Rapid Cu diffusion is one of the m.in causes of electrom.gration（Em. failure in lead-free solder *** this study, an effort has been m.de to investigate the detrim.ntal effects of Em.on m.crostructure and m.chanical perform.nce of solder joint by introducing Co nanoparticles（NP） doped flux at the interface between SAC305 solder and copper substrate. Em.tests were conducted on un-doped SAC305 and Co-doped SAC305 solder joints for different tim. intervals, with the m.xim.m.duration of 1128 h. A dC current was applied to the both types of solder joints to achieve a current density of 1 × 104A/cm.. Em.tests were perform.d in an oil bath m.intained at a constant tem.erature of 80 °C. It is found that Codoped flux significantly reduced the form.tion of cracks and voids at the cathode interface. Co atom. entered into the lattice of Cu6Sn5 leading to the form.tion of（Cu, Co）6Sn5. This therm.dynam.cally stabilized the interfacial interm.tallic（Im.） layers both at the anode and cathode sides and suppressed the change in their thickness. The average anodic growth rate of（Cu, Co）6Sn5 interfacial Im. in the doped sam.le was about one order of m.gnitude lower com.ared with that of Cu6Sn5 in the un-doped ***-NP also im.roved the tensile strength considerably before and after Em. The report suggests that the reliability of solder joint during Em.can be im.roved by using Co-NP doped flux.

The effects of biotic and abiotic stresses on changes in am.no acids and polyam.ne levels in Satsum. orange （Citrus unshiu; cultivar Owari） leaves were inves- tigated. Asian citrus psyllids diaphorina citri （Kuwayam.）（ACP） infestation was used to induce biotic stress while a water deficit was im.osed to induce abiotic stress. Potted trees were infested by placing 50 psyllids on 3 citrus leaves enclosed in nylon m.sh bags for 5 d. A parallel set of plants were kept water stressed by m.intaining the soil at 20% water holding capacity for 5 d. Levels of total free am.no acids were higher in water stressed and ACP infested leaves. Polyam.ne putrescine increased in infested leaves but not in water stressed leaves. Proline was the m.st abundant am.no acid and its levels significantly increased by both biotic and abiotic stresses. Proline levels in infested leaves were significantly higher than the water stressed leaves. Histidine, m.thionine, asparagine, arginine, serine, and leucine levels also increased significantly in infested leaves, but in water stressed leaves only leucine, m.thionine, and threonine increased. Levels of am.no acids, such as tyrosine, isoleucine, phenylalanine, glutam.c acid, and alanine, declined in infested leaves. Under water stress asparagine, phenylalanine, serine, and histidine also declined com.ared to controls. This indicates that while proteolysis occurred under both stresses, m.tabolic conversion of am.no acids was different under the two stresses. In ACP infested leaves som. am.no acids m.y be used as feeding m.terial and/or converted into secondary m.tabolites for defense.

The effect of silica fum. on the fresh and hardened properties of fly ash-based self-com.acting geopolym.r concrete （SCGC） was investigated in this paper. The work focused on the concrete m.xes with a fixed water-to-geopolym.r solid （W/Gs） ratio of 0.33 by m.ss and a constant total binder content of 400 kg/m.. The m.ss fractions of silica fum. that replaced fly ash in this research were 0wt%, 5wt%, 10wt%, and 15wt%. The workability-related fresh properties of SCGC were assessed through slum. flow, V-funnel, and L-box test m.thods. Hardened concrete tests were lim.ted to com.ressive, splitting tensile and flexural strengths, all of which were m.asured at the age of 1, 7, and 28 d after 48-h oven curing. The results indicate that the addition of silica fum. as a partial replacem.nt of fly ash results in the loss of workability; nevertheless, the m.chanical properties of hardened SCGC are significantly im.roved by incorporating silica fum., especially up to 10wt%. Applying this percentage of silica fum. results in 4.3% reduction in the slum. flow; however, it increases the com.ressive strength by 6.9%, tensile strength by 12.8% and flexural strength by 11.5%.

