Detection and classification of the blurred and the non-blurred regions in images is a challenging task due to the limited available information about blur type,scenarios and level of *** this paper,we propose an effective method for blur detection and segmentation based on transfer learning *** proposed method consists of two separate *** the first step,genetic programming(GP)model is developed that quantify the amount of blur for each pixel in the *** GP model method uses the multiresolution features of the image and it provides an improved blur *** the second phase,the blur map is segmented into blurred and non-blurred regions by using an adaptive threshold.A model based on support vector machine(SVM)is developed to compute adaptive threshold for the input blur *** performance of the proposed method is evaluated using two different datasets and compared with various state-of-the-art *** comparative analysis reveals that the proposed method performs better against the state-of-the-art techniques.

The direct band gap ZnTe with transition metal （TM） impurities plays a vital role in optoelectronic and spintronic applications. In the present study, we use the advanced modified Becke-Johnson （mBJ） functional for performing the structural computations and detailed investigations of the optical characters in Zn1_xTMxTe （TM = Fe, Co） alloys with 0 ≤ x ≤1. By employing the FP-LAPW method, we determine various optical parameters for the ternary alloys and for the end binaries. The calculated static dielectric constants and optical band gaps for Zn1_xTMxTe （TM = Fe, Co） have an inverse relation that verifies the Penn model. We find that the static dielectric constant is nearly equal to the square of the static refractive index, and both increase with TM content. Furthermore, we also find a slight shift of peaks to a higher energy region with increasing TM concentration. The decreasing band gap and high value of the absorption in the visible region of electromagnetic spectrum make these alloys suitable for photonic and solar cell applications.

Cormels pieces of four Fusarium susceptible Gladiolus cultivars （Friendship, Peter Pears, Victor Borge and Novalux） formed friable calli when cultured in vitro on Murashige and Skoog basal medium containing various concentrations of auxin and cytokinin. The friable calli established cell suspensions. Plantlet regeneration was obtained from the control callus, control cell suspension derived callus and in vitro selected Fusarium oxysporum Schlecht. resistant cell-lines of Friendship. The in vitro cormlets showed 85-95% germination after breaking dormancy of 8 weeks at 4℃. Cell suspensions of all four Gladiolus cultivars were found to be highly sensitive to fusaric acid. Gradual increase in fusaric acid concentrations to the cell-suspension cultures decreased cell growth considerably. One albino plant was found from the second generation of the in vitro selected cell line of Friendship. The albino plant was found to be highly susceptible to F. oxysporum. The cormlets of all in vitro selected cell lines of Friendship were inoculated with a conidial suspension of the F. oxysporum before planting and were also sprayed with the same spore suspension for further characterization when the height of plants was about 6cm. The four selected cell lines showed the same response whether or not they were inoculated with conidia of the F. oxysporum. Plantlets of all of the selected cell lines exhibited significant growth as compared with the control after application of conidia of the F. oxysporum.

We present a general analysis on non-static axial system with dissipative shear-free anisotropic fluid using polynomial inflationary f(R) *** study the effects of dissipation on the dynamics of geodesic matter *** leads the system either to rotation-free or expansion-free but not both simultaneously under geodesic *** is found that the system preserves its symmetry in both *** the rotation-free case,when there is no dissipation and Ricci scalar is constant,the axial system reduces to FRW universe *** is exactly the same result obtained in general relativity.

The performance of complementary feeders, running in parallel, can be significantly improved by installing static transfer switches （STSs） at critical locations. We develop the STS control logic, which transfers the critical load from the preferred feeder to the alternate feeder when a voltage sag or a fault occurs on the preferred feeder. A forced commutation technique is proposed and implemented to turn off the preferred feeders＇ thyristor, thus avoiding cross current to flow and minimizing the transfer time. Simulation results show that the forced commutation technique is more effective as compared to the recently proposed time delay technique for STS operation. Two different feeders, namely New Exchange, the preferred feeder, and Sector 1-10/2, the alternate feeder of Islamabad Electric Supply COmpany （IESCO）, Pakistan, have been selected for case studies. The software PSCAD/EMTDC professional package has been used for simulation.

