Monkeypox(Mpox)has posed a novel challenge and emerged as a threat to global public health since the onset of its outbreak in *** is spreading throughout the world in both endemic and non-endemic countries,indicating that its behavior is *** prevalence of Mpox and the risk of a global pandemic necessitate a better understanding of Mpox virus replications and interactions with the ***,we attempted to provide a detailed comprehensive review of Mpox virus behavior at the molecular level from the entry level to the establishment of a successful infection,including attachment and entry,DNA replication,protein expression and viron assembly and *** review also describes its strategies to evade host immune responses and inhibit apoptosis,and uncovers underlying molecular mechanisms such as subverted signaling pathways and cellular factors behind host-viral interactions.

This study has isolated,characterized,and identified potential plant growthpromoting rhizobacteria(PGPR)with multiple PGP characteristics(N_(2)-fixation,P-and K-solubilization,IAA,and siderophores production)from the rhizosphere BRIS soil of Acacia mangium.A total of 24 pure colonies were isolated and only 8 colonies were selected for further evaluation of the growth rate in 5%organic molasses medium supplemented with 2%KNO_(3).Based on the biochemical,potential PGP characteristics and growth performance,3 superior PGPR strains were selected and identified as Paraburkholderia unamae(UA1),Bacillus amyloliquefaciens(UA6),and Enterobacter asburiae(UAA2)by partial sequencing of the 16S rRNA *** selected bacterial strains either in single or mixed(UA1+UA6+􀀁UAA2)cultures have shown a significant biochemical estimation of the PGP *** strain has its own PGPR traits superiority with UA1 showing the best PGP characteristic followed by UA6 and *** use of mixed bacterial strains was beneficial as it showed the best performance in N_(2)-fixation,siderophores production,and significant effect on corn phenology,growth and yield compared to using a single *** types of microbes showed potential to be used as biofertilizer and should be exploited more.

With the rapid development of location-based services and online social networks,POI recommendation services considering geographic and social factors have received extensive ***,the vigorous development of cloud computing has prompted service providers to outsource data to the cloud to provide POI recommendation ***,there is a degree of distrust of the cloud by service *** protect digital assets,service providers encrypt data before outsourcing ***,encryption reduces data availability,making it more challenging to provide POI recommendation services in outsourcing *** privacy-preserving schemes for geo-social-based POI recommendation have been presented,but they have some limitations in supporting group query,considering both geographic and social factors,and query accuracy,making these schemes *** solve this issue,we propose two practical and privacy-preserving geo-social-based POI recommendation schemes for single user and group users,which are named GSPR-S and ***,we first utilize the quad tree to organize geographic data and the MinHash method to index social ***,we apply BGV fully homomorphic encryption to design some private algorithms,including a private max/min operation algorithm,a private rectangular set operation algorithm,and a private rectangular overlapping detection *** that,we use these algorithms as building blocks in our schemes for efficiency *** to security analysis,our schemes are proven to be secure against the honest-but-curious cloud servers,and experimental results show that our schemes have good performance.

Hybrid Effects on MHD Mixed Convective Boundary Layer Flow through a Sloped Plate in Existence of Nanofluid-Saturated Porous Medium

This study examines the effects of heat, mass, and boundary layer assumptions-based nanoparticle characteristics on the hybrid effects of using MHD in conjunction with mixed convective flow through a sloped vertical pore plate in the existence of medium of porous. Physical characteristics such as thermo-diffusion, injection-suction, and viscous dissipation are taken into consideration, in addition to an equally distributed magnetic force utilized as well in the completely opposite path of the flow. By means of several non-dimensional transformations, the momentum, energy, concentration, and nanoparticle volume fraction equations under investigation are converted in terms of nonlinear boundary layer equations and computationally resolved by utilizing the sixth-order Runge-Kutta strategy in combination together with the iteration of Nachtsheim-Swigert shooting procedure. By contrasting the findings produced for a few particular examples with those found in the published literature, the correctness of the numerical result is verified, and a rather good agreement is found. Utilizing various ranges of pertinent factors, computing findings are determined not only regarding velocity, temperature, and concentration as well as nanoparticle fraction of volume but also concerning with local skin-friction coefficient, local Nusselt and general Sherwood numbers associated with nanoparticle Sherwood number. The findings of the study demonstrate that increasing the fluid suction parameter decreases the velocity and temperature of the flow field in conjunction with concentration and has a variable impact on the nanoparticle fraction of volume, despite an increasing behavior in the local skin friction coefficient and local Nusselt as well as general Sherwood numbers and an increasing behavior in the local nanoparticle Sherwood number. Corrosion and Scaling Threat in Upstream Oil Operation

