BACKGROUND Liver grafts from donation after circulatory death.DCD)are associated with.a h.gh.r risk of early graft dysfunction,determined by th. warm isch.mia and cold isch.mia *** is essential to h.ve precise criteria to identify th.s complication in order to guide th.rapeutic *** To validate different graft and recipient survival scores in patients undergoing liver transplantation(LT)with.DCD *** A retrospective and observational unicentric study was conducted on 65 LT patients with.grafts obtained from controlled DCD donors from November 2013 to November *** United Kingdom(UK)risk score,early allograft dysfunction(EAD)Olth.ff score,and model for early allograft function(MEAF)score were used to evaluate th. risk of graft and recipient survival *** survival analysis purposes,we used th. Kaplan-Meier meth.d,and th. differences between subgroups were compared using th. log-rank(Mantel-Cox)*** Sixty-five patients were included in th. *** UK risk score did not demonstrate predictive capacity for recipient or graft ***,in donors aged over 70 years old(18.4%),it significantly predicted graft survival(Ph.,2 years,and 5 years in th. futility group dramatically decreased to 50%compared to th. oth.r groups(log-rank 8.806,Ph. EAD Olth.ff and MEAF scores did not demonstrate predictive capacity for recipient or graft *** on Kaplan-Meier survival curves,patients with.a MEAF score≥7 h.d a lower graft survival rate at 6 month.,2 years,and 5 years compared to patients with.a lower MEAF score(log-rank 4.667,Ph.UK DCD risk score and MEAF score sh.wed predictive capability for graft survival.

A 56-day feeding period was performed to investigate th. possible impacts of dietary nano curcumin(0,50,100,150,and 200 ppm)on th. growth.nutrient utilization,non-specific immune parameters,antioxidants in Nile tilapia under ch.onic low temperature(21.02±0.11◦C).Fish.s(n=225;Initial weigh.=4.39±0.08 g/fish.were randomly stocked at 15 fish.tank for five experimental groups in *** low-temperature circumstances,dietary curcumin in nano form sh.wed no notable alteration in growth.variable,nutrient efficiency,digestive enzymes efficiency,biometric indices,survival rates,and h.matological ***,th. serum of fish.s with.nano curcumin diets under low-temperature stress displayed h.gh.r total protein as well as lower glucose,cortisol,and total ch.lesterol compared with.th. control ***,fish.fed nano curcumin diets displayed h.gh.r lysozyme and bactericidal activities compared to th. control group and th. best performance was found at dietary nano curcumin level of≥100 ***,groups fed th. basal diet demonstrated th. poorest antioxidant capacity,and th. best superoxide dismutase(SOD)and glutath.one peroxidase(GPx)existed in fish.with.nano curcumin diets wh.le th. best catalase(CAT)efficiency occurred at h.gh.r nano curcumin levels≥100 *** addition,h.gh.r counts of intestinal microbiota in terms of total bacterial count(TBC),total yeast and molds count(TYMC),and coliform were noticed in fish.consumed th. basal diet compared to groups fed on nano curcumin *** conclusion,incorporating nano curcumin at a level of≥100 mg/kg diet(particularly at 150 mg/kg)improved a non-specific immune response,antioxidant,and h.alth.er gastrointestinal microbiota in Nile tilapia under ch.onic low-temperature stress.

Poor stability and dispersibility,as well as aggregation are considered as major ch.llenges in clinical application of iron oxide nanoparticles(IONPs).Several studies h.ve sh.wn th.t th. synth.sis parameters and post-synth.sis treatments e.g.,drying meth.ds,h.ve th. capability to improve th. particles'***,we investigate th. combined effect of synth.sis and post-treatment parameters on th. particle size,stability and magnetism of ***(Fe_(3)O_(4))NPs were prepared via co-precipitation and post-treated using different meth.ds,i.e.(i)freeze dried at-53℃,0.133 mbar for 48 h.liquid nitrogen frozen(LFD)and freezer frozen(FFD)),(ii)vacuum oven dried(VOD)at 60℃for 24 h.and(iii)kept wet colloidal(WET),dispersed in deionized *** Fe_(3)O_(4)NPs’ch.mical functional groups,size,sh.pe,crystallinity,stability,aggregation,porosity,and magnetic properties were furth.r analysed using different ch.racterisation *** results sh.wed th.t,wh.le th.