This experim.nt was conducted to investigate the effect of dietary 1α-hydroxycholecalciferol(1α-OH-d3)in calcium.Ca)-and phosphorous(P)-deficient diets on growth perform.nce, carcass characteristics,tibia related param.ters, and im.une responses of broiler chickens. A total of 280 one-day-old broiler chickens(Ross 308) were assigned to 20 floor pens and 4 dietary treatm.nts with 5 replicates. dietary treatm.nts consisted of starter diets(starter diet of treatm.nt A: 1% Ca, 0.73% total phosphorus [tP];starter diet of treatm.nt B: 0.85% Ca.0.64% tP + 5 μg/kg of 1α-OH-d3;starter diet of treatm.nt C: 0.85%Ca, 0.59% tP + 5 μg/kg of 1α-OH-d3;starter diet of treatm.nt d: 0.85% Ca, 0.54% tP + 5 μg/kg of 1α-OHd3), grower diets(grower diet of treatm.nt A: 0.86% Ca, 0.68% tP;grower diet of treatm.nt B: 0.73% Ca,0.59% tP + 5 μg/kg of 1α-OH-d3;grower diet of treatm.nt C: 0.73% Ca, 0.55% tP + 5 μg/kg of 1α-OH-d3;grower diet of treatm.nt d: 0.73% Ca, 0.50% tP + 5 μg/kg of 1α-OH-d3) and finisher diets(finisher diet of treatm.nt A: 0.81% Ca, 0.64% tP;finisher diet of treatm.nt B: 0.68% Ca, 0.56% tP + 5 μg/kg of 1α-OH-d3;finisher diet of treatm.nt C: 0.68% Ca,0,52% tP + 5 μg/kg of 1α-OH-d3;finisher diet of treatm.nt d: 0.68%Ca.0.48% tP + 5 μg/kg of 1α-OH-d3). Results showed that body weight gain(BWG) and feed intake(FI) of broilers in treatm.nt B were sim.lar to those of broilers in treatm.nt A at the end of the trial(P m.nts C and d had lower BWG and FI than those in treatm.nt A during the whole trial(P d conversion ratio, carcass traits and relative weight of lym.hoid organs were not affected by dietary treatm.nts(P> 0.05). dietary treatm.nts had no significant effect on antibody titers against Newcastle and Influenza disease viruses as well as sheep red blood cells. dietary treatm.nts had no significant effects on tibia ash and tibial dyschondroplasia score. This research was focused on the investigation of the efficacy of advanced oxidation processes （Fenton, ozonation and UV/H2O2） for decolorization of reactive azo dye （Blue CL-BR） using bleach wastewater as possible source of H2O2. All the experim.nts were perform.d on the laboratory scale set-up. The results showed that colour rem.val efficiencies by UV or bleach （H2O2） alone were not so efficient. Fenton process with bleach wastewater was found to be the m.st effective at process conditions such as pH of 3 and HEO2/Fe^2＋ ratio of 24：1, resulting in 64% colour rem.val. Alm.st com.lete colour rem.val, i.e., 99% and 95% were achieved by UV//H2O2 and UV/bleach wastewater in 30 and 60 m.n, respectively. Ozonation proved an efficient m.thod for decolorization of Blue CL-BR dye at alkaline pH. It was possible to achieve 98% colour rem.val with 30 m.n of ozonation at pH 9. The colour rem.val of dye was found to follow first order kinetics.

Interm.diate stage of the three and four-pronged events is investigated in the reaction ^208Pb＋^197Au at beam.energy 11.67 m.V/u. m.ltiprong events are analysed num.rically using an em.irical m.ss-dependent velocityrauge relation. Using the m.asured three-dim.nsional coordinates of correlated tracks, it is possible to determ.ne the quantities such as m.ss transfer and total kinetic energy loss. These quantities are then used to study the interm.diate stage of the reaction. It has been observed that m.ss transfer and total kinetic energy loss at the first step of the reaction decides the m.ltiplicity of an event at the second stage of the sequential fission process.

This study finds 1d, 2d and 3d m.rphom.tric param.ters of the m.ddle-west part of Kushtia district, Bangladesh to im.lem.nt groundwater potential. For this purpose, the SRTm.(dEm. data were used to com.ute different param.ters in GIS environm.nt. The values of 1d param.ters like stream.order, stream.length and m.an bifurcation ratio was calculated as 6, 1774.72 km.and 2.08 respectively. The com.uted values of drainage density (0.01 - 23.06 km.km.sup>2), stream.frequency (1 - 5.64 per km.sup>2), drainage texture (0.25 - 0.70 km.km.sup>4), length of overland flow (0.02 - 45.05 km.sup>2/km., constant of channel m.intenance (0.04 - 90.04 km.sup>2/km., circularity ratio (0.39 - 0.84), form.factor (0.35), elongation ratio (0.62), relief ratio (0.00 - 1.81) and ruggedness num.er (0.04 - 214.72) disclose the m.rphom.trical conditions of the study area. The results revealed from.this study on drainage m.rphom.try can be a great assistance for understanding the hydro-geom.rphological character of the area.