Corrosiveness or scaling is an inherent threat to oil operations. The primary cause for this threat is the presence of water having complex geochemical matrix. Unanticipated water production, particularly if it contains unwanted impurities, can significantly impact hydrocarbon production. The current paper discusses the degree of threat posed to oil operation facilities based on the water characteristics. Methodology involved the collection and analysis of water samples from major sources in oil industry such as groundwater, wellheads and seawater. The parameters tested include geochemical, microbiological and pollutants. The lab data was used to develop scaling and corrosion prediction indices such as Langelier Saturation Index (LSI), Ryznar Stability Index (RSI) and Puckorius Scaling Index (PSI). The study indicated varying water chemistry for different sources. Mixing of those waters may lead to ionic saturation and scaling in different facilities. Presence of the SRB and GAB in some water sources also posed threat to water system by forming fouling and corrosion. Seawater used for offshore oilfields water injection to maintain reservoir pressure and improve oil recovery showed scaling tendency, whereas under different reservoir pressure, it can cause corrosion. Some of the samples also had corrosion residuals such as iron, which indicated active corrosion. Current study showed higher alkalinity with high sulfate for one groundwater sample with presence of active corrosion residuals such as dissolved iron and manganese. The study showed positive value for LSI which indicated supersaturation of the water samples with respect to calcium carbonate (CaCO3) and scale forming. Similarly, for RSI and PSI, the value was below six which confirmed the scaling potential for all the samples. Design of a Novel Robotic Fish Structure Utilizing PVC Gel Actuators

In this research work, it has been designed a bionic robot fish structure, can swim underwater. The active compact body is powered by eight sets of symmetric PVC gel actuators with a caudal fin. The robot’s 200 mm-long, fish structure design incorporates a 55.52 angle to optimize the fish dynamics movement. It’s a fast and smooth operation and can swim. The robot can swim fast and quietly by using the right positions and the appropriate actuators on PVC gel actuators. This design entails a unique architecture that enables the robot to move safely and unobtrusively at the same time, which makes it suitable equipment for different exploration and surveillance missions in the water with speed and silent operation as the foremost concern.

The Current Conservation Efforts and Future Prospects for the Endangered Nubian Ibex (Capra nubiana ibex) in Sudan

A comprehensive action plan for the conservation of the endangered species, the Nubian ibex in Sudan, can be developed by gaining a thorough understanding of their current status, conservation strategy, and relevant laws and regulations, as well as raising awareness about the importance of protecting endangered species. The Nubian ibex is listed as an endangered species on The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List, highlighting the need for further research on population conservation efforts due to insufficient population data. To address this knowledge gap, a questionnaire was conducted with various stakeholders, including police officers, researchers, and lecturers, representing a diverse range of organizations and universities. The findings revealed that hunting is the primary factor contributing to endangerment. Mammals account for 80% of endangered species, while reptiles comprise less than one-tenth. Research centers are recognized as the main governing body, and 85% of participants are concerned about the declining population. Hunting accounted for less than half of the threats to the ibex population in Sudan, while habitat loss made up a quarter. Mining, climate change, human activity, and agriculture were also identified as risks. However, there were no plans, strategies, procedures, or measures in place to conserve the Nubian ibex. There were also no initiatives to preserve its biodiversity, and awareness about endangered species was lacking. Although participants believed that laws were effective in protecting the ibex, no licenses were issued for its conservation, and annual surveys were not conducted. Additionally, there were no recorded instances of Mukhalfat related to the Nubian ibex. In light of these findings, we propose various conservation measures to address these challenges. Regolith thickness modeling using a GIS approach for landslide distribution analysis, NW Himalayas

Regolith thickness is considered as a contributing factor for the occurrence of ***, mostly it is ignored because of complex nature and as it requires more time and resources for investigation. This study aimed to appraise the role of regolith thickness on landslide distribution in the Muzaffarabad and surrounding areas, NW *** this purpose regolith thickness samples were evenly collected from all the lithological units at representative sites within different slope and elevation classes in the field. Topographic attributes(slope, aspect, drainage, Topographic Wetness Index,elevation and curvature) were derived from the Digital Elevation Model(DEM)(12.5 m resolution).Arc GIS Model Builder was used to develop the regolith thickness model. Stepwise regression technique was used to explore the spatial variation of regolith thickness using topographic attributes and lithological units. The derived model explains about 88% regolith thickness variation. The model was validated and shows good agreement(70%) between observed and predicted values. Subsequently, the derived regolith model was used to understand the relationship between regolith thickness and landslide distribution. The analysis shows that most of the landslides were located within 1-5 m regolith thickness. However, landslide concentration is highest within 5-10 m regolith thickness, which shows that regolith thickness played a significant role for the occurrence of landslide in the studied area.

Short Communication: Enhancing the Drying Process of Microbial-Based Products with a Dehumidifier

The development of microbial-based products requires certain criteria for them to be successfully commercialized. The product must meet the following desirable criteria: effectiveness, contamination free, stability, cost-effectiveness, and a prolonged shelf life. Controlling the drying process is crucial for ensuring the stability and durability of the product. The traditional approach, which involved mechanical and natural drying, led to decreased productivity and quality. The objective of this research endeavour was to achieve a dry process enhancement while preserving the microbial quality of Trichoderma asperellum (M103). The temperature and relative humidity during the drying period were monitored under two conditions: with and without a dehumidifier. The results demonstrate that the dehumidifier increases drying period efficiency by up to 63%.
