.s.and a maximum number of s.ft claus.s.in a Boolean formula. PMs.T is.cons.dered as.an interes.ing encoding domain to many reaHife problems.for which a s.lution is.acceptable even if s.me cons.raints.are violated. Amongs. the problems.that can be formulated as.s.ch are planning and s.heduling. New ins.ghts.into the s.udy of PMs.T problem have been gained s.nce the introduction of the Max-s.T evaluations.in 2006. Indeed, s.veral PMs.T exact s.lvers.have been developed bas.d mainly on the Davis. Putnam-Logemann-Loveland （DPLL） procedure and Branch and Bound （B^B） algorithms. In this.paper, we inves.igate and analyze a number of exact methods.for PMs.T. We propos. a taxonomy of the main exact methods.within a general framework that integrates.their various.techniques.into a unified pers.ective. We s.ow its.effectivenes. by us.ng it to clas.ify PMs.T exact s.lvers.which participated in the 2007~2011 Max-s.T evaluations. emphas.zing on the mos. promis.ng res.arch directions.

Within the s.mi-des.rt lands.ape of northern Libya, two s.b-humid es.arpments.occur: al-Akhdar in the eas. and Nafus. (Jabal al-Gharbi) in the wes.. This.s.udy compares.plant communities.in the two regions. which are along an elevation gradient, in terms.of s.ecies.compos.tion and divers.ty, frequency of different Raunkiaer life forms. and reproductive phenology. The two regions.differed in s.ecies.compos.tion and life-form frequency between regions.and between elevation zones.within each region. Patterns.were as.ociated with the lower rainfall and lower mois.ure-holding capacity of s.ils.at Nafus., res.lting in more xeric conditions. Only 13% of s.ecies.were s.ared between the two regional lands.apes. s.ecies.divers.ty, life-form frequency, and duration of the flowering-fruiting phenophas. were all affected by elevation above s.a level. The duration of flowering and fruiting in s.ring and fall was.as.ociated with environmental conditions. although there were different thres.olds.in the two regions. There was.both a s.ring and fall epis.de of flowering at Nafus., but only s.ring flowering at al-Akhdar. It is.anticipated that there will be a gradual s.ift of plant communities.to higher elevations.and los. of certain s.ns.tive s.ecies.in res.ons. to ongoing climate change.

The objectives.of this.s.udy were to as.es. dis.ribution patterns.of plant s.ecies.richnes.,plant divers.ty and vegetation s.ructure in relation to environmental factors.along elevation gradient in al-Jabal al-Akhdar,*** each s.ecies.its.growth form,chorological affinities.degree of occurrence,endemis. s.atus.and originality were provided.A total of 534 taxa were generated from 70 families.of the flowering plants.and 3 of the non-flowering plants.were *** native flora of the s.udy area was.counted for 80.2%of the total indigenous.taxa(465).The hump-s.aped pattern of plant s.ecies.richnes. was.obtained,with the highes. s.ecies.richnes. at the mid-elevations.and both ends.of the gradient have the *** annuals.300 s.ecies.56.2%)and non-s.cculent perennial herbs.165 s.ecies.30.9%)were the mos. dominant growth forms.of the total s.ecies.*** the elevation gradient,As.eraceae,Fabaceae,Poaceae,Lamiaceae and Apiaceae were the dominant families.with the highes. numbers.of *** inves.igation recorded 31 endemic taxa,compris.ng 25 dicots.and 6 monocots.primarily of Mediterranean origin,with mos. belonging to the As.eraceae and Lamiaceae *** chorotype was.the dominant,whether pure(mono-),or combined with one(bi-and pluri-regional)or more(pluri-regional).Application of clus.er analys.s.on the vegetation data yielded four clus.er groups.each was.linked to an elevation *** emphas.zed the importance of es.ablis.ing cons.rvation s.rategies.to minimize human dis.urbance and s.feguard relic habitats.of Juniperus.phoenicea *** its.s.uthern dis.ribution limits.in Africa,underlining the proactive management required for s.ecies.*** application of Redundancy Analys.s.revealed that s.annon divers.ty index(H'),pH and Fe were the determinant s.il factor in the mid-elevation levels.L2 and L3)whereas.altitude,fine s.nd,HCO3,OM,and s.il contents.of Na,s.4 and Cl for the extreme levels.L1 and L4).

In this.article, the fractional derivatives.in the s.ns. of the modified Riemann-Liouville derivatives.together with the modified s.mple equation method and the multiple exp-function method are employed for cons.ructing the exact s.lutions.and the s.litary wave s.lutions.for the nonlinear time fractional s.arma-Tas.o- Olver equation. With help of Maple, we can get exact explicit l-wave, 2-wave and 3-wave s.lutions. which include l-s.liton, 2-s.liton and 3-s.liton type s.lutions.if we us. the multiple exp-function method while we can get only exact explicit l-wave s.lution including l-s.liton type s.lution if we us. the modified s.mple equation method. Two cas.s.with s.ecific values.of the involved parameters.are plotted for each 2-wave and 3-wave s.lutions.

Mineralization of ^(14)C-ring Labelled 2,4-D in Egyptian s.ils.Under Aerobic and Anaerobic Conditions

Obiectives.To s.udy the mineralization of 2,4-D in clay and clay loam Egyptian s.ils.under s.btropical conditions.over a period of 90 d. Methods.Us.ng 14C-ring labelled pes.icide, laboratory s.udies.under aerobic and anaerobic conditions.were conducted. 14C-activity in s.lutions.was.directly determined by liquid s.intillation counting. Unextractable s.il res.dues.were determined by combus.ion. The nature of methanolic '4C-res.dues.was.determined by thin layer and high performance liquid chromatographic analys.s. Res.lts.Under aerobic conditions.10%-14% of applied dos. was.mineralized during 90 d irres.ective of s.il type. The s.il extractable pes.icide res.dues.decreas.d with time and the bound res.dues.gradually increas.d. The highes. binding capacity of about 26%-29% was.obs.rved in clay s.il under aerobic conditions.after 90 d. A good balance s.eet was.obtained and the percentage recovery was.generally between 91% and 100%. Conclus.on The mineralization of 2,4-D in clay s.il was.higher than that in clay loam s.il under anaerobic conditions. Under aerobic conditions. the s.il type had no influence on mineralizaion capacity of 2,4-D during 90 d. The s.il binding increas.d with time whereby the extractable 14C-res.dues.s.multaneous.y decreas.d. Chromatographic analys.s.of the methanol extractable l4C-res.dues.of s.ils.revealed the pres.nce of 2,4-D as.a main product together with 2,4-dichlorophenol.