目的探讨穿心莲内酯磺化物(andrographolide sulfonate,AS)抗耐甲氧西林金黄色葡萄球菌(methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus,MRSA)及其生物膜(biofilm,BF)的药效及机制。方法采用微量肉汤倍比稀释法测定AS对MRSA的最低抑菌浓度(minimum inhibition concentration,MIC);生长曲线法测定不同浓度AS作用MRSA 24小时内的细菌时间—生长曲线;微孔板法测定不同剂量AS给药对成熟MRSA生物膜(MRSA biofilm,MRSA-BF)活菌量的影响;扫描电镜(scanning electron microscope,SEM)观察不同剂量AS对成熟MRSA-BF的形态学变化;通过超高压液相色谱—飞行时间质谱仪法(UPLC-TOF-MS)分析不同剂量AS干预成熟MRSA-BF菌体的内源性代谢物谱特征。结果AS表现出显著的抗MRSA活性,MIC为50 mg/mL;12.5 mg/mL和6.25 mg/mL浓度的AS均可较好地抑制MRSA及其BF的生长,破坏已成熟的膜性结构,且抑制作用呈剂量依赖关系。代谢组学结果提示27个内源性终端代谢物是反映生物膜形成的代谢物,相关的生物通路有苯丙氨酸(phenylalanine,PA)、酪氨酸(tyrosine,Tyr)、色氨酸的生物合成以及牛磺酸和亚牛磺酸代谢;16个内源性终端代谢物是6.25 mg/mL AS干预MRSA-BF的代谢标志物,相关的生物通路为苯丙氨酸、酪氨酸和色氨酸的生物合成;18个内源性终端代谢物是12.5 mg/mL AS干预MRSA-BF的代谢标志物,通路分析未发现相关的生物通路;11个内源性终端代谢物是反映AS干预MRSA-BF的药效代谢标志物,其相关的生物通路包括苯丙氨酸、酪氨酸和色氨酸的生物合成、新生霉素的生物合成以及苯丙氨酸的代谢。结论AS对MRSA及其成熟生物膜均有抑制作用,抑制BF的机制与细菌苯丙氨酸、酪氨酸和色氨酸的生物合成、新生霉素的生物合成以及苯丙氨酸的代谢相关。AS可作为临床治疗MRSA-BF感染的潜在有效方案。

Railway ballast forms a major component of a conventional rail track and is used to distribute the load to the subgrade, providing a smooth running surface for trains. It plays a significant role in providing support for the rail track base and distributing the load to the weaker layer underneath. Ballast also helps with drainage, which is an important factor for any type of transportation structure, including railroads. Over time, ballast progressively deforms and degrades under dynamic loading and loses its strength. In this study, extensive laboratory tests were conducted to investigate the effect of load amplitude, geogrid position, and number of geogrid layers, thickness of ballast layer and clay stiffness on the behavior of the reinforced ballast layer and induced strains in a geogrid. A half full-scale railway was constructed for carrying out the tests, which consisted of two rails 800 mm in length with three wooden sleepers(900 mm × 10 mm × 10 mm). Three ballast thicknesses of 200, 300 and 400 mm were used in the tests. The ballast was overlying 500 mm thickness clay in two states, soft and stiff. The tests were carried out with and without geogrid reinforcement; the tests were performed in a well-tied steel box of 1.5 m length ×1 m width ×1 m height. Laboratory tests were conducted to investigate the response of the ballast and the clay layers where the ballast was reinforced by a geogrid. Settlement in ballast and clay, soil pressure and pore water pressure induced in the clay were measured in reinforced and unreinforced ballast cases. It was concluded that the amount of settlement increased as the simulated train load amplitude increased, and there was a sharp increase in settlement up to cycle 500. After that, there was a gradual increase that leveled out between, 2500 to 4500 cycles depending on the frequency used. Effectively managing complex logistics data is essential for development sustainability and growth,especially in optimizing distribution *** article addresses the limitations of current logistics path optimization methods,such as inefficiencies and high operational *** overcome these drawbacks,we introduce the Hybrid Firefly-Spotted Hyena Optimization(HFSHO)algorithm,a novel approach that combines the rapid exploration and global search abilities of the Firefly Algorithm(FO)with the localized search and region-exploitation skills of the Spotted Hyena Optimization Algorithm(SHO).HFSHO aims to improve logistics path optimization and reduce operational *** algorithm’s effectiveness is systematically assessed through rigorous comparative analyses with established algorithms like the Ant Colony Algorithm(ACO),Cuckoo Search Algorithm(CSA)and Jaya Algo-rithm(JA).The evaluation also employs benchmarking methodologies using standardized function sets covering diverse objective functions,including Schwefel’s,Rastrigin,Ackley,Sphere and the ZDT and DTLZ Function *** outperforms these algorithms,achieving a minimum path distance of 546 units,highlighting its prowess in logistics path *** comprehensive evaluation authenticates HFSHO’s exceptional performance across various logistic optimization *** findings emphasize the critical significance of selecting an appropriate algorithm for logistics path navigation,with HFSHO emerging as an efficient *** the synergistic use of FO and SHO,HFSHO achieves a 15%improvement in convergence,heightened operational efficiency and substantial cost reductions in logistics *** presents a promising solution for optimizing logistics paths,offering logistics planners and decision-makers valuable insights and contributing substantively to sustainable sectoral growth.
