Introduction: sleep is a state of rest accompanied by altered consciousness and relative inactivity . Most people can fall a sleep easily and remain asleep until the desired waking time. The discomfort produced by physical and mental illness and the need for hospitalization and treatment may interfere dramatically with a patient?ˉs ability to sleep. Consequently, nurses need to be vigilant in detecting and treating sleep disturbances.

In this paper,the non-harmonic resonance of Bernoulli viscoelastic beams,Kirchhoff viscoelastic plates,Timoshenko viscoelastic beams,and Mindlin viscoelastic plates subjected to time-dependent exponentially decreasing transverse distributed load is investigated for the first *** constitutive equations are expressed utilizing Boltzmann integral law with a constant bulk *** displacement vector is approximated by employing the separation of variables *** Laplace transformation is used to transfer equations from the time domain to the Laplace domain and vice *** novel point of the proposed method is to express,prove and calculate the critical time in which the displacement will be several times the displacement at time *** addition,this new method calculates the maximum deflection at the critical time,explicitly and exactly,without any need to follow the time-displacement curve with a low computational ***,the proposed method introduces the critical range of time so that the responses are greater than the responses at time zero.

Drought is one of the most significant environmental disasters,especially in arid and semi-arid *** indices as a tool for management practices seeking to deal with the drought phenomenon are widely used around the *** of these indicators is the Palmer drought severity index(PDSI),which is used in many parts of the world to assess the drought situation and *** this study,the drought state of Fars Province in Iran was evaluated by using the PDSI over 1995-2014 according to meteorological data from six weather stations in the province.A statistical downscaling model(SDSM)was used to apply the output results of the general circulation model in Fars *** implement data processing and prediction of climate data,a statistical period 1995-2014 was considered as the monitoring period,and a statistical period 2019-2048 was for the prediction *** results revealed that there is a good agreement between the simulated precipitation(R2>0.63;R2,determination coefficient;MAE0.95,MAE<1.74,and RMSE<1.78)with the observed data from the *** results of the drought monitoring model presented that dry periods would increase over the next three decades as compared to the historical *** studies showed the highest drought in the meteorological stations Abadeh and Lar during the prediction period under two future scenarios representative concentration pathways(RCP4.5 and RCP8.5).According to the results of the validation periods and efficiency criteria,we suggest that the SDSM is a proper tool for predicting drought in arid and semi-arid regions.

Novel graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))nanosheet/Bi_(5)O_(7)Br/NH_(2)-MIL-88B(Fe)photocatalysts(denoted as GCN-NSh/Bi_(5)O_(7)Br/FeMOF,in which MOF is metal–organic framework)with double S-scheme heterojunctions were synthesized by a facile solvothermal *** resultant materials were examined by X-ray photoelectron spectrometer(XPS),X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM),photoluminescence spectroscopy(PL),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),UV-Vis diffuse reflection spectroscopy(UV-vis DRS),photocurrent density,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS),and Brunauer–Emmett–Teller(BET)*** the integration of Fe-MOF with GCN-NSh/Bi_(5)O_(7)Br,the removal constant of tetracycline over the optimal GCN-NSh/Bi_(5)O_(7)Br/Fe-MOF(15wt%)nanocomposite was promoted 33 times compared with that of the pristine *** GCN-NSh/Bi_(5)O_(7)Br/Fe-MOF(15wt%)nanocomposite showed superior photoactivity to azithromycin,metronidazole,and cephalexin removal that was 36.4,20.2,and 14.6 times higher than that of pure GCN,*** quenching tests showed that·O_(2)-and h+mainly contributed to the elimination *** addition,the nanocomposite maintained excellent activity after 4 successive *** on the developed n–n heterojunctions among n-GCN-NSh,n-Bi_(5)O_(7)Br,and n-Fe-MOF semiconductors,the double S-scheme charge transfer mechanism was proposed for the destruction of the selected antibiotics.

With the aim of evaluating the possible impacts of cold plasma on the structure and growth pattern of Capsicum annuum, the current study was carried out. The seeds were exposed to an argon-derived plasma（0.84 W cm^（-2） surface power densities） for 0, 1 or 2 minutes. Plasmatreated seeds were grown in the Murashige and Skoog（MS） medium or MS medium supplemented with BA and IAA. The presence of purple stems was recorded in plasma-treated plants grown in the medium supplemented with hormones. The recorded morphological differences were dependent on the exposure time of plasma treatments and/or the presence of hormones in the culture media. Plasma treatment of 1 minute had an improving effect on the shoot and root lengths as well as total leaf area, whereas plasma treatment of 2 minutes had an adverse effect. In contrast to the 1 minute treatment, plasma treatment of 2 minutes significantly impaired growth and hence reduced the total biomass. Alterations in stem diameter and differences in tissue patterns（especially in the vascular system） occurred, and were mainly dependent on the plasma exposure time and/or the presence of hormones. This is a first report on the effects of cold plasma on plant growth in in vitro conditions.

Reduced web section(RWS)connections can prevent lateral-torsional buckling and web local buckling experienced by reduced beam section(RBS)*** RWS connections,removing a large portion of web can result in shear demand intolerance induced to plastic hinge *** present study aims to resolve the problems of RBS and RWS connections by proposing two new connections:(1)RBS with stiffener(RBS-ST)and(2)RBS with reduced web(RW-RBS)*** the first connection(RBS-ST),a series of stiffeners is connected to the beam in the reduced flange region,while the second connection(RW-RBS)considers both a reduction in flanges and a reduction in *** beam-to-column joints with three different connections,including RBS,RBS-ST,and RW-RBS connections were considered and simulated in *** to the results,RBS-ST and RW-RBS connections can decrease or even eliminate lateral-torsional buckling and web local buckling in RBS *** is important to note that RWRBS connection is more effective in long beams with smaller shear demands in the plastic hinge ***,results showed that RBS and RW-RBS connections experienced strength degradation at 4%to 5%drift,while no strength degradation was observed in RBS-ST connection until 8%drift.

The HIV infection model of CD4＋ T-cells corresponds to a class of nonlinear ordinary differential equation systems. In this study, we provide the approximate solution of this model by using orthonormal Bernstein polynomials （OBPs）. By applying the proposed method, the nonlinear system of ordinary differential equations reduces to a nonlinear system of algebraic equations which can be solved by using a suitable numerical method such as Newton＇s method. We prove some useful theorems concerning the convergence and error estimate associated to the present method. Finally, we apply the proposed method to get the numerical solution of this model with the arbitrary initial conditions and values. Furthermore, the numerical results obtained by the suggested method are compared with the results achieved by other previous methods. These results indicate that this method agrees with other previous methods.

The manuscript titled "Vacuoles of Candida yeast behave as a specialized niche for Helicobacter pylori(***)" not only has not been prepared in a scientific manner but the methodology used was not adequate, and therefore the conclusion reached was not correct. First of all, "yeast" is a broad terminology covering a great number of genera and species of unicellular micro-organisms. The authors should have defined the organism with its binary scientific name. This measure would allow experiment reproduction by the scientific community. Moreover, the criteria established by Robert Koch to identify a specific microorganism or pathogen was not adopted in the methodology used. Regarding the methodology applied, use of the chicken eggyolk(Ig Y) antibody and PCR of the apparently tainted yeast population to prove H. pylori existence in the yeast vacuoles might be main factors for their wrong conclusions. Bacterial tropism toward yeast extract is a known phenomenon, and yeast extract is one of the main ingredients in culture media. Their internalization through phagocytosis or similar pathways does not seem possible or practical because of the thick and cellulosic yeast wall. While the small size of yeast cells does not support their ability in harboring several H. pylori, other observations such as inefficiency of antifungal therapy as anti-Helicobacter therapy strongly reject the conclusion reached by the above-mentioned article.

Mono and bis-4-methylpiperidiniummethyl urea were synthesized,characterized and used as new corrosion inhibitors of mild steel in the acidic *** effect of two compounds on mild steel surface in the 1 mol·L^(–1 )sulphuric acid has been studied by a series of techniques,such as potentiodynamic polarization,weight loss and quantum chemical calculation *** polarization measurements showed that two inhibitors are mixed *** measurements showed that inhibition efficiencies enhanced with increase of inhibitor *** reveals that inhibitive actions of inhibitors were mainly due to adsorption on mild steel *** functional(DFT)calculations have been carried out for the title compounds by performing HF and DFT levels of theory using the standard 6-31G*basis set.
